Wouldn't be all that surprised, the XP has been flying since the update. Went from 100/100 to pretty much 103/104 by the end of the 50% boost, and I can imagine there are easily people getting way more XP.

Didn't know that reaching 105/105 while running on full boosts constantly was an achievement.Try doing it without any boost and then come brag xD

I dont get this attitude. Why do people care who spends what? I have a disposable income. I also have a house, family, cars and the like If I want to spend money on a video game, who cares.

No one keeps you track of what you spend, besides NCsoft that is.I don't personally care if you spend money on a game or not.It's about conformity and actually playing the game, which the handicapped spenders take away by abusing the "promotions".Some of us just want to play the game, not to pay it, stating stuff like having house,. cars, family are irrelevant to this conversation, coz you have no idea what the other party has irl and you may regret it if you actually find out.This is the downie mental state and way of thinking (to do it just coz you can).
How would you feel if NC suddenly decides to make everything 10x harder for the heavy spenders and 10x easier for the freeloaders?What if the "promos" start to give you only Energy of destruction and S crystals?That's what the game have become for the rest who cant or dont want to spend as much as the heavy spenders.I pity you and your faimily if you cannot understand what I`m talking about.
PVP is dead compared to what it used to be 4 years ago so nothing relevant really, just a lil bit of ego stuff left to justify getting expensive pvp gear and bragging rights :D
Cross server PVP is needed to get anything meaningful but honestly all it will do eventually is having History repeats itself once more ^^"
LUczin how come you dont bring your party any more, When we asked for 7v7 you kept trying to only come when MS was coming in at us.
Idk. We got tired of coming and beating MAX 7v14, then have them bring 35+. There was 1 siege we asked for 7v7 1 minute into seige until the end, but you guys were too busy with MS or something. I'm sure we can work something out, if I can get all 7 of our group on at once, which has been a struggle as of late.

In the past, Someone got ahead in the game by ebaying adena from Chinese farmers. The only money players were forced to spend money on was the monthly subscription ($15).
Spending $500 - $1000 to get all your brooch jewels to lvl5 and getting lvl. 4 abundance is one of the many reasons pvp will eventually die out (with the exception of the people who spend money on these intangibles).
The actual people who treat this like a video game (the non-factors) don't have any skin in the game so eventually the only people that will be left are the people with the shiny red weapons.

This game has been around 10+ years. Even waaaaaaay back in Chronicle 1 people were buying adena to +++ their gear. The game survived. This game has ALWAYS been some form of P2W... it's worse now than it used to be but it's the nature of a I want it now attitude vs a very tough grind game.
As far as tangible vs intangible, it's a matter of perspective. Can I hold L2 in my hands... no. This is my enjoyment, therefore I spend money on the store, boosts and the like to play.
That being said, I have level 3 jewels mostly, with a couple of level 4s. I have decent gear, but not +10 sets or the like. I dont blow more than a couple hundred a month on this game. But either way, it's my money. I own two cars (own as in paid off) most of my and my wife's college / grad school loans are gone. My only debt is a little bit of school loans and a house. I can afford to spend money on this intangible game because it gives me enjoyment.
I dont yell and flip out at people who "pay" to Porshe for a car, or Rolex for a watch. It's their money. If I was selling my children off somewhere to make money to play the game there would be an issue. Live and let live...

There was a certain hero on Chronos that linked 17.5K Hero coins in shout recently and another hero accusing someone of Botting/scripting when there is a video of him on YouTube actually Botting.
Wonder how long it takes to accumulate that much hero coin spending $45 a month for 30 day 100% runes.
