Why isn't NcWest taking a page from L2EU's book?
It's more or less the same crap. It's more pay2win than you think and competition exists only due to the fact, that Ramona is a freshly opened sever. Go back and check around December or do, it will be as dead as Core, if not more.
There are positive things there ofc, like their premium account system, much better drop rates of everything, abundance not usable in oly, mammon sells brooch stuff, rotation of totally free events with paid ones and so on.

Second, While I understand what you are pointing at, It definitely feels as if NcWest gets a nerfed reward/higher price with almost every "event" that happens.
Third, Honestly Neutron, most of us don't really want to leave, but when the "big boys" script nonstop, laugh at us when we say they will get the punishment they deserve, and continue to do it.... It takes all fun from the game for those of us that enjoy playing and friendly competition.
A live GM patrolling once in a while would do wonders for the server, many of us would even do it part time for free, for the betterment of the server.
I understand some of these "big boys" are what keeps the server active with their massive spending on events, but they are also the ones who are driving more and more people daily away.
This game is truly one of a kind, I've been playing since 2004, when I was 15 years old (actually got it as my 15th birthday present). Its hard to not feel its dying, when everyone around you is "cashing out" and moving on to other servers/games for the same reasons I discussed above.
Ramona for fact has more GM's on line and the service from the company are much more faster. No BOTs. And for me more important. I can play from my laptop my 2 premium account from any where , just open my browser. No e-mail confirmation all the time. And the client is much much more light and faster then NC West. With 2-3 $ / day you can do a comfort game play with even a 600% or more boost xp and not only. 3 times i asked here for support and got a answer that "we can not do that" . 2 times i asked on Ramona and both the restore my mistake. Funny thing was i did almost the same mistake here and there.
And for them that support NCWest. I have to say smth that really made an imprasion to me.
When Zaken open, any one was able just to buy everything , even top end items , was just a matter of how much money the credit card had. On Ramona we can not buy top end items that player on core can buy, cose Innova consider the server is to new. That is smth.

top of that i know its ur job to see everything from bright side but l2 without l2store is like trying to run without legs.. the game is so handicapted and purely run around l2 store and even then u still arent playing the game as it was before..

u could do this CC and come out with ~5/6 r99 armor parts (full items non bound) ud be happy if u can get this in a month on current l2 with full drop runes etc (leaving out the epic raids but only counting on what casual players can kill aswell).

Big difference between Earnings and Disposable income. Also, pretty sure outside of maybe one or two countries, the earnings are still generally higher in United States than that of Western EU.

Luxembourg (the home of Innova Europe), Norway etc. are better than the USA, Italians have only half the American income.
The problem is, in the USA there ia a wide gap between the poor and the rich, while in Europe we don't have things like trailer parks - even Romanian gypsies are nowadays living in apartments. So those statistics don't really mean anything. A rich American has better things to do than playing Lineage 2, while a poor American can't afford L2Store prices, whereas most Europeans can afford Innova prices.
I am sure Neutron's superior beings are fully aware of all this. They have deliberately chosen to go down the road of greed. But since all prices are clearly marked on the L2Store interface, i.e. they openly say what they are doing, that's ok. If you don't like it, simply emigrate to Europe :)

Neutron, while no one reasonable will dispute the validity of regional market pricing differences, there are some extremely valid arguments as to why other markets have better services.

That's not a bad idea, however I would think making the shiny shirt skills unusable in oly as well is a better one. You know, OP things you cant get ingame shouldn't be able to ruin every aspect of the game.

This is the big one. This one simple little change of making unobtainable items obtainable will validate the NCstore as a premium option instead of a private server donator status maker. Doing this for broaches, shirts, ect, makes better service #2 not even necessary.

I am actually not at all opposed to the buy option for events. That being said, similar to my point above, why are there events at ALL where you cant get the items from some game machination? Just for example the shirts, the only way to get them or the b. enchants, is to buy them. A great solution to this is to add this type of stuff to raid boss drop tables, and FFS, drop rates man! We consistently farm epics, with +300% drop runes and get ....an appearance stone!
We get ****** off at things like this and health care, where for some reason EU gets to pay less and get more.
Ofc, if there is a reasonable logic as to why we cant have some/all of the same options here as they do in EU while we try our best to help support a supposedly smaller GM crew, just please let us know.

The funny thing is that a lot of ppl from UE (no one in Europe says EU :rolleyes:) still play L2 on there, including me, paying what other rich (:confused:) ppl for NA pays. 'Till now.
So Neutron's answer went totally astray unless ncsoft wants to refund me for playing L2 since the beta cuz i'm from UE but I've paid as a NA dude :D.

Core is pretty much dead nowdays, Ramona has a lot of ppl though, but many are quitting, due to the pay2win shid going on there. Some ppl already got Greater brooch jewz.... and that's only the beginning. Go figure what comes next xD

now as there are many different Countries and as such many different languages within the EU it was decided to have it all in the Global mainstream language aka English which means the correct & proper abbreviation when dealing in an International situation is EU..

Yo Draecke. We have spoken on TS a couple of months ago or something like that and u know that I respect you, really.
The reason why I bother is that I have spent too much on my toons to leave NcWest L2, atm, but the difference on prices it's simply too huge to be tolerated further more.
Eg. Elemental Shirts
- In here 240 NCoins = 5 euro.
- In there 0,58 euro.
With the same amount of money
- in here u could buy 1 elemental shirt
- in there u could buy 8 elemental shirts.
Inn-ova servers have always run better. The community there is healthier and there is comparably fair competition. Compared to ncwest...lmao there is no comparison between the two.
Go play on Ramona or Core. It was a great choice that I made.
On L2 EU you can buy power shirt in l2 store (for adena) in 9kk adena + enchants for 1kk adena each (no limited). You can make your own w/o donating. They are less ppl as ncwest but there only pa account can log box. Ah... and there are realy realy less scripters or users 3rd programs. Innova stuff like to use banhamer, not like stuff here. And those (boters/scripters) reasons convice me to moved there:).
