Wynn barrier, balance life performed as normal.
Evis barrier, balance life performed as normal.
ISS celestial, balance life performed as normal.
Healer celestial, balance life performed as normal.
Kept hitting a toon till its undying will went off, balance life performed as normal.
Noteworthy:
After a bit of trial & error when you do balance life the moment these effects take place (very hard to time) it does seem to mess up.
Same result with purge, run forced fear macro from wynn.
Purge the moment it comes up = purge up but fear still taking effect.
It seems stuff breaks when an negative status effects that should get cancelled happens at the same moment of the purge applying both effect but effectively forfeiting the purge.
This is noticeable in nightmare kamaloka most of all places (since fears etc happen the most here).
I can try running the tests over again on a (dimensional) siege although the variables here become a lot greater.
I am starting to get the impression there might also be a factor for load on server (since it's always heavy load at siege time).
With this in mind i could see it having the potential of increasing the "window" where both effects could apply at same time.
With that in mind i still think it is when something like the following scenario happens:
Player reached low HP and/or receives a negative status effect (get debuff / undying will).
At the same time or close enough to it healer performs balance life or purge.
Technical problem (speculation):
The order of effects need to take place at the same time but there might be a technical issue here where neither effect see each other (purge) or due to changed behavior balance life is blocked from performing heal (in error, since any other type of healing is blocked under normal circumstances but balance life works trough barriers / undying will).
It is pure speculation but maybe under this circumstance there is a different rule set for healing / debuffs compared to normal.

Compare synchronized events with regular events, are all effects applied at the same time in the correct order?
This is a very hard one because it might also dictate certain tricky situations where if a negative effect takes place before a positive the positive might get canceled out entirely.
Personally i would feel always apply positive effect first and then check if the negative effect can still affect target.
Are healing rules treated the same when synchronized events take place vs regular events?
Bonus points: instantly cast skills / effects / potions etc not getting canceled out when used at same time anything that disrupts it takes place (important word is instantly here).
i play with my dual healer and i got sometimes this bug with purge when your purge is up but still ppl got debuff, or they die with celestial on but is rare occasion to appear so dont know you are unlucky or your timing is "too good"

The thing is.... when a debuff comes out or the purge works or it doesn't. If things go too much "on the same time" you will proly have cd on purge but will still get the debuff.
But this is a different thing (in this thread): this guy is talking about BALANCE HEAL.
How the hell he gets his balance heal "bugged" everytime? Not once, but kinda always?!
Seriously... this guy must be using some bot program and didn't set it up right. He must be so naive to make this thread. If it was a big issue it would happen with lots of ppl. But looks like just this guy is able to mess with the balance heal all the time

This game is so old and it stills baffles me that there are so many broken systems that are yet to be fixed in this game like the other day our yul did flash and enemies are still able to target him and yesterday on siege I was attacking a wartag did mass paralyze and I got pk in the process lmao
Balance heal works perfectly fine in Naia (when you use your hands ofc) :cool:

Yeah... and you're the only healer (from the whole dim server) complaining about it :p go preach to the GMs and submit a ticket so they can solve your "issueS" ;)

I haven't heard anything like that from healers who do regular sieges or anything related to balance heal.
Like Nymphadorae said you should ask to a GM instead of posting it in the forum. The players aren't going to solve your issues. If you ask a GM to check your account, he might solve it.

As you can see, no one is experiencing the same issue. You keep calling it a bug, so submitting a ticket should be the logical thing to do. That way the GMs can acknowledge this (supposed) error and fix it on later updates, or conclude that the "one of the top healers" has no idea how his class skills works :)
P.S: I'm pretty sure there is a lot of confusion with "their", "they're" and "there" in that quote; but I'm not here to decode engrish...
