3 days ago I had 3 accounts locked including my main toon Healfast witch is always at CH or doing stuffs with my CP because an ALT of mine was AFK XP using IN GAME MACRO.
My macro was simple like that:
/targetnext
/attack
/pickup
/useskill Air Light
According to them my "account was given a sanction due to exploitation - abuse of bugs or unintended gameplay to gain benefits beyond what it's intended for all users".
So they provide a IN GAME MACRO with a INFINITY LOOPING feature, provide you a lot of in game commands such "/targetnext", "/attack", "/useskill" and "/delay x" but they don't want you to use those command to AUTO HUNT.
That's interesting given that we got this statement from Neutron on May 5th in a topic "Another question for Neutron"
It's not against the rules since the game allows it without any 3rd party tools. It would absurd to add a macro system like that as a 'Honey Pot' and then ban people for using it.
I still believe the you make some other stuf instead just afk macro... stufs as virtual machine , keyboard/mouse macros and etc... in end you may get ban even if you not use personal illegal stuffs but you are in party with someone who use them... NC West is well know the they ban full afk pt+all online chars form same IP just because one of that pt is "bot"...
Heal, how many characters were in that macro party? 3? Or more?
Were all party members your own characters or were you afk exping together with clan mates/strangers? Like Staroto said, you can't know what other players are doing at their computer.
Or maybe the /pickup is the problem. Maybe your character picked up that famous invisible item which GMs use to check for bots.
Even if in-game macros are technically legal, it's unwise to use them for anything more than auto-buffing. Your character can get you into serious trouble if you are not constantly watching it.
Impossible I have 10 accounts always doing macro with the same l2 and I never get banned because I do not use external programs
* If you use a gamer keyboard with macros = ban is 100% confirmed
* Third party software to automate the game = prohibition
You will never have a ban if you play 100% legal. that's all and finish

this is not exactly true. have encountered many mistakes and glitches on nc's part over the years and periodically get blocked... then get a mail saying they r sticking to their decision, and ONE WEEK LATER... their apology that they made a mistake and gave my accounts a full reversal of action. whether one week or one minute, a mistake did happen and i see will continue to happen unless nc's mindset takes on a more liberal approach.

Second, I am almost sure that even if you are doing just afk macro, but it is on for days, weeks or it is simply 24/7 you will trigger their so called bot protection which I think is watching and observing for characters doing the same actions over and over again in time. Like being in fight mode all the time for example.

macrocreator might be the problem. I've never heard of it so I have no real idea but I do know that keyboard based macros can get you into trouble.
hahahaha really you use fake mouse moves and action and you think the this is allowed in game? Only may use game macro system that mean max 12 lines/action made with ingame code. w/o option to loop 2 or more game macro...
Uninstall it, send a thank you ticket to the GMs for just giving you a sanction and not a permanent ban, play with your fingers or in game macros, and be happy:o

Many people claim to be innocent and legal because they never used bots in their main accounts but they use the same pc of your toons bots and they cry saying that it is error until they threaten with denunciations but "I Know What You Did Last Summer".
Play with the rules and you will not have a ban and stop crying

Pick up works only with delay if you pick up immediately this mean you use bot! Bot= permament grats
