I suggest complete removal of all drops in Lineage 2, for the benefit of all players, of course.

I fully support such an incentive. It makes no sense to have any drops ingame at this point.

well pavel had higher drops but got nerfed last patch, in my opinion they should keep going this way nerf gog drops also, lover or remove lvl 1-2 mats drop/spoil at all you can buy them cheap anyway, remove drops like accessory parts because no one uses r-r95 or r99 rings earnings or necklaces, these changes should help to remove farm bots from game because if you cant get enough adena to cover your electricity bills you will stop bot.

Your ignorance is astounding. NCsoft already nerfed the **** out of drops and it had no effect at all on the bot populations.
Level 1 -2 mats are so cheap because they drop so much.
I'm using crafted r series accessories because I'm not going to buy the ones in the ncstore, I haven't had any drop in the few bosses I have access too and I'll never have the really good accessories because I don't belong to the one alliance that farms everything
the Original Post was a parody intending to mock posts like yours because the last 14 years has shown your suggestions to be highly ineffective.
The new player experience already sucks enough with the few drops that do occur. I almost got a friend into the game recently but they got bored and frustrated with the game. They couldn't communicate with anyone and they didn't get any drops worth anything. I managed to convince them to hold on till 87 before they quit. They quit because almost every single public group they tried to join kicked them for not having boss jewels, +8 gear and/or complete knowledge on every encounter. The complete lack of a detailed wiki just made matters worse for them. Newbies are supposed to be magically well experienced in every encounter without actually having run any of the encounters. As he said "I have no interest in dropping 100s of bucks in the ncstore so that I can play a game that is already 14 years old and full of bittervets who have no interest in the future of the game." He was fine with spending 15 or 20 bucks a month as most games require a sub. Unfortunately 20 bucks gets you basically nowhere when people are demanding gear that no true newbie could hope to have.
EDIT : In case you're wondering I started playing in closed beta. My oldest character was made after the wipe from closed beta (early 2003). I've played off and on since then never fully reaching end game gearing for various reasons. Early on it was because I refused to bot and getting end game required it because the xp rates were so stupid almost everyone botted even the "legit" people they just hid it better. Now it's because I refuse to pay tons of money in the ncstore so I can then suck up to the leaders of one of the few clans that runs the big bosses.
