Major criticism revolves around the drop rate of the carrots (basically non-existant ingame, its unfair to even suggest this event had an intended ingame drop related function, as the drop rate was that bad)
Also the fact that an explicit forum post was made stating the rewards had remained the same, in turn myself and several others were excited about the possibility of getting/making Rulers Rings of Authority, as well as some other items.
However it became quickly apparent that it wasnt the case, the drop rates of certain things had been adjusted. Who needs all these tauti frags? Seriously?
Im working this off a sample size of about 10,000$ worth of carrots , so it is a reasonable sample size.
I genuinely wish that the drops were based on what the economy/community as a whole could benefit from.
Theres a real gear gap that prevents the game from functioning as would have been originally intended. (I doubt the game was ever intended for a single character in best of the best of the best gear to be able to take on with a reasonable chance of success 1-3 parties of mid/top geared toons)
Events like this are a phenomenal way to reduce the gear gap, and this one was mostly wasted due to the drop tables being poorly/not managed at all.

Gee, I think you already know the answer to this one. The drop rate was such that a person soloing would have to kill approximately 1,000 mobs to get the 40 carrots to get just one pouch. in other words, one would have to hunt for several hours to get what one could buy for 10 ncoins (12 1/2 cents). Why even bother with carrot drops at all? Just to pretend the game is still free to play?
Of course, you made matters worse by saying the event was unchanged when you darn well knew the drop rate had been so severely nerfed.
Also, why have a potentially valuable item, the maphr's wind scroll, that is essentially valueless to sell because it expires at the end of the event? At least make them permanent. If you wanted to include things that added value but didn't hurt your sales, how about immortal scrolls, preferably tradable? This could have been a wonderful event. Instead, it was just another money grab by NCSoft.
extreme super low drop rate, the feel of you guys someone is stealing your cookies was ridiculous.
you can compare at the database the level of participation from pass events to this no need to dig too much, pretty sure you guys got that data still around.
Example the quantity of trade was made with galup at towns.
Too the extreme to get real prizes and again high chance to get nonsense items like regular enchant wep just as a example.
After participating on 3 hungry horse event those years and spending plenty Ncoins i felt like been scammed in this one.
-No horses in order to make some extra carrots....

As i feel the last event of hungry horse was just to determinate the free to play game and also determinate the pay to win game......
hope in the future to see free to play events w/o the need to buy ncoins in order to make something.
I also can suggest 1 free to play event/month 1 event with ncoins in order ppl have fun some months and |NcWest to have incomes.
P.s. Naia server is dead plz do domething to rez it...we have 1.5-2k ppl online and most of us have 3 clinets online. No partys etc
This event was for thous that have army of wynns and bots software. The scammers of this game just become richer with NcSoft bless. After 5 hours of farm spending all my r shots i got 46 carrots.
Those army of wynns working 24/7 make a fortune.
NO Ban no punishment , i saw same chars all the event farming carrots and adena.
@Conguero, and @Neutron ban players for insults words but dont ban chars in game.
So please do us , the really players not come computer software but to us the really people of this game.
No more Events. We are no so much rich to compare with 20 Bots wynns. Please let us just play the game without event's , since you don't have a solution or (BAN Button) for Bots.

The only good reason to make again a red libra event is AFTER the next update, with all those class changements.
So stop spaming this **** everytime Conguero or Neutron are posting something ! Especially that had no valuable information about the topic !
Carrot drop rate was low, and return on use was also low. Making them unappealing to use and sell. Event prompted everyone to run AFK macro trains in every 85+ spot making legit leveling a massive pain for weeks. Also felt like it was heavily tilted to get the few the whales the game has to drop couple grand for the month. Everything else was an after thought. Weekend exp was fleeting and difficult to capitalize on due to said macro trains.
Event itself did not effect game play or fun levels.

Didn't effect or improve overall gameplay. Other than the extra drops you would have no idea an event was happening.
