The numbers for what it would cost to upgrade are already up on rochand, it's not that hard for someone to find it. Of course we even get the option to upgrade them.

This means that you must crystallize 3364 / .7799 = 4313 +0 R99 weapons to upgrade one +27 R-Grade weopon to R99. Are there 4313 R99 weapons on Freya?
Apart from that you can also raid the Epic Dragons and some instanced Bosses to get Combat Spirit Crystals, but since players will buy them up to upgrade for example a +7 Blessed Specter weapon to an unblessed +7 Amaranthine weapon, which costs only 12 Combat Spirit Crystals, the price for those items will remain high. Since players will be buying small quantities of Combat Spirit Crystals to upgrade mere +8 or +12 weapons, any of those Crystals that are generated by doing instanced Bosses (the only practicable way) will vanish from the server again soon afterwards. There will never be 3364 Combat Spirit Crystals on the server at any given time.
As MYSTERYouse pointed out on Rochand (http://boards.rochand.com/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=1694&start=210#p34465), if we ever get that system, the main source of those Crystals will be the L2Store. You paid real money for the Save Tickets to make your +27 weapon, then you will pay again real money to get the items for upgrading it to R99. NCsoft got you coming and going :D

NC will introduce some events in 2017 to battle scarcity of required items.
This seems to be best solution for getting rid of excessive amounts of adena in all servers. It would be way more efficient than selling high end items in Auction Houses.

2. The upgrade system it's not 100% confirmed but, since it's an actual option on Mammon (right?) might hint that it might be used in other foreign builds. (Most of the other stuff that wasn't added here was related to events with the exception of 1 or 2 things)
3. Yes, it is very expensive to upgrade such weapon to Dark r99, the new item that you need seems hard to get, but then, you don't know if that will change. An event might change that in a week. If such items get to a reasonable price the upgrade is actually doable considering the rewards. (Specially if the weapon is +24 or higher)
4. Dragon weapons are still better, although they won't be cheaper then this projects. (at least not anymore :P)

With us this far into the game and with people have spent so much money/rmt/botting on it I doubt I would be impressed if someone linked me a +30 Dark R99 weapon and a +20 Dark Eternal set. I saw someone linked 13K hero coin yesterday, and I know there are people who have spent many times that on Chronos, so not so impressed.

Don't be ridiculous. Lindvior suposed to drop only from lindvior. But we all know its not the case. Or how many of rings of ruler on servers ? Every price or possibility to obtain item is set to 0 chance. And there is 100% of you are l2store user. Everything goes through there. And so u can forget any npc prices and possibilitys and chances but just think about that there will be some event where all crap needed to upgrade weapons will be included. which confirms my +8 Months timeline for this update if it will ever be included into the overseas patch releases to begin with.. remember the improved epics we never got for example..

Thats the nature of the enchanting scrolls. It has always been like this. Bows always get more p.atk per enchant. Its in all grade scrolls descriptions. The higher the enchant the bigger the difference will be.
+16 weapons should be rare. But with all those freaking enchants enchants that cane after GoD for the money you see where we are.
Before GoD only blesses and destruction were available. No stones either. Destruction S was made available a bit before GoD tought. Actually, before GoD they all existed in game files but were never used.

This is wrong but anyways a +22 R95 with proper SA's, 15% skill crit dmg bow is slightly better about 4-5% dmg difference than a +12 proper SA's 15% skill crit dmg dark bow. In no ones wildest dreams is a +27 apo bow better than a +20 dark bow same goes for +30 being better than +22/23 dark bow... This doesnt even take into account hp/cp or 3rd SA also..
