Transfer applications will be processed during each weekly maintenance period beginning with maintenance this Wednesday, June 6. You can start the process to transfer a character to another Server via the Account Services Marketplace (store.lineage2.com/optional/detail?goodsNo=5001000). We appreciate your patience during the extended period in which this service was disabled for Grand Crusade launch.
Please note that we're preparing a Server merge from Zaken to Chronos in order to address player population imbalance. As such, the Server Transfer service from Zaken remains disabled in order to prevent players from paying for a transfer immediately prior to the merge process. We'll follow up with details about the timing of this merge as soon as they're finalized.

- Do you already have a date in mind for the merger? Or at least some aproximation. Just so we can prepare ourselves in all the way we can in terms of market and what not.

From these figures i would conclude that Naia and Freya would benefit more rather then Chronos unless i have overlooked something.

well merge 3 servers to freya was year ago, i'm 100% sure all what happen there will happen now also (with clan hall, castles, heros, char names, clan names...) so look in old threads, you all will know what will happen when happen here also. Also i'm sure will be GMT time/name poll, so be rdy for bot invasion, sure also for the all what happen in Pre-GoD mergers and Freya merge will be also here...

Zaken will be closed and all remaining Characters/Equipment will be moved into Chronos without affecting the Chronos Castles, Clan Halls, Fortresses and such. So this means all Clans owning a Clan Hall now in Zaken should be refunded their last initial winning bids and case closed for Zaken. Players should be happy that their Characters are given a 2nd Chance in another Server.

This all sounds fair. If there are name conflicts on chronos, the chronos toons should just be able to keep their names, and zaken names should have to be changed.

Yeah I did hear some ppl wanting to go to Naia. But they did know the time zone before they started (I would think).

Those tokens wont do any good, you will lose faction in transfer mode. They should ask first ppl where they want to play as the original plan was (Neutron said it will be a merge-transfer).
Second, with a very sensible comunity i think you(Neutron and Conquero) just did a comunication mistake...Timezone is a very big problem since all things in game are bounded ...quest,dragons, high population spikes,etc. You cant just give ppl crumbles about this merge-transfer thing, You have to say all plan or nothing...and im not talking about certain dates of event but details how it will be.
We all choose a fresh start on zaken, we chose this becouse servers where we play were kinda dead or whatever reasons.
We choose to play Zaken even timezone was not so good (Now talking about my self ..im in a gmt+2 area but i said hey: siege, coc and oly start at 05-06:00 am...not so bad, i can wake up earlier to do something.)
Now after a short time of playing we are force moved in the oldest server, Chronos Gmt-2..for me is a big problem and i know many ppl in the same situation.
But again... we choose a fresh server, a new server....not a old server.
And its not our fault coz NcWest dont do advertise or marketing, dont adress in time bot isue...and above all, NcSoft lose some teritories and ban entirely contries....It is just not our fault.
After merge this game will become unplayeble for me and many others, i cant play at 01-02:00...usually i sleep nights, i rest for real life day job...

Ps: highest ppl action time on zaken server is: 18:00-00:00 Gmt+2/gmt+3..this say a lot, zaken in fact is a european server in wrong gmt.

I remember Neutron said they have tested it and all Factions were transferable? They were testing if it did work with the newly added Hunters Faction aswell from Grand Crusade. I don't know about those results. I hope Neutron can tell us.
About Timezones, I do realise that we need a re-work on that. I noticed most of our Servers have a more European based timezone fixated on them. What about the Americans from LA and Mountain Times?
Don't get me wrong. Chronos for me a Castle Siege will be from 0:00-02:00. This is alot better then 04:00-06:00 right now on Zaken. Whatever side you look at it from, unfortunately there will always be Pro's and Con's with Server mergers/transfers.
Thats why i ask Neutron to give us a chance to choose first...

That said, we had to let players know that the Server Transfer service has been restored, which meant that we needed to give some type of update on our plans for addressing Zaken's low population and why only that Server is excluded from the transfer service.
Our QA team is currently conducting internal testing of the merge procedure. This allows us to verify all conditions of the process, including the exact impact it'll have on players from Zaken and Chronos. We'll share this info once our testing has concluded. Stay tuned! :)
You seemed to have overlooked my question, server transfer will be applied with tommorows maintenance and a lot of my clan mates and I are looking to move. We would like a confirmation about faction level transfering or not. Thanks
Why not just give players free transfers from Zaken to another server of their choice for a few weeks prior to the merge?
It would allow people to select the time zone they want instead of being forced into times that won't work for them or a server where the population makes leveling take twice as long due to quest areas being insanely overpopulated.
The latter is exactly why I left Chronos just a couple of weeks ago.
All my old, long standing accounts got caught up in various changes implemented by NC and completely lost. Had to start over from scratch when I returned. Chronos was a nightmare.

Thanks for the info, however, during server transfers in MAY people who had transfered KEPT their faction levels. So how is that fair for people that wanna transfer now?

There aren't that many people on Zaken. Should be ok.

LINEAGE 2 is very popular in Eastern Europe and Brazil, but the players simply do not know about the existence of your server, I myself was discover it about it only in 2012
Not all time zones here are taken to attention
I propose not to merged, but :
Make Naya +2 or +1 GMT
Open a new server +2 or +1 GMT
Make Freya 0 or -1 GMT
Make Kronos -2 or -3 GMT
Make a transfer to Zaken
Open a new server -2 or -3 or -4 GMT
It is possible to unite always after
And give advertising in Brazil to the USA and Europe
This is very incorrect. We confirmed both faction level and monster book can transfer.Just as a note everyone I know who changed servers today kept their factions but lost their monsterbook mobs.

I don't see any problem for Players who want to leave Zaken now. Actually they could open transfers from Zaken to Naia & Freya and keep it closed with Chronos since we will be merged into that Server in the future. Either they will transfer right after a succesfull merger or they can go early now in the next couple of weeks before the merger will take place. Either way. It will cost you anyway. NCwest decides. You either have to wait or you can go early to Naia & Freya. I doubt anyone on Zaken cares for the outcome of this decision of Players leaving the Server earlier to Naia and Freya or wait for Chronos at a later stage.
I can't pick a server from the list. It's just empty (while I try to place my order for transfer). Every has this issue, or it's just me?

So do you intend on actually transferring anyone or are you just content in taking people's money and not transferring them? Because I have paid for transfer and met all requirements and have yet to actually be transferred the past two maintenance periods.

I have several friends who are affected and have only received canned or no responses from the support team.
I hope this Zaken merger decision was properly vetted and workshopped out by more than just 1 or 2 NC Soft cubicle sitters.
I get many d/cs on Chronos when the server is heavy with players especially when I'm trying to fish, and it appears that the other 2 servers would have been better merge choices, population-wise.
I usually have to avoid the prime time sieges and raids to PvE due to heavy scripts running, which I'm guessing will be worse now with more players using same tactics.

I have to agree why would you merge into chromos. The server is already heavy most of the time and merging another server into it would just make it worse. I think if you want to merge zaken merge it into one of the other 2 servers that are usally normal or light on traffic.
Why are so many players delusional and afraid that Chronos will explode due to traffic after a merger with Zaken? You guys realise last Siege it was not even 20 Parties in total in all of Zaken. You must be lucky to see 2 Parties per Castle Siege in our Server ... Well those Parties won't make a difference for the Traffic, as we all know after any merger a small part of those Players will either quit or transfer out to Freya/Naia after the next maintenance. *LOL*
