The Elysium weapon exchange - using my +8 Blessed Specter Dualsword (non event, not bound) as an example: Take your weapon, a "proof of red (from doing the event daily quest)", some R-grade gemstones & turn all of this into the appropriate npc who will then exchange your current weapon for the Elysium version. The side notes state, "Enchant level, Augments, and Soul Crystal SAs will transfer over to the new weapon."
My weapon stats are Patk 897, +300 Holy attribute. The Elysium Dualsword stats are Patk 931, +450 Holy attribute. If all of this is not too good to be true, final weapon Patk will become 931 + 165 (the +8 enchant value) = 1096 & the element +450 Holy?
This all seems to be too good to be true without forking over $100's in cash as L2 events usually are. Am I correct or is there something I am missing?
Ello,
The Elysium weapons got nothing to do with your weapon, they are event items, u spend 1 ewr to buy it and use it like u see fit, and they are usually removed when the Red Libra event ends. Dont know if u can exchange R95 weapons, but if u can, u`ll be able to change the dual sword into lets say a cutter, or bow or w/e u like, keeping its original enchant, augment and attribute.
Your english language seem to be fine. You have problems in understanding.
I dont understand how you come at conclusion that you change your weapon for a elsyum weapon....
Let me tell you clear.... as you read there, you exchange a weapon enchant scroll for a elisyum weapon witch is time limited and will stay as long as event is up.
You can exchange same grade weapon and keep enchant lvl, augument,sa,element...if you still dont understand here an example:
exchange +8 Blessed Specter Dualsword to +8 Blessed Specter Retributer

Then what is the "Elder Black Weapon Exchange" for? There is an entire table in the link I provided that talks about exchanging real weapons. Is that to exchange one R-grade for another? For example exchange R95 for R99?

Whats wrong with this ppl in our days...
You do not have to be insulting when people ask for advice or clarification. Ignorance is clearly displayed when someone cannot "possibly" understand how something can be viewed differently than you. Korean games have totally different mechanics than western ones. "International versions" are often unclear & the concepts in them do not translate cleanly in many cases. I could sit here and list many examples in this game, but it would clearly be a waste since you ASSUME I am stupid. =p.
Like Devoid said.
U can exchange your weapon for a different one of the same grade.
U cant upgrade R to R95 to R99.
Br.
This is what I needed. Thanks to you and Devoid for being helpful. I thought it might be too good to be true. I actually have no weapons I need to change for different types.

I didnt insulted you and I didnt said you are stupid. I just point it what you lack in this matter...and that is understanding thing.
Im not an ignorant but this time i cant rly see thru your mind how you came at conclusion that you can exchange r.r95.r99 weapons for elysium ones...pls do tell how or where you read that.
Lineage 2 have same mechanics in koreea,na, asia,ru etc...some items are diferent from teritories to teritories and nothing is unclear in NA.

New player seem hard to fullfill understand L2 system at beginning. I remember when I start L2 12 yrs ago. I must buy a Guide book ( from a pack included a cdkey), Plaync introduct about classes, mobs, quests and I need a months to keep ansking my mattes about same ingame problems.
Exactly, he asked a question because he didn't understand exactly how it worked. What I can't understand Plasteiros, is how the hell you couldn't figure that out?
exchanging enhanced shadow weapons r available too?
should be yes but let's wait for official answer as who knows maybe we get another NCWest special version aka something completely different from Korea
Two more weeks and we'll get to see if there are any special twists, or just the same old same.
On the one hand I don't want them getting too creative, but it would be nice if they added something like a Main Class de-level quest, which, once completed, rolls your character all the way back to level 19 and strips it of its class designations, skills, EXP and SP with additional penalties. The first penalty is that you cannot switch to your dual or subclasses until your main class reaches the same level of your highest level on all classes (original main level, dual or subclass). The second penalty is that you cannot use Fortune Pockets to level the character, or normal NPC bought Expertise Runes. (Not even the 30 Day expertise rune pack from the L2 store.) The third penalty would be that you can't use any item that boosts your XP rate. Not Paulina equipment, runes, pots, Heine fishing bait, clan bonuses, or blessings of any kind. The fourth penalty is that your Vitality remains at 0.00 until your character attains the highest level of all of your character's classes, and you can't increase it with birthday pots, vitality pots that drop from mobs, or any store bought items. The last penalty is that you receive 0 XP and SP for raids, although you do get raid points. Finally, and most importantly, the quest has a sell-by date. The NPC that offers this quest and class renewal items are part of the Red Libra crew. If the Red Libra event ends before you successfully level up your character back to its highest level again, you have to wait until the next Red Libra event to complete it. That's IF they decide to host another Red Libra event. (Muhahahahaha!)
