What do u think about NCWest?
Best company ever existed in the western hemisphere.I wish there were more like it, sadly there is no other.

They do the best they can with what little their parent company gives them.
I hold a low opinion of ncsoft and that's why I refuse to play any new game of theirs. I only play lineage 2 because I first started in beta and there's emotional attachment there.
The korean company that I have the lowest opinion of is without a doubt INCA Internet/Nprotect. Their gameguard program is a POS that bot makers and cheat users just laugh at while they completely bypass it. Meanwhile I have to disable my virus protection and more just to get the stupid program to run anymore (HURR DURR YOU GOT A DEBUGGER RUNNING CLOSING L2!!!). Not to mention the various ways hackers have exploited the crap out of the security holes that gameguard creates...
This opinion is only concerning L2. I have played some other games of theirs before, but not for long, and it has been quite awhile since I last logged into any of them.
But for L2.
NCWest is a company that needs to do several things:
1) And this is the biggest (to me). They need to do a MUCH better job of balancing game experience with making money. L2 is a very good example of the statement, "Just because you can doesn't mean you should".
2) They need to be far more open and engaged with players. Neutron is pretty decent, but this openness comes from the top down. People on the boards here can only share as much as they are allowed by the higher ups.
3) NCWest needs to do more than just take what Korea shoves over here. Their market is not Korea, nor is it Japan, nor China. There are changes and settings that just do not work well for us here that work fine in Korea. NCWest needs to have the willingness to get those changed for us here, and ideally would have the ability to modify the game in some ways without having to constantly go back to Korea to get them approved and done.
NCwest used the L2store to piss all over what the game was pre-L2store.
I had 0 problems paying $15/month per account. The ONLY issue was the full endorsement of botting by NCwest.
F2P, while selling vita boost and cosmetic items in L2store, wouldn't have been a bad change. However they just COULDNT help themselves could they? Someone saw a private server website and thought that destroying the integrity of the official server was a small price to pay for some extra revenue.
The tragedy is how close they came to getting it right, and how easy they could fix everything but won't, by either
A. Remove every gear item like Broach, Shiny Shirt, talisman ect that can't be obtained in game, from the game and store. This would piss alot of people off, but would restore alot of balance and integrity back into the play. Increase drop rates from 0.
OR
B. Add every gear item ever sold in L2 store that could not be obtained in game, into the game. Increase drop rates from 0.
As long as best gear in game can only be purchased, L2 Official is just the most expensive private server available.

On topic: Compare to other similar game company in my opinion this guys are the one of the worst. Check other server and you will see much more support for the service you pay.

Can't fix it. They cannot undo the damage, especially given how much real money people have paid for this stuff.
Just gonna have to ride the wave out, and deal with it.
This is a good reason why subscription makes sense. When the game is "Free" they simply use that as an excuse for all sorts of awfulness.

You must be new to L2 forum. If you had read the forum postings and followed through, I am pretty sure you would have known both" Mixa" and "golemka" were only mocking and being ironical.
