No date yet (for fixes generally we don't know until they send us a build to QA), we don't have that yet. They did say they are changing it though, it was something that they didn't consider as an issue when it was designed that way originally but agreed with me to lower it to 99.

I can see your point, but XP Runes are still a much better efficiency over time for EXP. The boost pack for example for $50 is 30-days of time of course, but ~$50 of Fishing bait is only going to last for around 20 Hours of non-stop use (w/ Fancy Rod).

not really since you have to find people to play with and cant AFK xp over night... and the fishing is quicker 85-99 last time for 3 days... if not less.. sure you get 30 days worth but time is more important if you can get same result quicker
ncsoft needs to promote team work events either 1) battle tournament with tiers 2) raid boss spawns outside town like before

A successful month of lineage 2? All that's been happening the last couple months are afk macro, and people quitting the game left and right

Fancy Rod was incorporated into it, baits and rewards are different but it works basically the same as last time.

2.) Exchange Coupons for the desired level bait @Peeves
3.) Fish using the baits
4.) When successful get EXP/SP and a Chest
5.) Open the Chest for a Fishing Coin + small chance for an item reward box
1. Easy. Rune is for daytime play & fishing is for while you are afk. (Yeah, I know, you "macro" people have to choose what to do while afk, Shouldn't let that dictate what events are offered.)
2. As for Zaken, open server transfers. If not enough people transfer in, merge with Chronos.
3. Would be nice to have a way to get the special baits as drops when hunting, instead of having buying them as the only way to get them.
4. Good to see bait and Red Libra events coming back, but it appears there aren't any just-for-fun hunting events. Hope there is a major element of that in the 13th Anniversary.

That's what happens when you add too many instances into game, have click wars, and make gear only available in the l2 store.
Not sure how your solution will create pvp. It will still be the same weak players, no matter what server you move them to.
With you saying that the xp rewards have been increased is there any way that you can put out the xp values like you did last year? A little bit more in advance this time so people don't feel like they are wasting money.
You guys need to do something about the Zaken population asap. It came to the point where you need to open the rooms' window and wait for sometimes more than an hour to find ppl or a party to do Embryo, K99, Mystic Tavern, K95 etc, and even lower level instances. CPs aren't always an option for some people because of time and disponibility of playing in a regular basis.
Merging Zaken with Chronos is the most obvious option and should be done quickly before more ppl quit the game for good. Server transfers might also work if you're lucky.
But thanks for the update anyway. Please keep us posted on the subject I mentioned above.
Zake Server is a mix of players from all gmt....Merging ZAken and Chronos its not a solution.
Original plan is much better ...a combination of merge-transfer and that mean ppl can choose individually where to migrate. In that manner all servers will receive fresh players.

I can see where if you were inexperienced you might think that Nova and MAX would compete with each other if they were forced on the same server. However we do this experiment every 2 weeks and the result is they cant get each others pants off fast enough.
The ratio of people spending thousands of USD on their toons, to those not, would change very little. Hence, the competitiveness would not increase at all percentage wise.
Now, if your'e 105/105 and have all your gear, and done all your quests, NC soft thanks you greatly for your thousands, and probably thousands, of USD in donation. Congrats, you've beat L2. There is nothing more for your cash to beat at this point in time.

you must have missed the last 4 odd Dim Sieges then cause Nova & Max did some arm wrestling contests and so far Max hasn't won any yet..
- You ran an awesome event with +50% server setting.
- Offered a 200% rune pack for $50
- Then realized you could monetize that event, and offered the next event as almost the same exp, but in the form of vita that must be maintained at a premium.
- New offer of 200% rune pack, for the same price, almost immediately after a lot of people bought the first one, but threw in an amazing cloak just to **** on the people who have already popped open a rune.
- Also offering big vita packs as a special, be sure and get everyone to roll money into the last 2 months.
- Then (with a cunningly delayed information campaign) launched the Hiene event, only on steroids.
- Thus making all previous investments in exp, a super "LOL GOTCHA (money that is)!"
Unless you are 103 or better, if you spent any money whatsoever on any other exp event, you just got ripped off.
This doesn't even take into account the god **** shirts ONLY AVAILIBLE IN L2 STORE that anyone can get to 7, but don't think your getting 8. (Tracked 60%+ success rate on every enchant up to 7, 0% success rate at 7 going to 8 after 9 attempts)
I am all for donating to this official private server to keep you guys employed, but you all gotta stop with the rip off games. It is demoralizing and counter productive in the long run. You should offer your customers a calendar with scheduled events months, if not a year in advance and let us choose our spending based on your products and our wants/needs.

the whole upgrade process isn't part of Red Libra and never will be lmao.. if and thats a big if it will be introduced on the export regions it will be happening next update as part of perma ingame functionality which makes sense as you need to kill thousands of raids to get the needed items to upgrade 1 +20 R weapon all the way to R99..

nope not going to happen but soon enough aka next update we will get some crazy new headgear in the L2store which will give over the top boosts which we don't really need just like we never really needed insanity talismans or abundance lvl4 talismans or nevit cloaks etc etc..

The item can be OP, and if only the top could farm it, the game breaks a little more. Give peeps the access to this through L2 store adds more of these to the economy and balances out the power some.

You're right, they won't do it. But let's at least be honest about why they aren't offering the service. If they did, most players probably would not want to pay more than $50 USD. (Personally, I'd be willing to pay $100 USD for the service, but that's just me.) But because it costs more than that for us to re-roll and re-kit another character with the main class that we want and all the bells and whistles from various "events" throughout the year, NC will never put out a service, let alone a relatively free in-game quest to change your main. It will never happen. They want us on the teat. They need us on the teat. Keep that suction up, folks.
Let me share experience about main class change. Though it might be not the case, and freeshards can't be precise sourse of information, but still.
Once I used to play on a freeshard (hf chronicle, java), and was discussing mainclass deal with local admin. The procedure has been like this: donator changes his class to another. Using regular tools, admin changes his class to a desired one, but there's a moment that might be the case here, on the official server. Freshly changed main class had proper skills for his class, etc (btw, no restrictions for orc ol or gnome warsmith, just some issues with kamael inspector), BUT when he registered for oly and played it, he was considered by the system as his old class.
For instance, donator plays BD and decides to change for titan. He changes, having no skills of BD, just full skills of a titan, but in the end he becomes the hero of BD class.
The admin described and fixed this like that: he explained that there's some thing reffered to as a "noble list" - some sort of database, where RB progress, castle records, hero status histories are stored. To fix that problem of duality he just removed character's noble status, and then again, after series of relogs made a toon noble again, thus cleared his noble history and class bias.
Here, on an official servers may be the same reason: back in a day you could have had this service, when entire noblesse deal had been just a series of 3-4 quests.
Now, admins will have to remove not only standard line, but also look thru' your entire exalted series (make note that these quests are not linear), maybe even factions, ability points, God knows, maybe even revelation skills and thru' many others to change and register your newly made main class properly. Or maybe it's just impossible to make all of these procedures without having permission/proper tools of NC?
@Neutron plz think about the current drop rate not only for items but for adena also. there is nearly no income of adena but all npcs still want adena as there would be an adena source (e.g. Augment an R99 weapon costs 9kk to remove). Other example is 2nd SA on R99 Weapon. You Need many r-gems but they are too expensive if you want to buy them with the income you have.
The second Problem is that there is no Motivation to farm because there is nothing to farm. you can get everything from l2 store only. I know its your euro source but only when Player wants to Play and try to get better equip. But that is not endless.
I spend some euros in l2 store and to get next Level of upgrade for my equip I would have to spend some hundred euros per month. Tbh even when I could do it there are other Hobbies to invest this Money in. I think its not only my opinion. I see some real good ppl quit because even pvp is boring because there is nearly nothing you Need to pvp for. Only some epic bosses and this is a click-faster-and-have-luck-thingy.
IF the developer can remove or lower the drop rate there have to be something to do the opposite. At least every drop in an instance should be sellable (not like this armor/weapon appearance scrolls) and there should be a drop which is worth so that you could farm some weeks to get enought adena for new items or use any npc who wants adena for the Service.
PS: One start could be to lower Augmentation permanently to 500k or 1kk per try or give us every month a augmention Event for 1 adena.
Will I be able to change the dual-class to Maine-class with this event?

It took me a lot of months, research, testing, courage and talking to people about a reroll so I'd have fun in the game once again. And then a month ago or so I decided to do it knowing I'd lose a few billions on items I cannot trade, plus dyes and enchants.
I abandoned 101/101/80/80, all skills enchanted, dyes, exalted, face appearance, items I cannot trade and blah. Sold my Othell gear already. Now I'm on the new toon macroing 24/7 in hopes that in months ahead I'll have fun in L2 or quit for good. I won't dedicate my free time to level a lowbie like I already did once.
I do often spend money buying NCoins and I'd pay for the service. NC should work on main class change after changing the game so much. They owe this to us.

Main class is like who you basically are. If you are an Afro American , your skin probably is dark, no matter what you do , your skin will remain dark.
What you do for living that you decide what want to be, a doctor, a taxi driver or what ever you chose is your dual class.
Main class is main class of your toon. It is what it is and should remain like that. The stone to change the class for 30 days , it is just a way of Nc Soft to milk you .

and FYI, that stone was not to change class for 30 days, change was permanent, stone was valid for 30 days after you unbox it, so it could expire for those unwise who opened it.

We’re continuing to work with the Dev Team in Korea on launching the official 13th Anniversary Event, which is currently planned for July.

NCSoft changes the classes and make them unrecognizable. In your real life you decide to be who you want to be.
In this game NCSoft decides for us, hence if we are going to spend "1/3" of the time here, they should at least be considerate to aknowledge they have changed the game so much that many people don't feel like they are playing what they chose once.
I feel sorry for those who are stuck with 300b untradable equipment in their chars when they no longer have the will to play because NC changed that class so much.
And it is not only the classes change... the hunting zones change, what you could do once as class x you can't anymore. You spent some money to make you able to kill in that hunting place only to have it changed at NC's will.
My rerolling and abandoning a 101/101 I took 6 years to build is one desperate measure to find fun in this game again. If it doesn't work, well, unfortunately NC will have one less customer.

Bad News. That's a very long time to wait for alot of us. Server Transfers out of Zaken could have been open already for over 3 months ... and the rest who can wait will come later ... QQ

We as a community don't even care about the price for that special essence.
Make it cost 100$ but at least we would be able to get some high level support characters instead of seeing people quit because it is getting frustrating to not have support characters in the game for the 2-3 hours a day some people play.
You can not look for a support Character for 2 hours and then enjoy 1 AF Instance and have to leave because your time is up.
Example it is weekend and I am watching World Chat - for the past 4 hours - all I read is Tavern LF Heal ISS - Kama LF Heal ISS - AF LF Heal - Kama LF Heal - Balok LF Heal - CC Bay LF Heal ISS.......

You know well enough that here in NCWEST you eliminate any posibility to earn adena in game...
Figure for your self, 50 mil adena or so per day just to get the quests!
As you said many times...Inova have other business model.There, drops are not neferted in the way we have here in NcWest servers.

My opinion any support character need to get some sort of advantage. Not power oriented maybe more wealth that would attract people to play them.

btw this or not even your approach will fix the real issue and that is that most Western ppl just wanna "pwn" and not many ppl have the mind set to play support..
in serious clans it's mandatory for all DD's to have a support class as well so there will be always be support available and from there it's just a matter of making sure everyone takes a turn at playing such..
L2 isn't meant for the weak of heart and it also shows lot's of ppl sux at making friends and adding good support players to FriendList - gotta understand that the few iss & healers get to decide for themselves with whom to play and if ur dumb enough to not acknowledge that then well enjoy spending hours for finding such classes for your stuff ;)

That's a bit complicated. The main event pages you will find on the event page index (http://lineage2.plaync.com/event/main/eventlist?isRunning=CLOSED&tab=2) are indeed graphics, like a painter using a brush to write the letters of his signature on an oil picture. But somehwere on those graphic event pages there usually is a clickable button marked "p 파워북" which will lead you to a copy/pasteable aka Google-translateable text page. Plaync.com is an official NCKorea website - it's safe to click around and see what happens. At worst you will be redirected to their L2Store, but since you must be logged in to buy anything there is no danger of you inadvertently spending your hard-earned money at Korean prices (which are twice as high as over here).
The problem in this case is that the cut-off point for our version of Grand Crusade is different from the Korean one (they have patches almost every week). Since the upgraded versions of the Shadow/Kelbim/Tauti Weapons are freshly introduced at NCWest, there is a certain possibility that the option to exchange them at Elder Black has not yet made it into the Red Libra version we will get tomorrow.
Long story short: this is a question that must be answered by Neutron, who has the NCWest build on his QA server :)
Honestly, we shouldn't need to translate it. It's the day before the event is supposed to start and you'd think they'd release the info on Red Libra before the event actually starts. But I guess the devs are still learning that part of successfully marketing campaign is getting the word and details out early; not late, not the day of, early.
We'll probably find out on Wednesday which version of Libra we're getting. Right after the update has been completed.
