The Lineage II Development Team is looking at improving the game interface in future game updates and would like to know which game resolution setting you are using.
The game was originally designed at a time when smaller screens of 1024*728 were more common and some of UI elements designed at that time are still present in the game.
If you have a moment please vote on your current resolution size or if you use something else, please reply in the comments below with that information.

That's not really usefull to know what is our current resolution ... My screen is able to get 1920x1080. But my game screen, is ALWAYS on "Window mode", far away from thoses 1920x1080 ...

Sorry if that wasn't clear, what we're asking for is the in-game resolution settings, not the monitor.
Neutro some use laptops some use desctops pc, and bought use difrent scren resolutions, optimal will be to not incres resolutions , and skill efects, because you force players to change pc, and ncsoft in that year will lose money. Me for naw i am using in game resolutions att: 1280x768, because may laptop has a builtinn video board , and i think this can be the lowest resolution, to wich you can play the game.and this resolution is not even listed in first topic:)
This setting changes if I need more than one client (or use skype/teamspeak at the same time), so I increase/decrease accordingly dragging the lower/right corner to change window size.
90% of the players run the client in window mode and custom resolution.
99.99 % of ppl play in window mode custom wide screen resolution like 1300:900...
The problem is for smaller rezolution under 1300:900 UI info(skill bar, chat, map, etc) is ocupy 30-40% of screen...if you can, improve this....make them smaller and also give us more options to customize screen info.
Usually I play using 1280x320 windowed coz I've got to use skype/winamp/windows media/teamspeak/ventrillo alongside with the game.
Agree with the post above that with resolution lower of mine it's hard to play at all, as some UI elements (such as armor info with stats) occupy too much space.
WARNING: "FULL WINDOW MODE" option (which is supposed to remove white status bar with game's name (lineage 2) and 3 buttons (minimize, expand, close) (as seen in Russian l2 client)) doesn't work and enforces my resolution to 1440x900 instead of keeping it as I prefer. Please, fix it.
P.S. I'd like to go a bit off topic!
the UI In general IMO needs a lil bit of improvement in other ways other than resolution only.
For example. Give the players more options to personalize the UI. http://imgur.com/a/XlpGd Thats how i would like to set for example my healer's UI
Adding debuff detection above the party members and bla bla bla just a simplefied design i made :P
window mode:
main screen 1600/1200 32Bit
boxes screen 800/600 16Bit
will most likely change this soon when I get my new gaming monitor & GTX 1080Ti but that is more for Mass Effect Andromeda then for L2 :D
Draecke pm to me when you will be have i will be have some question about 1080Ti
Basic resolution - currently 1124x717 (on 1920x1080 screen).
I have my 3 windows positioned all in right 2/3.
The left 1/3 of screen is reserved for reading either book or web and for watching movies/series.
Would be boring as hell to just play Lineage without doing something else at the same time (I've been playing this game for too long to be able to pay full attention to the game itself). Sometimes I even play turn based games on notebook while playing Lineage:D
1360 x 768 ... thinking to change to 21:9 screen, but no idea if game will work fine on it, can u pls tell many advantages/disvantages of those new screens for L2 play? Thanks
And the UI elements desperately need to be made resolution independent.
The majority of the game looks awesome, and I can do what I want without a problem... but I need to use some massive windows display scaling to make text in game readable for the distance I play at (a few feet back), which drastically reduces the playable gamesize and really messes up the fonts in game), or I need to constantly play with something like the windows magnifying tool.
If I could actually make the game UI elements visible without either of those (no matter what resolution I play at) it would be very much appreciated.
1440x900, 32bit
The best resolution for 22" monitor.
I can see Game, Browser, TeamSpeak list and notebook-txt windows with some info of la2 game (important location names, teleports, destinations, clan records) and etc.
I'm curious about people trying to run at 4K resolution. I currently play on 2 1080P Tv's. one at 36 inches and the other at 46 inches. I don't have an issue with anything in game other than UI sizes are too big. I have seen a Korean video being played at 4K and the UI is amazing. Its absolutely tiny which is what I'm going for anyways. I normally play with all 3 windows up on one monitor and a movie playing on the other.
Can anyone provide me a screenshot of them playing at a 4K resolution. I'm thinking of getting either 2 or 4 4K TV's. :D
Has the dev team considered a UI scaling slider where people can adjust their UI as needed to best fit whatever resolution they're running? Most games have this feature, and I can't imagine it being a stretch to implement.

This is great progress on the design and UI however I hope you understand that typically 90% or more of users will have a 1080p resolution. i hope this doesn't degrade the quality and experience from players such as myself who use 2560x1440 :) I'm sure any improvements will only increase the performance but it seems this game, regardless of the computer that's running it, has some type of memory issues. Sieges with max settings is not even possible :(
Poll is a bit odd... Most people, and me, and all my friends use windowed mode only since forever.
I use 16:10 - 1680×1050 monitor,
but with windowed mode game goes to 1673x979
Im Playing at 1920x1080 in Fullscreen Mode on a 3840x2160 TV
With the full 4k Resulution I couldnt read anything on the screen, so I would like an option that makkes the interface 1.5 to 2 Times larger and the Fonts 1.5 to 3 Times larger.

I have 1080p acreen now but looking forward to a 4k 144hz from Asus so if possible please update the lineage 2 menu for 4k before they going mainstream please.
windowed mode
slightly smaller then 2560x1440 so the window doesn't push onto the 2nd screen.
Some glitches that would be nice if can be fixed:
- When l2 has focus gamma setting increases making every other window too bright, really extremely annoying on 38" screens.
Please use the default desktop gamma setting instead of this.
- L2 game window unfocused still responding to clicks randomly happens sometimes.
- When alt tabbing L2 game window from any other application L2 window still can sometimes respond to click or even just mouse cursor position as if actually clicked the mouse but way outside of the L2 game window.
Same when alt tabbing and L2 game window looses focus while character still will move for no reason.
- L2 unstable/crash when other games use the unreal engine, some games do not cause it but some games do conflict.
This might be fixed by a setting for the unreal engine to make it run in a sandbox and block any calls to specific unreal API functions (pre-alpha games aren't always coded very well and might try use the generic pool without checking they are calling their own instance).
- L2 almost guaranteed to crash when any other game opens full screen (can mostly be circumvented by a quick ALT+ENTER to put that game in windowed mode in time but not a nice work around, L2 should be able to handle another game opening in full screen).

I've found it just as annoying the entire time.
I have been unable to find a way to switch client focus without experiencing the random off screen click you talk about. It doesn't always happen but it happens at least 50% of the time when switching focus to a client. IT doesn't matter what means you use to switch focus it'll still happen.
For me it's specific games that when loading will crash L2. Heroes of the storm in particular will crash at least one L2 client if I let HOTS load normally. To get around this I find that I can just alt tab out of HOTS or the offending game after it starts to load. Let it load out of focus then alt tab into the fullscreen game.
What I find most annoying lately is that gameguard thinks that all my virus protection programs are cheat programs and refuses to load L2 unless I disable all my protection. I run several machines with different virus solutions on them for various reasons and they all have the same issue.

Hey, Neutron, how are you?
My monitor is 1920x1080, but I force the resolution to 2560x1440 and sometimes 3840x2160. 1920x1080 is all very tight, no space
1080p on desktop and a laptop
1366•768 on another laptop

Integrated graphics have no issue with this game, unless your PC was built before 2006 or so. The engine is old. GPU is not a bottleneck, CPU is.

Yet you're still only seeing 1920x1080 as your monitor is physically limited to those number of pixels. So there's a bit of a disconnect here as your software resolution is much higher than what your hardware can display. So in your case both resolutions are technically correct as an answer.
Things might be smaller but the complete mix match of where pixels should be for that resolution and where they physically are in your monitor will cause blurriness on the desktop and in menus on a game. Although it does cause a kind of AA effect in games due to the down-sampling to 1920x1080.
If you want more space it'd be far healthier for your machine and monitor to just get another monitor. You can find +20 inch LCDs at your pawn shop for cheap. Bring your laptop and do some tests then haggle for the price. I got a 22 inch LG flatron screen for 20 bucks a couple years ago. Sometimes stuff will break but almost always it's something in the power supply or the CCFL(s) which are super easy and cheap to repair. My main monitor was a $400-$500 monitor that I got for free because it was broken. 30 bucks in parts later and it was back up and running. That was 8 years ago and it's still running strong. Once you go two or more monitor you won't go back :P
When i use 3 windows, (one for play with full ress not optimize performance and twos for boxes with optimize performance on and lower details), some times in full ress window change to lower detail options without my confirmation.
Maybe need fix that or add in options settings some way to save various customs video settings.
i use windows mode, but filling the screen, exept the taskbar and i usually play on differents pcs so variable resolutions XD

this is something that happend on windows vista/7 (i don't know in 8 or 10). but i can tell you it didn't happend on win xp.
(i don't know i some ppl still use xp or if you still can play lineage on win xp(on EU server you can't), but actually the whole game used to work better there...)
don't you think fixing the memory leaks is more important than GUI sampling...
there are way more important things to worry about with this game; at the bottom of the list is a few outdated pixel placements... like maybe a proper translation on in game content. or even better a new game engine!
would like to see a list of every issue your facing and have us vote on what is more important.
The actual game resolution is pointless, what your dev team needs to work on is scaling the in game engine for higher resolutions, specifically the menus and UI,
Playing in 1440p is right on the edge of actual normal play since after that everything is just too small to read or look at.
