Red Libra xp Quests

Since noone has made a similar post so far, here it is

Red Libra xp Quests have always been a great motive for us all to go out there and get some decent xp. Most places like Bloody Swampland, Feries etc were covered with active people killing mobs and not just doing daily instances and logging out.
What i would like for NC NA to consider is the possibility of making those Quests permanent. Getting 10-15-20% at 87/90 and so, on a daily basis, is huge for most, boosting people to those 99+ lvls that actually matter.
In my opinion, this kind of xp rewarding quests should be spread along all 85++ lvls. After all, those who still need more % per day will most probably continue spending NC coins on runes

I would like to read some opinions on this, see if i am the only one thinking like this

booyaka
most ppl did it for the other rewards and not the actual gained XP
The way is see it is that most did it for the xp
1 gemR or the really low chance of a pve/pvp coupon couldn't have been such a stimulant
After all, even the EV libra 5 was not bad
libra 4 in cemetary was really good for a 99
Not to mention the even lower ones
1/3-2/3 of the toons in the range 85-95 are probably alts (iss-eviscs and so on). Why not lvl faster with quests for those who can spend 30minutes on killing mobs and handing in a quest

And after all, all im asking is for them to consider giving us similar quests or even the same libra ones that give significant xp when you hand them in
Not any other kind of rewards as gems or exchange coupons for r99 weapons, i wouldn't want to mess permanently with the magnificent way that the game economy is working
You can boost yourself to those levels by... playing the game... preferably with other people.

We already have enough quests/instances for easy XP.

The problem with your OP is that Libra Quests basically become Dailies like the Daily Quests and Kartia when you make it permanent. The XP is too good to be permanent, given the time investment. It does not encourage players to go out and XP, it only encourages them to go out and kill 250 MOBs so they can get ridiculously easy, huge chunks of XP.

There are already quests in the game that give great XP. The BS quest gives almost as much XP as the Red Libra did for a 97-99 player (12-13B vs. ~16B). The quest in Seal of Shilen, when done to 200, gives almost as much XP as the Red Libra Quest for a 95-96 player (~8B, IIRC).

There is no need for this. Players can simply do what is already in game.

All you want, is something that takes almost no time, but gives ridiculous amounts of XP so you can get even more XP for as little effort as possible. It would simply be one more daily to do before you go AFK by the Kartia NPC for the night, to wait on resets. Lower Level players already have tons of dailies available to them already, especially in the low-mid 90s range.

There are already quests in level-appropriate areas that award similar XP to Red Libra below 99. The only reason so many aren't doing them, is because they can't be done in 15-30 minutes. They want hellacious amounts of XP for as little effort as possible.

Nice try, though, wrapping it up with the language of humanitarianism...

I think it's a terrible idea.

Your solution to people "doing dailies and logging out" is to give them one more daily to do before logging out? Can you not see the stupidity in this suggestion? Zero sense made. Please try again.
Go play Tera because this game obviously is not for you. Everyone can get to max levels in a very short period of time in that game.
Ye you're probably right, after all i've only been here since late 2005

Why wouldn't anyone want a daily quest that rewards players a huge amount of xp as you put it for minimum effort (20-30min)

Keep in mind that when some of us started 10+ years ago we were 15-20 years old. We are not the same people anymore, we don't have the same priorities, as well as excess time.

Give people the opportunity to level alts/duals faster, noone loses anything with dailies like Libra xp quests

People lose potential groups because more and more people are sitting in town waiting on reset instead of out in the [in-game] world leveling in parties. People lose time because they're getting in groups where everyone wants to "Save VP" and make the instance take 2x as long to complete. The community and the economy is suffering as more players leave the game because it has become "World of Warcraft," with none of the good things in World of Warcraft to make it attractive when played in that manner...

People do lose things, you're just too ignorant to see past your own wants and desires. Lose the selfishness, and you might start to understand how changes like this affect the game on a broader scale.

The flurry of Dailies and XP Instances they've added has basically destroyed much of the grouping dynamics in the game, socially speaking. It has done tons of damage, and it is a subject of constant complaints by players who have schedules more suitable to this game.

If the game requires more time than you're able to dedicate, them perhaps a good option is finding a game that doesn't.
Trenshero my friend,

A vortex of illusions is occupying your brain

You don't come off as a cool kid or hardcore gamer as you would like to portrait yourself. Your opinion is way less important than you think it is.

Loosen up, get rid of some of your anger and pride and put some effort into something else except lineage2. Life is great, go live it

Have a nice day
Played from 2006 till the start of GOD and quit. Took 5 yrs to get 85/80 and just returned 3 months ago and started a char from scratch. got it 102/102 in 3 months. No, you don't need the red libra quests and it's pretty sad what this game has become.

You don't NEED red libra quests to lvl up. But with those quests I lvled few of my old toons (bday 2006-2007) to 99-100, just for fun and I can do some lower lvl instances/raids with those. That actually helps other ppl too, easier to make octavis groups etc when there is plenty of "lowbie" toons around with good gear (borrowed from mains)

We're not friends, and I'm pretty sure I live a lot more life than you do.

I use this game predominantly as a chat box to keep up with friends and such. I don't "play" it nearly as much as you think I do. A lot of that has to do with the fact that the game economy and grouping dynamics has been pretty much destroyed by the types of things you're crying for. I don't play MMORPGs to solo 90% of the time, and chase some never-ending level treadmill. I play it for the social dynamics, and this game is now utterly lacking in that. The fact that you're pushing for more of this doesn't surprise me, as these things were introduced especially for players like you - while players like me have left in droves.

I'm not here to be cool, and I'm certainly not angry. My opinion is as important as yours. That's all it needs to be ;-)
