The Fishing Expedition in 2016 offered 225 Hero Coin for the 12K NCoin Pack. After Grand Crusade in March, it was adjusted to 200 HC for the May Fishing Expedition and 200 again for October's.
Note: Alien Power Buff has an effect on increasing enchant rate by 10%.
Is this buff working on no grade item?

Cmon NC, really u did again an event with "CONTROL+C" on carrot event and "CONTROL+V" on Alien event and just changed from 40 to 100 the variables to change for 1 reward capsule.
The drop rate is a disrespect with a player, really depressing. Its so clear 2 things.
1--Forcing the player to spend and f@kc the rest of the players who try some progression of the game, I say players low and mid which does not have adena in the game, (in fact there is no way to make adena in the game as a normal player with its main account and its iss box), because the top are catching all the boss or use the visa cheat card.
2--The NC is killing the term "Event" transforming only into a virtual casino that changes every 20 days and brings a new jackpot game in which your chance to win is less than that of a casino in las vegas, players are so comfortable that they pass the whole event without attending or have to spend money too much to try to participate and win something bcs mobs DON'T DROP ANYTHING. One note, they are always the same players that on the first day of the event buy a lot of ncoin for adena (I do not know where adena comes from, let's say so) and push the players without adena option to buy to sell them, very strange.
3-- A poll was made from the last event, the result was all seen that was negative about the drop, imagine now that you have to drop 100 to get a capsule, the question is, if they saw the negative feedback and did it again, or ncsoft does not really hear the players, and pretends to listen and keeps pushing down their polluted logic to make money on the players, or really the forum is useless, as well as the support that told me to come to the forum to write about the drop rate of the event because they they are not able to take any action.
4-- I'm sorry to any CM of ncWest that comes to the forum to pretend that it is working, because if your work is the communication of the players / NCsoft, you are doing a terrible job, regardless if it is another CM or changed its name because it was not able to pass shame in front of the players here, NCsoft is not listening and in my company if someone is failing with their work, is fired. Now if your job is just that, trick the players into the forum so that ncsoft continues to implement that crap they are doing with the events of l2, congratulations. , returning to topic 3, the poll was a cheat to the players here, and it was made pro vcs CM and we did not see any result.
5-- It's just my opinion, if you're going to continue with this trolling view that players are going to support you every month because you're forcing it to do it? You are mistaken, draw your conclusions just like the Japanese server that is light years ahead with the patch in front of us, but there are 3 partys in the party window every day and the server is totally empty because there are no players playing there anymore. This is your future if you do not start treating players with all due respect, thinking that we are idiots, you force us players to buy ncoin or not participate in the event, or even to use bot that is cheaper. You guys nerf the hero coins, increased every event to 12k of ncoin instead of 8k, so you have to spend a lot more every month, shame of you as a company that manages a beautiful game like l2, and the luck of us players have no other source that we can go to complain to end this crap that you are doing, but one day there will be, or until there already will be merge between ncwest / korea / japan.

The drop rate is better than Horse event ( just a little ) . But if we need 40 monster research per capsule was going to be ok , you can close our mouths for this event NCWEST . But in reality we got 100 per capsule witch is CRAP for the time invested . ( for 1 hour of farming i got 20 monster research ) Wich means i must spend 5 hours of farming to get 1 ** capsule . Or 1 capsule = 100 monster research = 10NC COINS = 13cents. And here come the problem for most of the people . That nc west give them an event and they must choose : FARM 5 HOURS nonstop or give 13cents!!!! I think ncwest already did the calculation and know what you will choose ;) . As for me i waited with big excitement this event. I hope that nc learn from its mistakes from last event ( hungry horse) i belived them once again, with their stupid question about last event that they really started to care ... seems not. With that given choice of ours ( farm 5 ** hours or give us 13 cents ) , so for me this event end from the beggining . I know nc and they will not do anything , so dont expect to see boost drops ;) . Am also 10000000% sure No CM OR ANYONE else will answer on my post here ;) gl and hf all

Droprate is another total let-down.

I suppose the drop-rate nerfes we see at every new Event is related to the macro-funktion (legal "botting").
You should make a fundamental change to how event mobs spawn: Currently, there is no Aliens/whatevers inside instances, only at open world at a frustrating low rate (for real players, macros ofc dont care).
For the future make it so, that event mobs spawn MORE inside instances, as these cant be macroed and are limited, this way you would be giving real players an edge over macro-"bots" that run all day long.
Leave the low rate in open world as it is.
Farmed for 10+h and killed multiple mobs per minute (nornils cave) to end up with 37 event items.
Basically farming 1 day will deliver 1 capsule.
Is it suppose to be like this?

I'm not really here to complain about NCSoft just to inform people about current droprates. Because i used to not have any problems with spending a few hundred on an event (not really feeling it to spend hundreds more to gain a bit more damage, satisfied with +12 pve weapon and +8 armor)
Only reason to spend money is the sense of gambling and hoping u get lucky one day. But that should not be the purpose of the NCStore, the gambling bit, the NCStore should enhance the gaming experience. Enough of this rattling of me.
Just keep in mind this event is more then event items, the aliens seem to spawn pretty often (at least in nornils cave). Go out with ur friends ( with a macro to target the aliens) and explore places where people macro farm and get the aliens there.

I wish everybody a happy day, and keep in mind this game is still amazing to experience with a group of friends from all across the world to hang out with and to pew-pew the floating alians.

the last year we got only 1 good and balanced event which was The letter collector nobody whine on forums during that.
As my concern its there is no strategy, although seems this event has a logic reward list which is good (ill explain), trying to say that items capable by the most players should not be in that list since the non casher gets nerfed but if the list has them* they should be farmable so the economy or the needs of the 2 sides would interact

Even though I found the alien mob and made 90-100% of dmg to it, others seem to be quicker at picking up my drop. I even got PKed once for complaining about it.
Can't you make the drop similar to the regular drop from monsters when for the 1st few seconds another player is not able to pick up?

This was never our intention. Sorry we didn't get this right.
We hear you loud and clear, so we're turning off all in-game purchases. We will now spend more time listening, adjusting, balancing, and tuning. This means that the option to purchase crystals in the game is now offline, and all progression will be earned through gameplay. The ability to purchase crystals in-game will become available at a later date, only after we've made changes to the game. We'll share more details as we work through this.

Since 1st day (15/11) droped with macros I got +1300 Monster Research Event itens.
opened 4.2k of capsules and the best i got was kain 6 , lilith and leona 7 . Rest typical junks. I wont play any events anymore, since there is 1% or less to gain anything good. Spent 40b or more to get back only 15 or less. Was fun,what can i say :-) At least i have Barrier and Might's :-)

Hello Hime, this is something I have been trying to officially get disclosed (albeit I am specifically talking about the rewards %'s and not the "event" (promo) item drop %). I have a post in a different section that is a continuation of a conversation Neutron and I had earlier this year. I would be ecstatic if you could answer my questions from that thread, in the event that neutron is currently unavailable.
Now, to simply say "friendly reminder...GFYS" (although done very PC) is an unacceptable answer to legitimate questions from literally almost every single player you have left on these ever diminishing servers.
The thing is, members of your team have stated they feel these numbers should be disclosed. Additionally they intend to see this game running for another decade.
To that extent, here is literally, what successful companies do when they intend to grow and retain a player base after they realize they are failing;

If for no other reason, I highly suggest you review and revise your strategy and become more transparent ASAP, for yourselves. Extorting and exploiting a bunch of people with excessive amounts of extra money will sooner or later come back to bite someone in the ***, that's some Korean odds no one wants to gamble with.

Yes I am refering to Royal Red Grade R of which I've been looking for one and none seem to be available and gotten none from oppened pods. Royal Red grade R95 and grade R99 are available, it's the Grade R that seem to be missing.... Thanks

From that video you can do the math and get a chance of 0.00025 to get Mystic soul Crystal, and having in mind that he didn't get any fragments and you need 10 of them to make 1 soul crystal, the chance I gave before must be lower than that.
