i ve spend over 2k dollars over the past 2 years that i am playing and i cant find any motivation to buy any more ncoin again for the last 3 months.why i dont like to pay anymore??? this is the 10 milion dollar question i guess!!!! i realize that i play a game that the guy that wins in the game is the guy who spends the most dollars. do i want to participate in such a game?thats another important question to be answered...i see thought naia which i play that ppl seems to understand that and abandone the game slowly. i even cant find 1 party for af lately!!!! i cant play oly cause the unbalance is too high and i loose on 1 shot from top players. the rewards there are rediculus. i cant pvp cause my gear is too low!!!! so whats the point of playing anymore????? even sieges dont have action anymore. dh have all castles and they rule. so no point on siege either!!!!! finally i ll make a prediction for the game that i love so much. if the situation continues like this in 2-3 years l2 will be deleted from our computers.i w8 for your opinions.ty.

Bottom line is the game is a p2p game - falsely advertised to its own detriment as a f2p game.
Nonetheless, here is the deal if L2 is going to survive.
1.It has to fix the issue of parity. Currently, their is a 'major gap' that cannot be reasonably narrowed. It exists on 2 levels: gear and level.
2. The reasonableness of event success is non-existent. We are now at a dead end where NC has bled a large percentage of whales + now those like you who have spent => what I would class for a game as quite a lot - especially void of any relevant gap closure success - have given up.
A company needs money to keep doors open & needs to not price gouge!
L2 can only achieve long-term viability by:
a. L2 SHOP everything - and that means virtually EVERYTHING. -Items need to be priced low.
-Throw out ALL success percentage items - NC blew away this feature given their: "Contact your local government" response on this issue.
THIS NARROWS THE GEAR GAP AND PROVIDES PARITY AND HOPE FOR 10,000 PPL + ! Why, because there is far more money serving the masses who will dabble for small improvements when money can be put on a game (like you) than there is bleeding what is left of a circling the drain whale class.
b. Allow changes to mains and to duals. WTF not ! If you pay a small fee and change, ppl should be allowed to change - YES EVEN MAIN CLASSES. Reduce the main class to same lvl void of any perks purchased/attained (ie. skill enchants etc).
WHY - to allow ppl to stay engaged. A customer is BORED with playing his main toon for 'x' number of years & is faced with the option to 'start a new toon'. REALLY - you want a wall to get to 100+++ put in front of your longstanding customer who has paid money to play......that's just stupid. Politics in game change.....clans change....CPs change....what is so hard to understand why this is needed in a game. THE POINT IS TO KEEP/RETAIN CUSTOMERS.....NOT TO PUT START OVER BARRIERS IN THEIR PATHS while they continue to PAY YOU MONEY!
c. Make DPS equal for class types....It's mathematical guys...the decision to play a certain toon should not be 'x' DD does more damage than 'y' DD.....this is something obvious!
L2 is losing mmorpg spirit and dev team, NcSoft, is doing their best to wipe what players like.
Only few examples:
PPl like RedLibra>>>Dev team:we cant stop doing event but we put some rare not tradable items mandatory for the class you play so in the end ppl wont ask redlibra coz they have nothing to change.
Ppl like fishing to make some adena>>>Dev Team: OMG OMG OMG, too much ppl fishing to get adena, lets nefert so none will fish.
But hey, we will have weekend event...mobs from GC will drop 3200 adena instead of 1600 adena. Chears! I feel exceptionaly rewarded.
I still wonder why DevTeam did not notice PPL like to solo instances here in NcSoft...like Kartia 95 group, Kamaloka 99, CC...
In good spirit of tradition, DevTeam, NcSoft, pls nefert that too...make again minimum 7 ppl to entry. And dragons, oh dragons...cc of 48 ppl its not enough, make it 101 ppl. All those instances are exceptionaly rewarded.
