The only problem I've had with the AH is that it doesn't show anything in the soulshots tab. Doesn't matter if I use search or click through the tabs to the soulshot tab. The only way to get the soulshots to show up is to click another tab and then suddenly it returns results for soulshots.
The problem might be fixed already though as I haven't done anything in game since the lag / d/cs started last week.
Pretty sure is talking about the fact he can't seem to be able to sell anything.
That's not unexpected, is just another consequence of the Fishing/elcyum nerf.
Honestly, i was expecting something like this, i only didn't expect it happened this fast. As a player that actually sells a lot of stuff, i can confirm the abrupt lack of sales (and price drops) and i'm guessing things will be worst from now on.
@Neutron: Now that casual players don't have any more ways to get adena, and with the new update messing even more with more adena sinks and removable of systems that helped players, (ex: Daily Coins) can we expect anything any time soon to fix the lack of ways to get adena? (at least for the casual players)
I can't sell anything even at 50% of its DEFAULT value. Guys, u need fix this. Big time.
Maybe for you is working fine for me is broken. +10 armor 5b no buyers ? are u serious? It's broken!
FACTS
1. You set your price point ("default value") based off of an artificially high price point. The +10 armor set should never have been valued at more than your "50%" off price of 5b per. Let alone the heavy set should be less. The fact is you can make it yourself at that price.
2. Anyone who can afford that price now days, already has it and doesn't need it. (Further proof that your prices are to high, google supply/demand curve)
3. Those who need 8 and 10 gear, have no means to collect adena in the amounts required for your ridiculous pricing. This usually leads to them quitting as there is no longer any real progression in their game.
Add these up and you realize you are trying your best to find a fresh whale that started recently and is willing to spend the USD to "earn" adena to buy your gear. Your competition is NCsoft and Russian RMTs, they are amazing whale hunters.
Before NC removed adena from the game for all intents and purposes, these +10 sets should have been selling at around 40-50b per set, this easily allowed for 20b to craft and 20b to profit. They were selling for 80 and up, and +8 sets were going for 30-40b range. This was silly to begin with, and if I had to guess, mostly inspired by some people trying to recover their "investment" back in adena. As most of these were sold/bought RMT for $600-$1200. The other culprits were the clever fellows who could do math and figured out that they could make these sets for far less (provided you paid for and made a Maphyr +7 shirt), but none the less went full blown American capitalism and kept raising and maintaining the prices.
Basically, you can wait, and maybe you will find that person who just RMT the "event" of the month and happens to click your item in the AH. Or you could accept the current S&D curve and lower your prices.
The flip side in supply and demand is that you do have the supply, and can choose to sit on it indefinitely.
Been selling hard +8 Eternal parts for 2,5-3b and still no buyers. Hail the broken economy, thanks to all the sheeple and their beloved god.
Hmm, in the above post I accused the wrong person of selling heavy.
Still your prices are also overly high for today's market.
This IS the full effect of the fishing nerf. It didn't just screw over those who used fishing as their means to earn adena, it effectively screwed over anyone who USES adena as there aren't other effective means of injecting it into the base.
It was just so piss poorly done that the broken economy still doesn't know where it is. Eventually things should equal out, but I am afraid it wont be with you being able to sell these parts for that price.
I made my +8 bloody set for less than 10b over a year ago. I didn't make it in a day, and I had to make and sell then buy some parts. I had no real way, even fishing, to make 10b in a reasonable amount of time. Adena is worth less today than it was then by some where around 20%.
I would suggest selling +10 parts at 2-4b per.
I would suggest selling +8 parts at around 1b per.
Even then, I am not 100% that the market CAN sustain this without the cost of clean armor and enchants coming down.
I admit I have not bought anything on the market since the fishing nerf, as it was my main source of adena income (and I still haven't recovered from the loss of investment in 2 fancy rods), so I guess I'll keep running in my R99 +5 for yet another few years :) that is, if the game survives that long.

Meh, was about to write a long answer but yeah... after those " for your ridiculous pricing." words, pointless :). All this academical stuff geez help us. It is very simple geez ... read what I say now :
AH BROKEN. Understand English? :) I do not intend to go deep and u know... to make 8-12k words essay about it touching all economics and psychological factors involved. I'm saying it IN plain English as experienced and educated player who is enchanting A LOT.
Your 1st 3 points just killed me lol. Man plz go make me heavy set +10 I buy it for 25b. I think after 1 attempt u literally will disappear and say something "sorry I was completely foolish". Because u know if you speak much u need prove it. Words by itself worth nothing. Go on let's do this. Whats ur nick and what server. backup your words. I want to get from you parts of heavy set, mostly Breastplate and Gaiters. Alright, big boy?

As it stands right now a truly new player will probably have +3 twilight at level 99. OF course no one will take such a player in K99 or anything of that level. So at that point they either drop a lot of $$$ or drop the game. It's pretty obvious which choice most will make.
Meanwhile ncsoft continues to try to squeeze the loyal fanbase as much as possible for money. They might as well just sell adena for straight cash at this rate. At least that'd be somewhat honest of them.

Just a little correction Chuck. I've never logged in on Freya but a +10 set is
- Chonos 40 to 45
- Naia 60 to 70
A + 10 Dark set is
- Chronos 85 to 90
- Naia 150 to 175
Ask DH why.
The only right answer, alongside Chuck's one, is Tool's one.
If NCWest wants to save the ship it has to
- revert the fishing scam
- sell adena in cheap terms.

d@m you....math...and basic economics...I should have refrained from using this stuff.
I do not intend to go deep and u know... to make 8-12k words essay about it touching all economics and psychological factors involved. I'm saying it IN plain English as experienced and educated player who is enchanting A LOT.
If you enchant a lot, then please tell us what you spend to make a +10 set. Also please include your method. I have laid out mine in a previous post, and can show you with that "academic stuff" how it actually works. It is in fact the exact same principle as the whales use to break the promo's. (search post by me and go back a few months, you will find it.)

Jacky, I am not attacking you here man. You are a victim like the rest of us. I am simply calling it like it is and telling you why it is. You are the one that was bringing this issue up saying it needs fixing, and you are correct in that. However sadly for enchanters and sellers, part of fixing it would be and is, dramatically reducing the value of these items for sale.
And FYI, my actual estimate is that with 20-25b, one should expect a result of around 10 armor pieces to +10. I have done lots of testing on this, and have graphs. No, I wont show them to you and feel no obligation to. You may take my word or not since you don't care overly much about that "academic stuff" anyways.
I can give you a candle and a match, but I cannot make you enlightened.

If they don't do that this ship is alredy sunken.
I can say that on Freya server the prices are broken for some items, but for some others the prices are normal.
For a normal +10 set the price always was between 45 and 55b. And now the prices going down because there is no more buyer anymore.
But ask ppl why they are selling giant lifes stones for 9b each (that no one will ever buying it since it's not a permanent item) or a +15 cloack that is actually around 200b when on others servers aka Chronos it's around 80b ... Ppl are really greedy ...

Don't have them of the top of my head, been a while since I bought EAR, GEAR, BEAR so I don't recall, can you please tell me what this 25b translate to in terms of BEAR, EAR, GEAR + armor pieces?. I think I agree with you in the round figure but I'd need to make sure just by understanding the items involved.
During last 2-2.5 years prices went up and up, I remember a light set 8 r95 4-5 bil...now in some servers ppl ask 10+bil and so on.
The point is: all of those adena gain cuts are part of NcSoft controlling the market strategy...
Btw, you remember that hard denomination from 2011-2012 (i cant remember exactly the year)...after a bug that cause flooding billions in the market?
NcSoft force ppl to lower the prices in order to maintain a "normality"...its a fact.
Your 1st 3 points just killed me lol. Man plz go make me heavy set +10 I buy it for 25b.
The problem in your (both of you) math is about the ideal condition...you can make it for less if you have patience with the market, if you enchant with a full Luc staked dwarf, if you enchant during Alien event, if you have a strategy, etc :)

Thanks in advance.
Items needed:
- (+7) Maphyr shirt
- Luc at or above 60 (preferably 70)
- 40 pieces or armor
- 700 EAR +/-
- 700 BEAR +/-
On a large enough scale, 60% success is always realized. Bring everything up in waves together to (+8).
I assume only 30 pieces make it to (+8) for some error room. (its less effective to waste EAR and BEAR on 2 stragglers)
30*.6= 18; 18*.6= 10.8 (this is where I get the number 10 from)
I round down to 10 and divide by 2 to account for terrible odds that do happen with lower volume. Should leave 5 pieces or a representation of a full set. This being the reason I started with 40 pieces.
"ok, let's **** with the fishery for the items to lower the prices on the server, but the only way to get adena is now using your credit card visa. " That is, to become a cheater.
Idk how much excuses nc will use to explain about fishing nerf, but lets take popcorn, sit, and put l2 folder in secondary HD, where the games are no longer fun and meaningless. W8 for salvation, if something good for normal players, try again, if not , bb l2.
Fortunately, we have a scroll of modifying armor and weapon dropping of the instances and 800 of adena for each mob, (and a lindvior costing 60b to buy ha ha ha ), the player becomes a slave of the game. I already said, dismiss the guys who are doing the math there, ncsoft.
A few weeks ago it was revealed that EA was implementing algorithms of microtransactions in games to force their players to spend, players were disgusted, imagine the l2 players , where already killed with the free to play events, nerf adena drops, the drops of items are just craps, and the only way to participate in the event is now paying.
Just w8ing for geared ppl come here and say, "u can make all in game if u spend time in game, if u dont have time , became a cheater with visa credit card".
For me agree with the guy, and add, the all game has been broken with nc fail and troll logic.

Dead on.
Get the bubbles out of the market place. Many Non-spenders from foreign countries are taking advantage of North American server. We might have to build walls. Keep those middleman out of NA!
We will NOT pay 80+b for a +10 dark sets! This only DISCOURAGES new players from wanting to get motivated and therefore killing the game! Get the CANCERS out of our society
