And after that, those 107 lvls come to forums/ingame and whine about 101 lvl legit people do not want pvp and hiding. Well, may be it is because you boosted yourself too much with $$$?

This is one category of L2 players.
Second category make billions booting with low level chars and NCsoft do nothing vs them. This way they can buy everything! In all this time normal players make Tauti (even epic) or other instances and get 1 appear as drop or stupid scroll modify armour.
EXP gain rates while fishing have been significantly increased compared to the Heine Exclusive Bait from previous Fishing Expeditions.
Comparing to the previous event EXP per hour there is a significant increase for most of them, but not all.
The lvls from 90 to 95 the EXP in the new event is significantly decreased compared to the old event.
old event:
90 - 23,358,283,920 exp per hour
91 - 23,933,073,360 exp per hour
92 - 24,515,492,880 exp per hour
93 - 25,105,559,040 exp per hour
94 - 25,703,288,280 exp per hour
new event:

Don't worry, this is a common reward, plenty of these will be around.
I sense that many people will park their cars this month to save on gas and eat many tuna cans with rice to save on groceries... to make the most of this event. :rolleyes:
I mean, what average adult or teen can afford to spend 300+€ a month on a game? As if the gap between the handful of hardcore donators and the rest 80% of players wasn't big enough already in terms of items now comes also the lvl.
I'm not b*tching about premium content for those who pay, I'm b*tching about the abysmal unbalancing effect that directly reflects on game play. I know and play many f2p games that make a bazillion times more money per day than l2 makes in 1 month just by exclusively selling appareal and other non factor type of items in their games. Take a look at league of legends, for example.
You are losing players at an alarming rate due to this unbalance, yet you keep betting on the same tactics. This game will soon end by your own fault. And what a shame. It's a game with such potential. The right community team and developer team would bring this game up at ease.
Costumer support is a joke. The GMs that solve the 1st line of tickets know 0 about the game or ingame items.
Develop team doesn't exist. You probably have just an IT dude applying some patches sent by Korea and restarting servers himself weekly.
Your staff is reduced by less than 1/3 comparing to GOD launch year. And it was already pathetic back then. So don't come with money talk to me. You are bankrupt and everything is just going downhill. These past absurd p2w events are proof enough of it.
Thank you! This is the event I was waiting for! I have secretly been saving Ncoin. I skipped the last several item events. I have over $1,000 USD worth of Ncoin (80,000+) and finally going to get my main 104+ and my PK toon 101+.

Well there are always sieges, which are 4 hours a month. You can try to click faster on an npc to get dragons, there's some good content. You've been hero a lot of times, maybe you can do oly again? Well that's pretty much pointless now because they removed hero cloaks. I guess its good for **** talk, but when I can turn on my macro and go afk, why would I be at the keyboard to **** talk ppl?
what lvl 107s ?, there's an XP wall at 105 and these lvl105 fishing bait will not get anyone to 106 lol..
somebody here is very bad at math as 1.1Trillion XP or if you go all out afk fishing ~27Trillion XP a day won't get you very far with the current XP Wall..
nobody who is 105 will fall for that and only the very rich that have nothing better to do will spend any money on that, the amount of fishing bait & time needed to get anything meaningful out of that at 105 is just plain insane lol.
it's nice for the levels below 105 to close the gap faster though true enough
I made this point about 105 fish bait yesterday. Anyone who is 105 and spends any type of money on xp runes, bait, or w/e else they come up with, is a ******* idiot. Maybe if they give server settings of like 500% to the base exp, then maybe it might be worth it.

After the initial shock of losing 40 bait and getting 3 fish the rate has gone up
I'm getting 1 fish every 2-3 bait now.
The event is not what I expected , as I never consider you can lost your bait, after paying so much for them. I believe this event is not for everyone

Its almoust free anyway...here a macro for you:
1.buy bait and fish
2.get 80% rate boxes
3.open or sell those boxes
4.if open sell heine coins and 10% rate super boxes
5.repeat from step 1.

Why not just give a generic stew exchange item so people can pick which stew they want?

I was really hoping for the Legendary lvl 5 dye that was on the table last year. Since I am sure you are aware there is no reasonable way to get these in game (does anything drop them? or just the almost non existent craft rate?) it would have been really nice to have another chance to dump more of these into the economy. Also the immortal scrolls (untradable) help a lot as well.
For those of you complaining about this event, Id like to once again use that "math" thing to show you something.
Lets use lvl 101 for example as it is a less efficient lvl to use bait with.
26.578 Trillion exp needed to hit 102 from 101 and 0%
GC lower: 7 man party
EXP boost: (+400% Last month) + (100% Freya) + (100% erupting) + (50% Leona) + (35% Clan buff) = around $4 an hour for less than 1.8 billion exp per mob (around 1.6 bil)
Kill rate: 1 every 5 sec = 720/hour
This would take about $100 in supply's and just over 23 hours of non stop grinding at this pace to hit 102. Keep in mind, any interruption will slow down this pace and cost you more.
If you make $10/hr (you probably aren't playing L2 very well), you will gross $230 in this time.
This makes getting to lvl 102 form 101 approx. worth $330 of your time and capitol.
Oh, and you wont get any drops or adena worth mentioning in this period.
Conversely, it will take just over 17,000 bait to get to 102.
This will cost you $300 flat out.
You will have left over bait to sell or use.
You will have a fancy fishing pole if you so chose, or a decent amount of adena.
You will have 1700-2000 prize packs to open or sell, with a chance to get a good item. (Full disclosure, opened 2k boxes last year and didn't get one decent trade able drop - wtf NC soft?)
Lets not forget, you will also receive 400 hero coin.
It would take less than $200 to get from 102 to 103.
It would take around $450 to get from 103 to 104.
If you make more than $10/hour...
If you really enjoy playing L2...
If you are limited in the actual time you can log in for this grind fest...
If you need some R99 gear (lol terrible prize pool, enough cant be said about this)...
If you have EVER skipped ANY amount of work to play L2 for exp...
This is a great event! Its by far the most bang for your buck you will get through the L2 store ever!

This is what the L2 store SHOULD be used for! An event that actually closes the gap, offering a product that can absolutely be obtained in game easily and for free (no one is spending over $6000 USD for 106 unless they have the downs).

You're correct, as the bait item levels were adjusted this time around and Lv. 90 bait was removed to streamline things a bit. Lv. 85 bait now covers up to 95; and, while this means 90–94 XP gains are lower than they were in the previous Fishing Expedition, the cumulative XP/Hour time for 85–99 has been reduced by about 20% in the current promotion.
Can we submit +10 shirt reward tickets now so they are in the system for the 7th or do we have to wait until the 7th?

also, how is the weapon delivered? will we have to stay logged off for xyz hours to have it put on or do the gm's send it via the dimensional merchant npc?

Very nice players .... , log into the game to play , but instead spent thousand of $$ for items or watch a movie when ur character is on script. Maybe you are right , i am not talking about players , those ppl shouldnt be called players ;)

You may want to fix the event page before people get upset. Your normal rod xp rates per hour are way off. For example 85–86 85,274,937 4,093,196,976 That would mean you got 48 catches in 1 hour when max with regular rod is 30 and figure at 80% rate is about 24 your xp is showing avg xp per 2 hours. Always good to double check your math folks ;) .
Many of us, having same problem: some message dosn't show up anymore.
In Oly for example there is not message for the count down and not the winner message on the screen anymore.

I never needed nor I get fed in oly lol I just prefer looking steadily on the screen rather than looking on the small letters for the countdown for obvious reasons :) Also from time to time I watch some matches and it's annoying to go out just to see who won the match lol
