Hello guys, I'm new to lineage 2 and I'd like to roll ISS class but I'm not sure which race and starting class I should go with. Do you think It's good idea to play as a buffer? And what are cons and pros of each class? Thanks alot.

Welcome, Iss is a nice class to play...here some facts:
pro
-you have buffs all the time
-usualy you find party, ppl love you ..deh, you give buffs.
-you dont need to invest gazilions adena in gear
-all iss are melee fighters, wear heavy armour and fight with dual swords or dual blunts
cons
-you dont deal enough damage to do things in game solo
-to deal damage you need to invest x2 amount then a warrior yet your damage is at 25-30% comparing to a damage dealer
-ppl will ask you to give wizard and then warrior harmony, this can be anoying
Best iss atm and in the future update(september-octomber this year):
1.Iss Hierophant-101 special buff still a win for no 1 ISS
2.Iss SpectralDancer-103 warrior lvl2 harmony can be a win for second place
2.Iss Doomcryer-earth harmony, basicly wiz+war, can be a win for second place
4.Iss Dominator-good, improved with party buffs but not enough...not recomended to play.
5.Iss SwordMuse-good only for mages and they are not shinening now nor in the future...not recomended to play.
