Armor for Adventurer

My Dagger hit lvl 99, now im looking at armor.. With the Adena that i have.. I can either get a..

+6 R99 Leather set..
OR
Get a standard R99 Leather set and some boss jewels..

Keeping in mind that i DO want to pvp...

I also hear that i should get my Str to 120, and my Dex to 80? Is this true for the Adventurer?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. :)

Weapon, jewelry, armor and dyes as last thing.

I would rather buy 2x 15% Crit. damage ring with some resist than a +6 set.
