In order to prepare NCSOFT network applications for MXM launch this week, all game servers will be down for maintenance beginning Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 4am PDT / 6am CDT / 7am EDT / 1100 GMT (https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/?qm=1&lid=8,6,5,0&h=8&date=2017-6-7&sln=4-7.5) and ending at approximately 7am PDT / 9am CDT / 10am EDT / 1400 GMT. Estimated downtime is 3 hours.
With this maintenance:
Application restarts will be performed prior to the weekly database maintenance that will occur as regularly scheduled on Wednesday, June 21, followed by the game launch of MXM (https://www.playmxm.com/).

Any update on when the on screen notification will be given back to us? First with Grand Crusade it was very small font, then with an update it is gone entirely....can we please get it back?

That was our goal and we exhausted all options, but unfortunately it was necessary to conduct a separate maintenance this morning in advance of the regularly scheduled Wednesday maintenance, in order to be prepped and ready for launching a new game.
You're absolutely entitled to your opinion about MXM and under no obligation to play it yourself; however, that doesn't change the fact that we need to ensure a smooth launch with as little impact as possible to all other NCSOFT titles.
Conguero a question for you hope you can answer it. i transferred from chronos to shilen then freya to chronos after a few years . knowing my my name was taken on chronos due to transfer rules. but my question is now you are planning to merge zaken and chronos will those names become available again. will i be able to remove the I prefix if there is say iblade on chronos and iblade on zaken the same way we were able to on magmeld shilen merge

You pop a xp rune days before only to lose an entire day because of this downtime, since you are at work and can't log the in-game macro back when servers come back. Then you send a ticket to NC and there is nothing they can do to replace one xp day of the rune..
I know I already lose wednesday for the same reason but I popped the rune knowing about it. Now this downtime today was unexpected.
I must ask for an extension for the fishing event too. I went to buy coupons before the event was over 3 am pdt and they were already gone. Either that or could you debit my nccoin for 2 10000 packs so I can continue with the game. I did write a support ticket for this, but was not compensated for the earlier than expected maintenance.
