I believe that it's obvious that these are just made-up words and not an actual language. I just wish we could take a closer peek at Amber Hood's notes (http://i.imgur.com/Mcpb8J0.png).
Although I've not played in years, I'm still quite the L2 geek. As such, I have spent more time than I'd like to admit memorising the words that are being chanted.
Here's a quick transcript of what Dark Elves chant:
1) nahoo zakme ahpihih
2) yahoo
3) likli yakooee yaktis
4) yak
5) hanusam yarooch
6) namen
7) ya nakya in tastet
8) ri keweh mihinyouo
(I really have to learn how to write in phonemic)
You have to admit that whoever came up with this 'language' bears a very creative mind.
Yeah, we figured this out way back in open beta. Dark Elf spells are derived from reading a certain passage in The Malleus Maleficarum backwards while making an inverted bird of paradise pose with the east wind in your face at the exact hour of twilight. Oh, and the largest digit on your foot must be bifurcated by Venus before you utter the chant.

insane LOL ive heard the audio for DE mage so much in my life that i can hear the audio in my head while reading the phonemics you wrote.
