I have a question about the new event, will we be able to trade stage 3/4 Jewels???

Jewels will not be for sale through mammon with the January Update. But the Lv. 3 and Lv. 4 jewel 'repackage' option will most likely be added, except for the new Blue/Red Cat's Eye Jewels. How this will work is you can exchange a non-tradable Lv. 3 or Lv. 4 Jewel + a Quantity of "Jewel Powder" and you receive a tradable box of the same type of Lv. 3 or Lv. 4 Jewel.
The store prices, we normally release that on the day of the sale starts, so we will definitely provide that information with the official sale announcement.
Regarding the Zaken server, server transfers will still be disabled to and from that server. But we are still working on a plan for the server and that will be one of top priorities in 2017.

We're still working with the L2 Dev Team on that. But from my current understanding the 6-Slot Brooch will require the 5-Slot Brooch + 'Other Things' which may or may not be different than it was done in other regions.

I would still put this in a pretty unlikely thing to be added category. One issue is that a lot of classes would be excluded from even using it. Kamael/Dwarves/Ertheia can't have most of their main classes as dual classes, otherwise it would create impossible class scenario only available though a paid service. Further complications would involve error checking all of the class/race restriction items/skills/quests in the game to support this service. This would be a giant project for our QA team to test through to make sure it's not breaking the game in unexpected ways.

Thanks for the info. I would just want to mention, that the prices last year were too high, and kept more people from buying.

Making these prices more economic for lower end spenders is a smart idea I am not sure why NCwest is so much more expensive as in USD$ per Event Item. You're not going to lose money by making event packs more rewarding IE by more bang for our buck. People who spend a lot will spend a lot still and people who cant spend a lot will still spend what they can and you will pickup new buyers. Overall its a good show of appreciation for your player base and loyal customers.
Also I suggest making a weekly or bi-weekly Q & A thread where you answer popular questions and sticky said questions and answers since it seems to me you guys are putting in more effort. Anyways thanks for your time. :)

As and old and probly current player of L2, how bad is your concern with keeping game in a healthy and balanced state?
Also with the Lab reopening, will it serve as only testing or also as a point to discover ninja changes and discuss old ones like bow/xbow critical damage nerf?
For two times I asked that to be tested and Juji deleted my requets even though they were in acceptance with the rules. Only 3 years after the ninja nerf, with my insistance making many posts he went after it and find out I was right about it (making many foruma trolls mad).
While it appears sort of simple at a glace like you could just swap the class slots around, the game was never designed with making these kind of 'Fraken-characters' so it's really difficult to build a compelling case to request a large reconstruction of chunks of the game for this one service.
Yeah Isis, why spend money and time developing something people would pay for when they can just sell random boxes each event for $100-$200 and make much more with no work?

Hello , can i ask if TANZANITE will be nerfed like in ALLLLLLLLLL servers ....? Cannot be in 50k dmg for 15 secont (per 30 secont.... ) Also u will fix daggers (the hit with normal critical dmg (not skils critical dmg ) giant augment + lindvior is for critical dmg (but daggers not hit with skills dmg? ) why augment and giant augment not work for archers also?? Also i hope the price of l2 store items go down ....... Price is so up normal people cannot pay , how u will make server balance if only few can took the top items ??

will we be able to reseal the 4 and 5 slot brooches for trade? it's silly to make us pay for new brooches and not be able to do anything but warehouse or trash the old ones.
Regarding the dual/main class switch - Neutron, I believe most people simply want to play the class they like most on Main. Many do it on dual now because there is more flexibility to change duals via red libra or even reawakening. If you really mean to do something for the players in regard to this, and if a dual/main switch is really not feasible, then how about just offering a main class switch? That can have same restrictions as red libra except that it applies to main class. This is possible it seems, via the item Stone of Destiny?

With the free-2-play introduction in L2, the no-lifers lost their status really hard, so cant dominate in pvp/pve, even if you have enough time for play without expend money a big wallet can over-gear you easily. Some ppl got bitter that reality

Topaz and Tanza reuse time re "nc west exclusive" :) check reuse time on other territories and then maybe u realize what "marketing" means for nc west!
Anyway one thing is for sure, the more endgame items through store the less pvp you ll see in this game.

By doing that, u would break the market for ppl who dont buy ncoins and make some others jewels very expensive.
In my opinion they should make lv1,2,3 and 4 jewels tradeable and lv 5 and 6 not tradeable but possible to seal like longing and insanity.
Also increase the reuse time of topaz and tanzanite... they are too OP right know.

Because server population is so small. If they want to keep it alive, they should just let people transfer in at first. If not enough people come in, and server population continues to be so small, then allow people out or just merge the **** thing.
I would welcome max to come and attempt to fight us. We have already went against at DIM, and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

The game is already broken and p2w, why not just put stuff in the store and buy directly what you want instead of gambling your money with boxes? The obvious answer is NC has no reason to change because people still buy these things every month even after being burned for months in a row. If people stopped buying them and complained about the ridiculous prices for chance boxes, maybe they would fix the problem.

Some people like to gamble. I can play one of these events, and spend less than playing blackjack. I can win at blackjack quite a bit, but I lose more times than not ofc. At least losing at an event here, you still have something to show for it, as long as the servers are still up. Losing at a casino, you don't get anything once you lose. Here if you don't get top item, you have still upgraded your toon one way or the other, and you can enjoy your toon for as long as you want every day.

And yet that's exactly what they did last year when they came out with the 5 slot brooch. You couldn't trade/transfer the 2-4 slot brooches then. Never underestimate NCSoft's ability to do the ridiculous. :)

Here if you don't get top item, you have still upgraded your toon one way or the other, and you can enjoy your toon for as long as you want every day.

Regarding the dual/main class switch - Neutron, I believe most people simply want to play the class they like most on Main. Many do it on dual now because there is more flexibility to change duals via red libra or even reawakening. If you really mean to do something for the players in regard to this, and if a dual/main switch is really not feasible, then how about just offering a main class switch? That can have same restrictions as red libra except that it applies to main class. This is possible it seems, via the item Stone of Destiny?

The rpg game system works with the system of short-compensation, rewarding the player trough breaking the main goal of the game into little achievements to keep the player satisfaction high, passing the felling of progression each stage he complete.
This achievements are marked by the levels you get, the skills you learn, the equipment you have, the quests and instances you finished, etc.So to keep the player satisfaction, he much think all time spent are worth and believe he can reach his goal.One of this goals can be made based in reach the same level of a veteran player present in the game.
Keep the competition balanced between players is a good way too boost their satisfaction, making them more engaged in the game. But if the player feel that he's will never achieve the stage another player reached trough the mechanics the game offers, his probability to leave the game are higher.
But that's not a concern for Ncsoft, at least on l2, since they will launch two new games next year (line age eternal and line age revolution), one to mobile and one to PC. So i hope your voice reach them, but at this point this is more unlikely to happen.

I believe the l2 revolution may get drowned alongside other mobile mmos even with the consistent growth of the mobile game market around the world.
I risk to say l2 eternal may get the attention of many players, at least the play through of the first Korea cbt catch my interest in the system they implement. Play switching a group of 4 characters seems nice and the progression puts the player into more action than you would see in lost ark for example, who focus more on put you in a dynamic history driven environment, at least that was my perception between them.
And yes, focus on the middle segment of players that spend on the game might work, but that would need the insertion of new players to the game, and with the actual system that not seems possible.
Lineage 2 actually is a game that only old enthusiastic players have interest to adventure.New players have a vast numbers of mmo today more appealing than lineage 2 and not so aggressive in terms of money investment on the game.
So whoever comes to enjoy the game either are a private player that want to road on the official or a old player that want to revive the felling's he or she had on the past.
Having already played Lineage 2 Revolution I can tell you that it is going to get drowned out in the crowed like the rest of the Mobile RPG's, there is nothing in the game that makes it stand out at all.

I spend a lot of money on this game. Am I an idiot? I don't think so, my wife doesn't think so, and my 4 kids don't think so. I spend it because I can. If my financial status were to change to where it would be detrimental to my family or I, then I would stop spending this money.

With the free-2-play introduction in L2, the no-lifers lost their status really hard, so cant dominate in pvp/pve, even if you have enough time for play without expend money a big wallet can over-gear you easily. Some ppl got bitter that reality

People aren't talking about winning, they are talking about having the chance to play normally, getting drops/going to parties/compete with others w/o having to pay all the time for every little boost here and there. If you can't see it, the gap between the tiers is huge, getting bigger after every update. More and more items exclusive to top spenders, rendering people who can't afford even the more basic items than these, unable to compete for anything. The analogy is not correct because people are playing a game, not a real-life simulation, I hope you see the difference. Advices like "you should play support" (which if you are going to play, need also much gear, only difference is weapon might not be that much relevant or offensive brooch jewels, i.e all need proper set/jewels/brooches) and not play the class you actually like are stupid, you are trying to make people stop playing what they like and losing any will to play or what? Yeah if they raise the minimum level for things like olympiad, why not 105 then, what's so special on 100 or 101, both are extremely low level anyway? Just wanted to thank you for the way you resolved problem with elcyum shortage :). Now seems we have more less enough of supply of that material.
Since you guys listen to advice's. Read another one . Alchemy needs a little bit tweaking.
One of them is Giant ls . 50 Tempest stones need to get rid of that zero. And it will still be reasonably expensive Life stone.
And to be honest remove 24 hour limit on master alchemy. We are not in Korea :). This limit is pointless. That's all for this time.

2. Im not teaching you how to play that game...but there are some things with or without money you need to have...few box chars, 2-3 friends to play with :) and some brain to choose a class which you can play(we all want a Tesla car...but in the end we can afford just a volkswagen polo).

-quest brooch 3 slots
-bless apo weapon 2 sa +6 300 element
-coc jewels+istina nec+octavis enhanced warior ring+octavis ring

With this setup you can pve very good: duo k95, baylor,cc,balok,k99, farm in hellbound, farm dimensional rift, farm giants, etc. allready 4-5h of playing daily.
Oh, i get it...with this setup you cant be pvp king of the jungle of the server :).True. Also you cant pve in some areas like AF :). Also true.

Its not my setup, its just an example of very low items and high benefits in game. Practic this is minimum setup to do things i wrote up there.

While I don't play in ncwest servers but in Core, the problems are the same. I am already lv 105 stacked feoh with every item I need and lv5/4 jewels so i am talking as someone who is not running around naked. Getting feed from 85lv ertheias is a problem? If they raise the level to 100 its not much different, lv100 is doable in a day or two, so they will get their feeds. Which means the system needs to be changed, not the level requirement. The same is when people actually believe that they are nerfing the adena and drop rate because of bots. Sheesh its obvious when you nerf like that, that you actually create demand, which means that more people are gonna bot and are gonna rmt botted adena/items. You won't discourage botters that way but only normal players who can't afford to farm 7x time to obtain the same things as before. While I don't play in ncwest servers but in Core, the problems are the same. I am already lv 105 stacked feoh with every item I need and lv5/4 jewels so i am talking as someone who is not running around naked. Getting feed from 85lv ertheias is a problem? If they raise the level to 100 its not much different, lv100 is doable in a day or two, so they will get their feeds. Which means the system needs to be changed, not the level requirement. The same is when people actually believe that they are nerfing the adena and drop rate because of bots. Sheesh its obvious when you nerf like that, that you actually create demand, which means that more people are gonna bot and are gonna rmt botted adena/items. You won't discourage botters that way but only normal players who can't afford to farm 7x time to obtain the same things as before. It wasnt about stacked toons, HarryelSuso said he cant play(aka pve not pvp) if he dont pay $$$ or become a hardcore player...witch is wrong.
So, the goal, my goal, was to fullfill a 2-3h per day of having fun in the game with very low gear affordable by anyone...mission acomplish.
If you play more you become a "hard core" player and its just unaceptable to have that setup :).
Regarding oly... feed its a problem. It was an ideea to change minimum lvl or to change olly only for exhalted to limit feeding. if you have other ideas you are welcome :).
Non paying customers have too high expectation...you cant satisfy the "need" of a 9x lvl nacked toon to win over a 10k paying customer. Its imposible. :)

Let me explain you something about othell...
Its first of all cw character (if you ever play in such servers like innova with russian guys)
than you will see there that othells are not counted as dds... its mostly cw and stun/debaffs maker...
So this gear is 5 time more suitable for othell rather than for anyone else (othell dont even need p atk lol) so weapon +++ give them lowest bonus amoung all classes...
About good wynns wuth such events which can do everything? Really lol...
Thats why when I enter k99 with such wynns every boss hit only my dagger from start till end lol... I cant even hit from back lol... :p

I also really like the idea of individual jewel sales (think 80-ncoin each, and I'd happily purchase 1000 rubies) rather than having to ride on a wave of RNG and buying hundreds of boxes to juggle in Giran for weeks. Something, anything to diversify our options so I don't feel like I'm pouring thousands of dollars into a sieve with the hopes I catch the few thimbles of water I actually want.

They will not make the brooch jewels a permanent item on store for one good reason called the rule of supply and demand, if you put an item and its is available anytime for a person you will cut the demand for that item which will make that item no longer profitable but if you will make an item only be available twice or thrice a year you will create a demand for it that every time you sell that certain item people will panic buy which in return gives a lot of profit. That is the only strategy ncwest is doing right now if you notice the trend this month they will do a pay to win event so after people will cry about pay to win and shiit then next month they will do a subtle event like lets say red libra then on march they will do another pay to win like the dragon eggs or whatever its called and they will put the reward items which are currently in demand in the servers which will entice all the players to play :D :D

you have to understand his mentality. I farm even more points, on my olympiad lv85 GE farmers I usually gain 30 points (and lose same ofc), if you have 5 toons you get magically 150 points gained per week.

I think you guys really need to look at the skill reuse of topaz. Since level 6 topaz gives a small chance to 1 shot someone, it's just more proof that it wasn't intended to have a 30s cooldown, but a 3 minute cool down like every other region.

I have level 4 of both. I would not be upset if they changed it how it is meant to be. Let people complain, whoever bought them would have bought them even if they had 3 min cooldowns.

The beauty of this is, people don't dare not to buy now, since their enemies might buy now. And they won't dare not to buy in summer, since their enemies will certainly get the better Brooch in summer. Knowing fully well what's going on people will still pay now and pay again in 6 months. Topaz and Tanza re 3 mins re-use on every l2 territory except nc west, they did a mistake? a marketing trick? doesnt really matter now, unless they change re-use time to 3 mins prepare for mass quits in nc west servers when lvl 6 jewels come here. They dont have to explain on any player who bought tanza and topaz with the 30 secs reuse, as long as the game ll be more balanced and fun for everyone, so instead of loosing players, they should change re-use times immediately.

This is a bit difficult to answer from here, but make sure that you are talking to the race master NPC in talking island Administration Office to start the quest. There should be no level cap on the class change quest. But my best guess is the error message you are getting is from talking to the incorrect NPC.
If you still see an issue with it, please contact support on it so we can gather more information.

Sounds to me like the jewel powder will come with the jewels. So you get 1/1 every time.
Really don't want to be that guy that complains about everything, but if it's still 12k per pack, I'm going to have to pass. Sounds to me like the jewel powder will come with the jewels. So you get 1/1 every time.

Why does it feel like I'm the only person on the entire server with bad luck compounding jewels? Years later I still haven't managed to make a level 5 jewel. Level 8 brooches will be available by the time I manage to get one jewel to level 5.
Sorry I got something mixed up, you need to talk to Sebion in the northern side of Exploration Zone 5 to start it. Just checked it and it worked even at level 99.

Sorry, but we already knew there would be 2 items per box. 1 jewel box and 1 jewel grinder per box. What everyone is wondering is if the l2store "ultimate pack" is going to be 12,000 NCoin ($150.00) as it has been in the past for the same 100 boxes. If this is the case you would need to purchase a total of 52,800 NCoin for 440 jewel boxes + grinders needed to upgraded the level 5 brooch into a level 6. If this is correct it is going to cost $660.00 to upgraded the level 5 brooch alone. At these rates only a hand full of players can upgraded to a level 6 brooch. On other L2 servers such as (lnnova and Japan) the packs are roughly 50% cheaper. What we would like to know if the prices are going to remain the same are we going to get a reduction on the amount of jewel powders (jewel box + grinder) needed for upgrading, sealing jewels, and/or making a level 4 one.
Also consider this if you live anywhere outside the US.

12.000 NCoins for 100 Boxes won't cut it any longer in our region with the new introduction of the 6-slot Brooch trade option and the Jewel Grinders. Why? There won't be anywhere close enough of (extra) Lv.1 Jewels to extract/upgrade them to Jewel Powders. 12.000 NCoins in other regions equals a total of 250-300 Jewel Boxes per Ultimate Pack and they have more permanent options to get Lv.1 Jewel Boxes from both Mammon and from particular Reward Boxes from the L2 Store. Let's say Hero Coins in our case ... 15 Hero Coins for additional 10 Jewel Boxes (Permanent Trade function for future Hero Coin System).
In our region it's simple. They have to create a 60% discount or increase the amount of Jewel Boxes you can get to 250 from the Ultimate Pack. Any other way it will kill this Event and the Servers with it, because there won't be nearly enough nor cheap enough Lv.1 Boxes on the market to upgrade to 6-Slot Brooches alone ... not to forget you need them more for creating Greater Jewels Lv.6. Any Greater Jewel is good, so there won't be any excessive Lv.1 Jewel Boxes leftovers from any type.
Also I hope better succes rate for compounding them from Lv.1 to Lv.4. Not just for better competition, but also to make it more accessible for all of the Communities.

What makes you think it wasnt successful? Guarantee several hundred thousand freya bags were bought on all 3 servers bud. :confused: They updated their server with the freya event and people spent half a mil on that **** at least over here for the cost of probably less than 2 grand for the single day of work of implementing it lol.
on chronos ppl stopped buying that stuff in the 2nd week so yeah no.. maybe it was great crazy stuff on zaken server but not so much beyond that imo..
if anything it made ppl that are/were willing to spent money very reluctant to do so again after getting burned on the amazing freya but let's keep calling it a success :)

greed when managed properly is fine and even healthy as it inspires competition and a lil variation, when there's no limits it tends to be a crash & burn situation pretty fast - works for me as I always like a good bonfire and heck if worst case then w/e as I really don't care if this game ends tomorrow.

pvp dmg in pvp if there is damage to + 10% then it must raise 10% .... it is very simple. Say you have a skill does not affect Dark Ametis weapon or cry or 2xSoul cry effect

I'm wondering how much you GM's really care about the Status of the game social makeup .. How is a social game social with so many Instances limiting grouping for field experience ( xp) ?
How many events promos have been implemented on helping the New comer or better yet the low income player who cant afford too dish out $100 for 6400 Nc coin event items or for that matter $150-$250 event items which empower dramatically those whom new comers or low income people are trying too compete with .
What is your sound rational advice too such players ??? is it; this is not the game for you? reason being we do nothing too help you even your odds or increase your game play enjoyment cause we're putting you at a terrible disadvantage that we we'll never try and resolve so jokes on you if you like L2???
I know the politics of profit and gain all too well too have any real conviction that Nc Soft has any desire too extend the longevity of new comers in the game .. What do you think the %'s are of ppl starting the game and playing past 6 months after they find out about the large Disparity. New players that play past 6 months are largely those who can afford too do so .

I feel L2 should give us a Blast from the past event and restore some older functions. I think upgrades too the Dwarfs and Orcs are well over due considering the upgrades of the othell , yul's and wynns in recent years .
Overall 13years and still running I really don't see you guys honestly considering many of the thoughts concerns and or suggestions of players . You guys have made your fortune and it shows in the state of the game and it's management how much player concerns; concerns Nc Soft.

I've been playing off and on since prelude and I agree with you. The game has become all about credit cards. The events we used to see were fun and rewarding, now just all about cash shop. Instead of creating more meaningful gameplay, they shove instances and L2 store items in our faces. Of course everyone already knows this, there have been many threads over the years about this exact thing. I was against free to play because I was afraid it would turn into exactly what it is today. Stinks of Nexon.
How about creating more FUN into your game for everyone. I'd also like to be able to farm for gear like we used to. Party with other players in the open fields for xp and raids. Make people want to go do these things instead of standing in town waiting to do another instance. Get ppl out in the world so more pvp and friendships happen. Lets get back to farming in open dungeons.

Also did anyone actually ever farm gear? I know i didnt, the drop rates back in 2004 were still abysmal. I remember finally hitting lv 40 and buying 11 mil adena for $200 on sieghardt for christmas so i could buy plated leather/dark screamer just so i could grind as a dagger. because from 1-40 i had made like 500k which i spent most on the level 40 quest GK teleports that took an entire day, so my net worth was 0.
The leveling is slow? fully boosting getting 2.5trillion a day it still took me 3 weeks to get 102-103. No drops? The double drop rate is amazing, its still good even without, we farm all the 101 and 103 raids and make probably 3-4B adena in drops per day. Full r99 sets, weapon craft packs, full wep drops, etc.
Its about adapting, its a hardcore game and it requires an investment to not suck.
I think you guys have nostalgia glasses on, because grinding nonstop with no change in a field for 6+ hours was not fun. It was for a bit, early on, but as the game progressed you could only take so much TOI/AL grind. it was brutally slow and pretty much everyone botted with walker. this was in C2 and C3 even.
Also the jewel boxes, i mean i probably will buy 1-2 packs but if it was cheaper id buy 5+ the canadian dollar is not great ATM.

Been around since open beta myself and I do agree. There has always been a lot of potential in L2 but unfortunately the greed (After GoD launch, early GoD was great!) of ncsoft trickled down to the players resulting in the current state of the community. It compounded the problems. The decisions ncsoft has made over the years attracted scumbag players with the same mindset of greed. A lot of these current players could not survive in what L2 was in it's prime. I feel like you will get some people who disagree with you because they will not consider nor understand all of the factors that have come into play and affected L2 in it's entirety.
NCsoft could still make changes to uplift the game's current state but a lot of that has to do with Korea I would assume.

I wish there was something in the middle, maybe an Ncoin cap?? on a new server. either forever, or the first 12 months? i dont know, something to allow "donating" to some extent so it will attract all players who dont mind paying some, but not too much, you know? Then at least mid range players could catch up, to compete for end-game things to make the game interesting.
Also less rmt events and more... field PVE events sure... or something brand new. or otherwise market is flood with top gear.
There has to be a way to make it more even, but im not sure how yet, Ncsoft getting rid of PVP scripts was very smart, i think it would be even WORSE now with them still i cant even imagine.

Making assumptions is one of the main reasons you are a fool, besides you scamming on chronos, running bot trains while crying about people pvp scripting, and using bigger words to make yourself sound more intelligent than you are. The 2 top CPs on zaken are filled with people that played L2 before God. My CP alone has at least 5 of 7 players that I can remember played game off and on since at least C2, with some of us playing since prelude. It sounds like Shook's CP is the same way.
back in C1-C4 all my gear came from doing raids with clan and crafting stuff, later on crafting became more important upto HighFive.. this all ended with GoD as just to much changed at the same time and crafting was not really that popular anymore except for those pro raid boss farmers that have huge stock piles of crafting packs I guess..

What u guys did with armor enchanting ? spend 30 bilions still couldn't manage to +10 pants. srsly .. Stones or not stones +30% or +70 luck. Nothing helps. I know it not suposed to be easy or whatsoever but 30bilion for 1 part is a lil extreeme. FIX IT. :D .

What do you think the %'s are of ppl starting the game and playing past 6 months after they find out about the large Disparity. New players that play past 6 months are largely those who can afford too do so .

And the numbers about the game population are exaggerated I play the game anyone who has played 10+ years see's better than a blind person the population on servers are no where near what they was back as far as 07.

I geared myself through drops after God was introduced a lot of ppl did now new comers get stuck with free gear that's worth Nothing ,100% Nothing besides pve with a struggle basic gear in L2 is pure garbage nothing more.
I feel L2 should give us a Blast from the past event and restore some older functions. I think upgrades too the Dwarfs and Orcs are well over due considering the upgrades of the othell , yul's and wynns in recent years .
Overall 13years and still running I really don't see you guys honestly considering many of the thoughts concerns and or suggestions of players . You guys have made your fortune and it shows in the state of the game and it's management how much player concerns; concerns Nc Soft.

Couldn't have said it better myself. So many have yet to realize that it will never be enough. I came to that realization about a year ago and the only time I spend money on coins is for AF passes... screw the rest of it. The events are for fools that have gambling addictions and seem to get some kind of enjoyment out of throwing money away just to feed NC's wallet. How many still left in this game that are still playing can honestly say they don't need anything, nor want for anything more in the way of gear, etc. It's actually an awesome feeling!
I want +++ % pdef (not fixed), +++ % shield pdef, +++ % crit damage reduction, +++ % reflect damage, also please change tanzanite to how the ISS barrier will become in future update: +200% pdef.

I kinda remember that too, but now I never see anyone reflecting much on themselves anymore <_< I used to pop UD, reflect buffs and let archers and nukers kill themselves on me... now it barely hurts them.

u guys monitored that topaz with low reuse impact rly negative on some class like feoh, who cant self heal and have lower hp than any other class?

And it really just depends on what the objective is of each individual player. If you want to login a few times a week, do some quests, kill some monsters and explore a huge world there are 100s of hours of content available for free.
But if you want to dive into the world of competitive pvp, that is of course an uphill battle as you're now going up against players with actual years of time invested into their characters.

Please for the love of everything holy, make field xp worth it for people again. We are missing out on so much pvp, because no one needs to fight for hunting spots anymore. You have the ability to ban bots now, and the CIS country block will help a lot with keeping the game free from new bots.

Neutron i want to address one particular problem. PvP automation with Scripts. When player invest years into his character that's ok . I'm one of those 2006 players who have not abandoned game even in very hard times with almost to none online but few. Anyway my point is PvP losing its value as such when players in clans like, i mention particular absolutely dominating clan in Chronos, Nova and not only using 3rd party software.
If you ask me why i'm sure about it is simple i was in there i got software i tested how it works. How works widgets how Main assist gives targets, how radar sort out priority targets in mass pvp in fields and what makes clan superior in front of others. Before was used Zr. Today is used wlker aka adrenaline.
As an example is ceremony of chaos. There are few characters from top clans mostly dark elf race because this race considered as dominating, using scripts written to interrupt any casts of crucial skills opponent is using. Spam of them skills is absolutely automated.
Alright you gear up high end game gear and hit already hard enough why we have to deal with this automated crap also ?
Yes i tested bots i tested radar, i tested how much advantage it gives. But i completely refuse to use it since there is no point to play game this way for me. I believe People who do this boosting their Ego by domination or simply making this just to have steady adena income. Well i believe all this is done by small group of leaders just to maintain their RMT income.
RMT as such in MMOrpg is obvious and even thou i don't think its harmful.Its a way to move on. That's understandable but when Scrips are written to counter any class crucial skill-cast is very very bad.
As example Tank i fought in Olympiad- this is simply put it ridiculous thing i can delete blink skill for simple reason the script is pulling back to tank that millisecond i press the key. My toon even not landed on his foots :D . If someone will say "he's THAT good in pvp", this is simply nonsense. I will be also "That good" if i script up antibakstab to my toon. Daggers will forget about backstabbing me.
Conclusion here: in general what i want to say is Please Control Bot Usage in Big clans . Or simply restrict adrenaline injection to client(or any bot).
I don't know how you wanna do this or whatever , but control Top clan Bot abusers. Or simply legalize it and provide scripts to everyone so everyone is equal . and lets "Press play button" watch the movie.
P.s I know that any restrictions will make impact and those aka Big players donating a lot but everything has to have its limits. Give them a break when catching them guilty increase those holidays twice every time so maybe they will start to think after few months )) .

Fact is that since NC implemented their new aka current detection methods no member of Nova has been banned for any kind of 3rd party software usage unlike many other clans like mentioned in the below linked screenshot when certain people thought they could just switch to a different prog instead those got banned almost instantly. Any active player on Chronos knows very well these simple facts, where Nova got the message clans like KsK/Afrika & FuriousSteel needed a few more bans before they got it - feel free to deny that here but everyone knows the truth and just name me 1 Nova member that got ban since the rules have changed hmm ?
People rather believe they loose cause someone is cheating then having to admit maybe they are not as good as the person they're fighting / not having good enough gear etc. etc. as it's easier to stay living in the past and stick with that.

We don't need to prove anything, this had been the excuse of the cheaters for ages. This ain't curt case either. It's just that NC should get rid of the current pvp bots, even if that means to scale-down to only 1 server.
Big data has nothing to do with the crap hdp that nc had, which in ANY viable scenario, that involved proper randomized events is useless, as evident that pvp got automated once again.
Maybe you've decided to turn the blind eye, maybe you're part of the cheaters, dunno, but nevertheless, pvp got automated again.

It's Funny to see the only one who come here and try protect or said there is no BOT'S anymore is only you, While many players continue to report the same problems over the bots.
The most advisable would be that juji or neutron say if they finally controlled the bots or not.
We have gotten rid of the majority of players using illegal third party programs to bot in PvE or script in PvP. There are still those RMT bots that are left and are being banned daily, but we are already working on a bigger solution to them.
These were the last words of juji with respect to the bots ... he says that he controlled the majority but never said that bots was controlled 100%.

Draecke , apologies about it but reality is i know how programs acting. And i see that usage of those are increased drastically last month. Maybe you dont use them but many Nova members do. There are also FS members no doubt.

I can't agree more. It is clearly noticeable behavior change in pvp. We old dogs know what is the reason. Good indicator about it is Freeze to clean client because of spam of packets and checks and etc. If 2 of those are logged in coc it is literally impossible to play .
I'm against it; this ruin the balance. And even though i know how to use them i know how to script i know how to i will not! do this. I want this game alive it is nice to play without scripts and i will fight it . I will post about it and will try to point out anything involved with it.
It's very possible that certain pvp programs is not for public usage also. Dunno , but it has to stop now before it scared off all newcomers.

There is no doubt guys who working on programs for l2 is gifted and smart , but i cannot understand why to focus on bot creation which is destructive for game instead of creating something constructive for community. use skills they know to do something better than that . Why to destroy fun competition ?
And for NCwest management i just saying simple thing "PVP scripts" are back. I will not search for evidence , proofs or something. I will just say this
"Scripts are back" and that's it. what they gonna do about it is not my concern. I will play game anyway. :)

all I will say is that it's kinda sad how you guys purposely choose to stay ignorant on how behavioral analytics works as that stuff is being used in the real world for a lot more then just simple stuff like detecting cheaters in an old has been game like L2 ;)

you have to understand his mentality. I farm even more points, on my olympiad lv85 GE farmers I usually gain 30 points (and lose same ofc), if you have 5 toons you get magically 150 points gained per week.
