Now that Russia is blocked... Is it time for a classic server??

The biggest point of failure on Skelth was the Russian and Ukrainian Real Money Traders. Now that NCSoft has been dealing with that, a classic server might be in the works.

I personally know of hundreds of lineage 2 players that are eager to play on an NCSoft classic server.

About a month ago Juji announced "new projects" (note the plural):

One of those projects might in fact be a Classic server, especially since NCWest is now more clearly defining the territory distribution with Innova. Skelth for Europeans, NCWest Classic for North and South Americans, Australians etc. :)

I would only play Classic if they brought back spoil.

if bad countries are blocked now, what the chars with rmt-ads are sitting in towns? should we wait another list of bad countries?

and btw - which is county-origin off all that kamael-bots on freya now? will they be feel good on any new servers?

for some reason I just do not see that happening when nowadays ISS player base is declining like crazy as it is..I'm sure for the first week or so the server would be decent. Inevitably there would be a massive decline in population as people get sick of the XP requirement and other issues of old (such as the one you brought up). I would expect the server to be pretty dead by the end of the first month as the cheaters pull well ahead of everyone else.
