The only servers I have ever played are the various incarnations of NCNA and NCChina. I just can't find it in me to take a video game so seriously that I would abandon my old Teon characters and and make a fresh start on supposedly greener pastures :)
As far as Lineage 2 Classic is concerned, the main problem with all those enthusiasts is that they believe that it would be the early Chronicles again. This is not the case. Lineage 2 Classic is a different game, with different features. Only certain landmarks have the same name, while being different in nature. Because classic is hands down the best version of lineage 2 since interlude. It's basically NCSoft's way of rolling back the clock and then reimplementing everything with better balance.
L2 GOD patches focus on more content with balance second, L2 Classic focuses on better balance with content second.
Go read the Korean forums that's exactly what the GMs say in their letters to the community. So why wouldn't North America want a better balanced lineage 2?
