Life is simple.
There are two different types of people in the world. One with addiction and the other without addiction. People without any addiction, they do O.K. with life. They do normal stuff like...get a job, get married & start a family, buy a house...etc. and they derive pleasure from the real stuff in life. Whereas...I see people with some serious addiction problems, and they all don't do O.K. with life. I see alcoholics spending all the money for booze. It doesn't matter how much money they have in their pocket. If they have $5 dollars, they spend that $5 dollars for alcohol. $10? they spend that $10 dollars for booze again. It doesn't matter how much really...$20, $50, $100...they all spend all their money for booze; but when the time comes to buy the groceries or winter clothes...they simply don't have the money to buy those real life essentials...and some of them choose to spend the rent money for booze and get kicked out of their apartments to become homeless, LOL? The situation is the same with the people having drug addiction or gambling addiction. Their reasoning skill still works and they know what they should be doing...but when the time comes to act, their reptilian brain always wins and they have no control over their life.
I haven't logged in for over 2 months now. I used to play everyday a lot and Lineage2 was, at some point in my life, my #1 priority of life, but not any more... I think I will still play Lineage2 as a hobby, logging in every now and then but that's about it. The #1 priority of life should be myself, family, exercise, my work and #2 friends and real life hobbies and only then #3 can be games like Lineage2.
I will still play some Nstore events whenever I see a good one just a little bit for fun, but that's about it. I like going to a restaurant to treat myself every now and then and all I gotta do is to go to a restaurant one less time a month. Spending just a little bit of money for any hobby is normal and should be O.K. I think.
Lineage2 is only a game.
