Yup, I failed 19 times to Desire. Eventually just said ** it and bought longing. Its just easier sometimes to get ready made. Count up the cost of your fails, add what its taken to get you even to desire, if that number is over 75% the cost of a longing on your server, you're better off just buying one.
This is completely normal. Longing is supposed to be hard to get, so there is the hard part. Note that we had them from "promos" in bulk and the price on market is very low compared to what it may actually cost you to make one.I know that there are some extremely lucky ppl that make it first try, but that's rather rare anyway.

It ain't top-tier indeed, but the chance when making one didn't change, since it was introduced, unless ofc you want to spend ridiculous amount of Elcyum fit 50/50 chance.
Also it might not be the top talisman anymore, but Longing is still a very good thing to have.

Isn't it cheaper to just buy longing, rather than try 20, 25, 30 times. Or wait until the next Abundance event, where they seemed to drop every 20 or so boxes?

I consider myself lucky in this game, but not that lucky. I've made two through the NPC, but it took me about 5-6 tries each time. I've also won 3 longings in events, but have yet to successfully make or win an Insanity.
Korean random is true. My dwarf has +15 luck, a nano +6 luck pot, a +3 luck eye patch, maphr pot +10 luck, a stage 14 venir which gives +1 luck and I still failed at making a successful enchant using +30% success chance armor enchant stone on Eternal +7 to +8. I failed 6 times so far and I'm tempted to just save up and buy a +10 set instead. It's just not worth the frustration.

1st try made my r99 gauntlets +8, with the 30% stone, on the other hand, i've failed every single enchant i've tried above +8, true story bro :(
well if u feel lucky u try if u not feel lucky better no try i failed 25 times not the same time to make desire my talisman is still hellfire on wh i purschase loging i made it insnaity with kaliel with first try :)
huh.. i thought im loser with 5 shots without success, but stayed desire:confused: now its much easier to buy it, way through 32 elcyums cost alot, if u failed 2 times - u just gifted its price to game and have nothing in ur own pocket:(

Bought a cheap R99 retributor just to pop something. +3 to +9 success. Will probably break it today. People need to lower prices on EWR. Don't they know we need an outlet for our rage at bad Korean random rates???
I know only one man who made all talismans up to Longing in one try ! :> Others fail like me continously :p
Yeah you should just buy it... Kaliel Desires are beginning to cost a lot more then they should alrerady in our server so eh...
Im maybe the 2nd then. made my first with 3 fails to longing. the 2nd longing without one fail, straight,so like 850m adena. Has been a cheap insanity talisman chance!
