Ncsoft is set to announce a bunch of new initiatives on November 11th, 2017
I'm hoping one of the following three get announced....
Aion 2
Lineage 3
Lineage 2 Classic NA
I think it'd be great to see a new Aion or Lineage game announced, but I'll be happy with finally being able to legally play the best version of Lineage 2, which is classic.
What are you guys hoping gets announced November 11th?
What I want is everything in Lineage 2 but get a 3D engine and modeling face lift, retaining 100% of all game items, armors, gears, PVP mechanics, etc. With so much invested, having a much improved graphics will help with the evolution and longevity of this game.
Crying some still use old hardware seems like an impossibility because those who are truly unable to pay even a few dollars have long since left the game. Like even before the first brooch, let alone shiny shirts and kingdom cloaks.

Aion was nice so would be nice to play again; L2 Classic NA I am still not sure. L3 or whatever they call it maybe it will be good. If they re-think this whole P2W strategy it could be worth playing otherwise no way I will re-invest in a new game.
Aion Tempest, the project formerly known as Aion Legions, is a game for smartphones, as is Lineage 2M. For Project TL ("The Lineage") no platform is announced. Its precursor, Lineage Eternal, first came out for tablet computers, then for PCs. There is no Lineage 2 Classic NA: http://news.joins.com/article/22092476
As far as the gameplay of Project TL is concerned, it seems to be still centered around mass destruction, "hock and slash" as they say. The so-called "drag skills" where you marked an area of effect with your mouse, the distinctive mark of previous Lineage Eternal incarnations, may or may not have been removed. More information is announced for 2018 :)

At Rochand there are several Lineage Eternal enthusiasts, so we will keep monitoring the project :)
I'm glad to see they canceled Lineage Eternal and that team eternal abomination and are coming back to the roots of Lineage with the traditional characters. In the trailer it is possible to identify at least 6 classes based on Lineage 1: Knight, Mage, Elf, Dark Elf, Warrior and Prince.
