WHY I PLAY LINEAGE II

Dragons? Try to click faster? No thank you. Not to mention, claw fragments have 0.0001% chance to drop and you would need insane claws/mats crafting a whole weapon. Random non-organized non-bot clans can not accomplish this task. If they did ever drop, item goes to the clan's main CP. You will never see it.

Olympiad? What for? You get one-hit from players who spent 50k dollars. Olympiad full of scripts. (Same goes for COC). Zero fun. Even if you do win OLY, there are no cloaks and everyone over lvl 95 can world shout.

Sieges? Ok, but only 2 hours per week and most of this time is spent dead on the ground only farming fame after being one-shot by an archer that spend 10k USD. If you are on the Castle side... most of the time all you do is sit on a bridge looking at all your gear you purchased with real life money. That is kinda fun, I guess.

Raids? I just did two years, everyday... killing Baylor, CC, party k95, and K99... over and over again. Rip my eyes out, OMG, bored. Zakin, Freya, Octavius, and Instina are also equally boring and to be honest... the drops are horrible. I would say probably not even worth doing at all. Why? First, nobody really buys anything in the auction house anymore and items just end up either a.) wasting space in your warehouse, b.) gearing a worthless alt, or c.) end up sold to the NPC for very little adena. Try other raids? Nope, review "Dragons".

Also, hard to find a party unless you have a CP. There are many "solo" makers of k99/k95/end raids. Not mentioning, that in party search people are very demanding on the gear you need to have.

Moreover, why raid in the first place? Your 3 months of daily, OMG I actually found a party, raid grind fest is equal to about one very simple 4 minute 8,000 ncoin purchase.

Trash Talk? Everyone is away from keys! Most the time players are AFK fishing, AFK macroing, AFK farming adena for ncoins, or AFK farming fraction quest. Most of the time, not always, there is no one to talk too.

Is there any Lineage II content left?

YES, there is my friend. I never complain without offering a solution.

You can:

1.) Do nothing and quit game. Probably the easiest but no thanks.

2.) Full Role Play. No thanks.

3.) Be a slave and put in application for top clan. No thanks.

4.) Try to make a constant Party. Maybe, but not really into babysitting and don't enjoy having to be at my computer at a certain time every day 24/7.

5.) PK AFK MACRO Players. Yeah, now that is the ticket!!! This is why I wake up to play L2 now. So much fun!

Lineage 2 is at its basics a hardcore Korean grind fest. Even the players with 10k+ USD investments need to actually kill quest mobs. The trick is knowing their support can be easily player killed when they are AFK. With no support, the main toon eventually dies for lack of buffs.

All you have to do is:

Understand, there are 2 different types of bots in Lineage2.

The first use 3rd party programs and are usually a bot train. Kinda boring to kill these characters IMO. They have a program that brings them back to their hunting area and they never trash talk.

and

2. AFK Macro users. Here is where the fun starts! I just had 30 days of so much fun hunting the same player trying to go AFK MACRO in giants cave. Probably my best L2 experience after 8+ years of game play. I would PK his support and send him a message letting him know I found his new location. So much fun!

To kill these types of players:

1. Make a PvP character and flag them. If they have "/next target" as macro, they will flag. Attack them and kill them all. Simple.

2. If they don't fight back, they are smart and have a macro with the monster's name to attack. For these players, you can create a alt PvP character (Perma Red). Gear them with Nstore R-grade gear (80 Ncoin now) or gear with cheap S-grade gear.

I use a lvl 95 eviscerator. All you need is good fists. I use R grade fists and D grade armor. After full buffs and Steal Mind active, I use my lvl 52 summoner to transport the PK toon near the AFK MACRO player. PK the player and BSOE before SM goes out.

Rinse and repeat. A lvl 95 Eviserator perma RED with lvl 52 summoner for transport can kill just about any support class. These two toons take very little investment and provide hours of L2 fun (assuming you have a normal ISS for buffs of course).

Best spots to hunt AFK players, I found so far was Blazing Swamp, Hellbound, and Giants Cave.

WARNING:

Players that have spent real life money on exp runes/vit, do not like returning to their computer and seeing their investment dead on the ground.

YOU WILL MAKE ENEMY'S FOR LIFE

SO, practice. Practice makes perfect. You might die a few times. It's ok. Practice and think like a real life "sniper". Never take a shot in the same location twice. Be smart... make a few summoners for different names, use HP/CP pots, make spys for fast location checks, hit hard n' fast, and get out even faster.

You will make many enemies doing this but will be reward with hours and hours of entertainment. I promise. This type of end game is absolutely limitless. I hope you enjoy L2 again. Let the QQ rain!

Other Ways to Disrupt AFK Players Worth Mentioning:

For low level bots, just make a summoner and cast 4 x marks on them while the bots attack the mobs. They die easily and your summoner will not go Red.

Make a tank with AOE aggro skill. Go to the area where the AFK MACROS are hunting and AOE Pull, run to some weird location in the map where nothing spawns, and BSOE (Get 1 or 2 Target Cancel skills if you can instead of BSOE). Mobs will follow you and the AFK player will follow the mobs. When they've finished all the mobs they will just stand there waiting for the spawn...Now you can go back to the original location and take the spot. This works the best for afk Macro users.

Make a 1 man clan and declare war upon bot clans.

I hope you enjoyed this read. Feel free to add any other ways you can think of to make L2 more enjoyable.
A truly good read I must say, though killing a really stacked char with marks just doesn't sound feasible. Perhaps if it is afk killing mobs that take 1/4th of his HP per hit; otherwise it will just heal so much HP from hitting a mob that it will never reach that threshold when it can be 1-hit.

PKing an AFK support is a really good idea though.

Here's my input (interfere without going red):
Sigel 89+ chain skills - pull support(s) away from the main char.
Evis 85+ - kick skill - takes a quite longer, but also pushes the support(s) away from the main char.

Of course, the main point here is sending a message to these people. Making sure they know they are not safe. They will never be safe to AFK.
Got a chuckle out of me. :) Recently returning from a 6-year break and some of the changes made my head spin. Made a couple ertheia this week, and curious about staying entertained...thanks for the tips :P
