Much as I personally would benefit from red libra (I need to change the class of my dual) I can understand both the hesitation to have another red libra this quickly and the irritation some people who don't need red libra must feel at all the people pushing for it on these forums.
But I have two questions that I hope you will answer and I don't think are unreasonable. First, why not end all the crying in these forums by simply telling us when you plan on doing red libra again? Second, is there any chance that the ability to change the class of a dual and to chance the type of a weapon will be introduced as permanently available features independent of red libra.

Red Libra event should come after every major change....its when we needed most.
I agree with both RighteousAvenger and Pleistoros points. Red Libra should either be a given with every major change/update or it should be something offered permanently. At the very least the dual class change should be offered permanently. There are many ways it could be done, but the easiest I would imagine would be an NPC that only accepts an NStore item as currency. That way you still make your buck and people are happy. You could even limit it to once every 30 days like server transfers if you want.
My clan is doing a lot to help our members level up and also create more diversity within our group. A large amount of people want to change their dual classes for the betterment of the clan (ie: playing classes that we are lacking to help fill parties on important clan-related activities). Red Libra would allow us to more feasibly do a lot more content, including the upcoming Clan Missions in the Salvation update.

Wasn't it planned to just have a few units of CE main+dual awarded once Salvation hits? There's no need for Red Libra.
Just wanted to point out the way you guys treat us in past 3 moths.
So first and most recent we had almost a full week of ddos atacks with disconnects and lose of items like cake/runes/vitality potions fishing baits etc.
Today at update is no mention of a compensation pack or anything.(don't u think that players tend to think that u don't care?)
Second and most important we where told almost 2 month ago that we will be informed on salvation update an get patch notes soon.
Now you guys treat us like garbage, not even an eta when we an have them or at least info if it is gonna happen this year or next one.
Third we where told that no more monthly preview but we will be inform about plans and events in advance.
Here i get that fishing event was first since you started with this plan as when and how u will inform us, but now we have only 7 days of fishing event and u gave zero info about what will be next week.
So don't even ask your self why this game is losing players and why players hate u guys, cause u say one thing and u don't do nothing, u don't keep your word and stop acting that u care for players because in last part of the year what happened here on forum and in game is just ridiculous.

Good questions, RighteousAvenger. First, Red Libra isn't in the schedule yet. We're still planning the schedule for the rest of the year, and hopefully into next year. As history has shown, when we try to give advance notice on our plans, it hasn't worked out for us due to various reasons (schedule shifts, missing deliverables, etc.). Right now we will try to give at least a week's notice for upcoming events until we can get our schedules back on track and in a commit-able manner.
Second, that's not a bad suggestion. I can't recall if it was brought up already, but we can triple check.

I'm sure there has to be some policy somewhere where it states you pick and choose which questions to throw an answer at and those with which you can just ignore like they don't exist. The question of compensation is probably the fairest one here and it's been ignored during the entire ordeal. As servers are somewhat returning to normal operations players have lost literal money and time to these attacks and nothing has been provided in any sort of manner that would indicate you have plans on compensating us for that loss. I've only been back a few months but I have seen compensations for much smaller violations against the player base, this seems gross in comparison and silence. If you do in fact have a policy prohibiting discussion of these things at least make the players aware.

The frustration you see every day on this forum is not just in not knowing (which is frustrating enough) but in feeling we are not being listened to and not being kept informed of your ideas and thoughts for the future of the game. You seem to be the one person who is open to a discussion, and I hope you will take the time (and I know it takes time and you folks are quite busy) to talk with us, rather than being as stingy with information as you folks have been in the past.

Frankly, it is irritating when people are begging for a compensation package within hours of the beginning of the problem. If there has been a monetary loss from items used during the attacks, please please please submit a ticket. Our team will review and rectify the losses.

It is definitely safe to say Red Libra would be planned independent of the Salvation update. It's likely we won't be seeing before the year's end (only two months left), so it'll probably be thrown into the schedule for next year.

No offense but then u can just as well post pone the whole Salvation update as clearly you guys haven't read the all the class changes that it contains..
major changes impacting:
- ISS
- Tanks
- Healers
- Daggers
and don't say you don't know if that will be part of this update as those of us that keep track of the latest from other Regions aka Korea/Japan/Taiwan/RU & EU know that those class changes have already been confirmed to be happening..
If you guys want to encourage players to return or keep playing then maybe it's time to listen to the feedback of your player base as it's not like this particular point hasn't been posted before on this forum by many other players ?
wait till ppl realize NC also removed the clan/castle cloaks from the new clan system (after they first removed them from the Oly rewards) forcing players to buy from l2store or only being able to use their "free" exalted cloak..
the logic behind that decision is one of stupid greed as it will destroy one of the most important reason players would buy into the whole revamped clan system as that new clan cloak one could get by just being a good active clan member would highly stimulate clan aka game player activity and instead we only get stuff taken away from us - when will it end ?

A very big +1 on this.
The all clan revamp is probably one of the biggest mistakes that NCSoft did in a while. (i'm not forgetting the fishing bust) An then there's the Tank changes that might take a big part of the tank population off the L2 for good, and later we will have the weapon system change that will render another class useless. (the titans)
Instead of creating systems that keep people in this game and maybe catch some new ones, NCSoft is doing the opposite, that is in same cases, forcing people to leave the game.
I've seen Neutron mentioning plenty of times that they want to give casual players ways to get adena, but i don't see anything been done. In fact i see the opposite, ways to screw players over. When is this going to stop? What do we need to do to make NCSoft to open their eyes?

I don't want to be the always negative guy on forums but something has to change. I've seen a lot of people leaving, some of them paying customers, and in my case, depending on how things go with the tank changes, there's a good chance ill go to the same way as i don't want to re roll on a new class.

You can bet both of your kidneys that this cloaks won't make it in our Salvation build and why would they? We've got the awesome Ancient Kingdom cloaks! If I were in their shoes, I'll remove them too, hell I'll remove the seed agathions too and run limited promos with the old ones in boxes for the players to compound.

lolz, let's waste some of the scarce development resources on pleasing the ~15 players on the 3 servers that have a dragon weapon - an item that cost 500+bil at it's essential usefulness level aka stage1 and a crazy amount more at stage2+ aka something 99.9% of the current player base can't & never will be able afford
