What's going on with all the bans? NcSoft giving no/canned responses to inquiries made about seemingly innocent accounts being banned. I know of several friends who have their accounts locked, that havent been ingame much for close to the last 30 days.
Did a ban protocol get screwy? What's going on? Official response?
No, accounts are being locked automatically. That's all I can tell of this matter.
As long as your friends are outside blocked countries, they can write to CS (the one where you don't need to login, namely [email protected]) and, after ownership confirmation, the accounts will be unlocked.
Note that having your account unlocked doesn't mean it will not get automatically re-locked in the near future. Just repeat the inquiries; after 3 unlocks you should be good to go.
That's the issue, with the account being locked, you can't login to send a ticket. I'm bringing this up because the problem is extremely widespread and so far for about 3 days, NOTHING has been answered or done about it.
And what responses have been sent, the canned "You were associated with 3rd party programs, RMT, etc etc, and the decision is final"
One of the effected people is my clan leader of our lvl 11 clan, she hasnt been able to even play with us for a month...
I got hit and it took 2.5 days for them to finally "completely reverse the action, sorry for the inconvenience." My friend got IP ban and they gave him a final warning which is complete BS because he did nothing wrong. I sent a pretty nasty ticket and the responses I kept getting seemed like they had no idea what happened.
