MMORPG Lineage M's daily sales record has been renewed with Lineage IP.

On March 3, NCsoft announced that the cumulative number of mobile MMORPG Lineage M subscribers reached 7 million in 12 days.

Considering that the number of users who participated in pre-release reservations was 5.5 million, it is believed that users who exceeded our expectations were introduced to Lineage M.

As the number of subscribers increased, daily sales increased. The company said that it reached 13 billion won last day, about 10 days after it reached the record-breaking 10.7 billion won on the first day of launch (June 21). Daily average sales of Lineage M reached about 9 billion won.
Lineage M.
Lineage M.
The number of DAUs (Daily Active Users) was 2.1 million on the 21st of last month. Since its release, the average daily number of users has reached 1.5 million.

NCsoft's Chief Publishing Officer (CPO) said, "The achievements of Lineage M are made with users." "We will continue to develop and maintain the value of Lineage, which other games can not imitate."

Lineage M is preparing a commemorative event to raise the cumulative number of subscribers to 7 million to give back to the users' support. More information on the event will be posted on Lineage M official homepage.
I believe that even l2 would hit much higher revenues if it will run on mobile phones. Reason is simple: mobile phones rule the world. :)

I wouldn't like L2 on mobile phones.

1. It's gonna hurt my eyes so bad, also it's gonna ruin my body posture. At least when I play L2, I am sitting down on a chair with a back support.

2. I like using both my hands to play my character. Right hand for the mouse and left hand for hot-keys. It gives me better control of the game. I cannot imagine doing this on a mobile phone. They are gonna have to provide auto-macro-hunting to solve this problem, but will I like this? I don't think so.

3. Phone Bills. If I play L2 on a cell phone...how much is my monthly phone bill gonna be? I live in NA!

However, I think it will be nice if they make "Lineage2 Remastered" both PC based and mobile phone based at the same time, to give us the option to play L2 in the good old fashion way, as well as the option to play on a mobile phone. It will be so awesome to have the same Lineage2 but on a different game engine with better graphics, better control, bug free, less lag, more control and do character transfers from the old Lineage2 to the new Lineage2 Remastered, just like Server transfers. It's never been done before but if they do this, then NC is gonna retain all of its core players to the new game as well as the flooding new players. Most of all, it's gonna show the world, they care for their players.

they cant transfer a data base from 1 game to another different game, doesnt work like that.
I personally don't like the whole mobile phone game thing as why would anyone want to play that type of games on such a small screen is beyond me but yeah it's hard to deny the popularity of such..

here's more info on the L2 version including screenshots etc.: http://boards.rochand.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=1974
lol mobile games, i use my phone for texts and sports betting and i ****** hate it as it is.

Check the chart here:

For reasons I have repeatedly explained on this forum (search for "death of internet cafe culture"), all of NCsoft's traditional PC-based games are generating less and less revenue, while the revenue from mobile games is inexorably increasing. It would be irresponsible of the company's leadership not to jump on the mobile bandwaggon. The system works, at least in Asia and at least for a limited time:

While the NCsoft stock price could best be described as "volatile" at the moment, it is still significantly higher than a year ago:

Apart from that, there is no reason to get excited. Lineage 2 Mobile already exists in an official, licensed English version:

That's where Aram is taking his English language screenshots and anybody who wants to try it out can do it for free.

You cannot take your desktop pc with you anywhere, anytime, or can you ?

this is major reason in 21st century where u need this flexibility and mobility in fast pace lifestyle.

But yah i agree mobile gaming sux bigtime :), small screens miserable performance not comfortable control of characters etc.
