Hello,
Any one tested it for real to see if that's true: p crit dmg and p skill crit dmg is the same thing for othells (strange). I am asking this becouse i found many posts regarding this matter and i wasnt sure about it.
Thx.
Not same thing but you need both (combination) for othell.
Forgot to mention i was talking about aguments. People talking about p crit dmg has the same bonus as p skill crit dmg agument on othell class. Any1 tested that?
It's the same thing, whereas one only affects skill crit dmg and the other only normal attack crit dmg. Since daggers were always an exception, you get the same bonus of either of these augs, whereas an Yul will not.
I'd rather take skill crt dmg, since there're so many skills that cutting your regular crt dam dealt; such as enchantment routes of an angels touch, or AP skills of the knight's.
op is asking about it in context of daggers and for those either/both works
I am now playing Fortune Seeker 90.
What i see - auto attack do nothing.
Only skills do damage.
In Auction House was daggers with +skill crit. Obvious for Othels.

Daggers are an exception....how is that? So to be clear, p.skill crit dmg and p.crit dmg augments have same bonus on blows/stab of othells.....if that's true than p crit dmg sounds better becouse we can get a small boost on normal hits aswell. Still looking for some1 who actualy tested bouth setups...again on othells, it's clear on other classes what each one does.
It used to be like this...

p. crit dmg - bonus for all skills, crits from autoattack
p. skill crit dmg - bonus when skill crits (like 2x dmg + bonus from this)

But I don't know if there was some changes. I don't play dagger anylonger.
This is from NCKorea Forum, Rogue section.

Long story short, Out of 30 x tries with 7% P.Critical Damage and 7% P.Skill Critical Damage Each,

Target Isabel(NPC), skill = BackStep
Average damage for 7% P.Critical Damage = 43,008
Average damage for 7% P.Skill Critical Damage = 43,832

To me, they look about the same. Personally, I would use whatever comes first. In my past experience, anyone who gets either of them within the first 200 x Top Grade Spirit Stones should consider themselves Lucky and just keep the first aug.

Good morning .. Dagger users ..
This is the experiment on the question whether the physique creature that is controversial on the bulletin board is good or the skill creature is good.
Please look at it with interest.

1. Equipment: Bleece armor, high-grade seed bracelet, high-grade aqua,
2. Experimental Object / Method: npc Moving / Chaser After casting, only cast backstab, except master damage damage.
3. EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS: The damage of the Skill Critical option is somewhat dominant (see chart)

4. Test Reviews
- Lenta of the dagger performed 30 experiments at each step for the deep-sea statistics and compared with the average excluding the maximum value and the minimum value
- The increase in the skill critical option damage appears to be 1 ~ 2 more proactive than the physical critical option.
- The idea of a marriage option is that people who invest tens of billions of dollars to float 15% of MK, do not have to stick to one thing but use it to attach first.

P crit auto attack for pve good not for pvp ty

I have spoiler and i have p dmg sp skills so i deal good dmg in back with AA and yes i do fail forgot leave blund trigger so skill only back stab deal good dmg
I'll try to clarify:

Critical Damage applies only for normal hits.
P. Skill Critical Damage applies only for skills.

Now, the only class that is an exception to this rule, are Othell Rogues, since their stab skills do more damage with Critical Damage items, such as Baium, AQ, etc.

When augmenting an othell weapon, both Critical Damage and P. SKill Critical damage options would be the same, because as Othell, you rely your damage on stab skills, not on normal hits.
Already knew how p crit dmg and p skill crit dmg works but ty for trying to explain.....was just about how they work on othells and now looks like everyone agrees its the same thing for some strange reason.
Ty for trying to clarify my question
Stabs count as "normal hits", they are the only skills affected by critical damage boosts.
Also, items/buffs/AP etc that reduces critical damage nerfs normal hit critical damage only (and as such othell stabs), while skill critical hits from yul, tyrr etc is unaffected by those things.

All this in mind, its quite easy to tell they are exactly the same, as the game does not use any magic formula when it comes to damage.

But yes to answer your question, ive checked with AP setups and there was no difference between the two.

@Skylarking is on the wrong track.
When you use a skill, it first calculates your damage and then it applies the defenses etc that your target uses.
So while he is right that those items do reduce stab damage, it is irrelevant as the game already calculated his damage.
Writing on phone but should be clear what im trying to say :o
