how will ceremony of chaos work for the zaken players then? unless I missed it. I see oly pts will be reset and oly for zaken doesn't matter this month so is coc the same?

It's very unfair for your zaken community to not allow them some way to get into Clan halls, because none go for sale hardly ever. I understand though now the idea is to get them to merge, and join pre-existing clans on Chronos.

Now I know exactly what's gonna happen. In order to preserve the names of my toons on Chronos, I was like to make Fresh LvL1 toons in Zaken on seperate accounts only to find out some of them were taken already! OMG! but now I know I don't need to panic no more.
The clan leader where my main characters are staying was worried that he may lose the clan hall due to the lack of Adena, so I was even thinking about making a donation for the clan hall...something like 20B?
I was gonna mail him the Adena but now I know I don't need to do that.

Zaken players cried, spammed and so on here at forums for years.
Now what, they want people from Chronos to give their clan halls, castles etc. to Zaken players as a sign of good will and welcome? :D

The situation of the server Freya is pitiful. Zero fun, zero competition, all monopolized by a group. The same situation that led the server zaken to disappear. :(
ohh, but in zaken was competition...not the same with freya and naia.
If you take a look at hero monument you will understand. In freya and naia i see only 1 ally...in zaken never was like that.
Zaken died first coz ncsoft fault .....they do not adress bot ppl issue in time and do not advertise/marketing enough to bring more ppl, second due to bad gmt...Base ppl are gmt+1 or gmt+2....they cant denied :)
And baning entire contries due to losing teritories in favor of innova was the drop who fullfill the glass :).
Now they force ppl join chronos or pay for transfer..and not event let us keep the name...GJ NcSoft, you are awesome(i have doubts americans know what sarcasm it is).
Name disputes can be appealed by contacting support in cases of name sniping by inactive characters. In general name disputes will be addressed by a combination of factors such as creation date, play time, and level.

I'm on a Fishing Expedition in Naia. The Fish are great over here, especially the fat ones here in Aden Castle Town waters. I am gaining more and more experience by the day. I am 105 now, so nothing more to gain. Now I am waiting for the Server Transfers to re-open on the 30th of August. I will be heading back to Chronos since I caught all the best Fish in Naia.
I got nearly ~80k Fishing Reward Boxes ... the big question is now ... what to do with them.
I will be re-united with some of my oldest friends in Chronos. Chronos was the original server I used to play long before Zaken opened. Gustin was my 1st and oldest server in my L2 history. I hope NCsoft will allow me to take back one of the oldest names of which most of the Players know me by. It's inactive on one of my oldest Accounts though .....

Why should Chronos players have to risk their names or take a day off work to save their names? This is a big benefit for Zakens player base not really Chronos.

It will already be embarrassing that Zaken clans will have to re-buy clan halls from Chronos pets/alts/secondary clans at very high prices, unless Zaken clans cease to exist and the players will be recruited by all existing clan species In Chronos. Anyway, Chronos will remain Chronos and Zaken ... well ... outsiders.
Well all this action from start all must know the is not merge but just transfer all from zaken to chronos. Merge was made before pre-GoD and 3 servers to Freya... now this is pure transfer with no limits of items and adena... simple server one + server two become server one, not server one + server two to become server three
The only thing that worried me was having to empty my private alt clan warehouse, I even started to clean up and sold a lot of things. I was afraid I would not have enough Wh space in my alts and would have to make new ones which I would dislike. I do believe the CH situation is unfair to the Zaken players and bad for Chronos clans, there are big active clans who do not own a CH and there are clans that used to be big and now are mostly dead that own a CH. CH should not be permanent, they should be put to auction every 12 months once the yearly lease expires, that way active clans will have at least a shot at getting one. This takeover is the perfect moment to change that rule.

if it means moving from a dead server to a very healthy one yes for sure!
I would support the move of Chronos to any of the Korean servers in a heart beat as those servers are way healthier & better support model/l2store then NCWest has hands down and that's not even taking in consideration that we would be on the same update release cycle with their test server etc.
then again the main reason NCWest servers are what they are is due to the Western player mentality so I'm quite confident that the Koreans don't want us ;)

Character Creation will be disabled on Zaken and Chronos until August 30, after the merge scheduled to take place on August 23.

Go try and make a character, it says that you cannot create a new characters if you don't previously have a character on the server. Not my fault if they say 2 different things, hence why i posted, maybe you should learn to read and you would notice i mentioned why i was confuse with this ****. Plus, not being able to make new characters to farm mentee coins or for people who wants to reroll or start again for TWO WHOLE WEEKS just because we're receiving a ~50 players server over to chronos is so stupid.. DH and MAX are not friends. DH tried to attack MAX in Aden in dim server months ago, the strongest party of DH came, and get ***** by MAX. When MAX was really less powerfull than now.
That's appened months ago, while MAX and NOVA was not yet allied.
If Naia and Freya finally merge together one day, DH and MAX will try continue farming the maximum is possible, like they are actually doing.
And for ppl that keeping saying that the topest clan of each servers are only PvE cowards, remember that :
You need PvP items to be stronger in PvP.
You need a lot of Adena to get PvP items.
You need a lot of PvE to get a lot of Adena.
You need PvE items to farm a lot of PvE.
You need Adena to buy PvE items.
You need PvE farm to get Adena.
All PvP items have extremly high price ... 50b minimum for the lowest dragon jewel in Freya ... 80/100b for 1 lvl 5 jewelery ... 100/150b for +16 weapon PvP ...
The next logic move will be in winter naia and freya merge and in the 2018 spring new server opening :) or who knows 2 new servers.

+1 for the new server in 2018. I'd like to move all my toons to the new server if possible, farm all the Field RBs, farm all the COC belts, farm all the Dark Stones, farm all the Dragons with little or no Competition for the next couple of years and then just wait for the next server merger and become ultra rich.
This is what is happening now with Zaken server, but if you ask any of Zaken players they all in one voice will tell you that you are wrong, it is not like that :D

Im gonna tell this, If I would play in Chronos server instead of Zaken ..or hell, in the trash-dump Shilen then trash-dump Freya, I would have a better equip and higher lvl. And its not me..its 90% of server ffs.
Yet, a newly fresh start was tempy and my belive that ncsoft would do smthing about..that was a big mistake.

I don't know whether posting in this thread is appropriate for what I have to say, but I'm going to say it anyway.
Thank you, NCSoft, for the mess on Chronos server.
Why you didn't keep Freya server in a NA time zone after the merge of Bartz, Magmeld and Shilen is beyond me. That would have allowed for a logical merge then between Zaken and Freya, a much more sensible solution.
Instead, you took the heaviest populated server with the fewest clan hall, fortress, castle resources and added hundreds more players and dozens more clans to an already stressed environment.
Some small clans were struggling to make their way in an already-crowded environment and you just increased that struggle many times over. Clan halls, when they do become available, were already beyond the economic ability of small clans to obtain and now it is even worse.
So yes, NCSoft, thank you so very much for your poor insight and bad business management. You took what was barely a tolerable server to play and turned it into a quagmire of impossibility for the little people.
