My current bet is patch notes being released, with the update coming the 2nd wednesday of december.

It is strange that this F Lineage 2 Staff could not put the updated version of Lineage 2 Launcher on Lineage 2 Official Web Pages but leave the official installer version of Lineage 2 Launcher from year 2013 - 2014?

Well one is easy to do and would be common sense with an update changing some classes so much, the other isn't that easy. The L2 staff isn't what it used to be and considering the amount of egotistical kiddos on Chronos alone i wouldn't be surprised if they had to deal with a **** ton of reports made by cry babies only trying to get an enemy banned cause they called them a noob :(
I have a question , how people make 6lvl jewels ? i try compound few times. It is literaly waste of money broke at lvl 1 like 10 times which each jewel roughly 300m price.
I mean wth 3bil lost in few clicks ?. Its not 50% sucess thats something like 5% at best.
If i only knew this rates will come up i would never sold my lvl5 jewels done when they was introduced lol. because back on the days it was something like 80% for lvl.1 60% for lv 2 and something like 20% for lvl5 . Today its just impossible to make them.

also many ppl got fed up with the gambling and just save up adena to buy finished goods which means the odds of getting any "new" lvl5's made drops hardcore as less ppl will try making them..
anyways w/e as in Korea they introduced 30 day shadow versions of brooch jewels awhile ago so soon you can just buy them from l2store no worries ;)

With this promotion I found that to make a lvl 4 jewel you need roughly 30-35 lvl 1 jewel cases of the jewel in question. I kept no hard data but I made several lvl 4 jewels (11 jewels in total), got about 10 lvl 3 jewels and some level 1 as leftover. I did not notice a big difference between the jewel type expect for the Blue Cat's Eye which too about 50 level 1 jewels. Other than that, the rest went pretty smoothly with both pearl and ruby taking as little as 20-22 cases. Made all sorts of jewels from memory what I can remember are:
Lvl 4: diamond, pearl, ruby, obsidian, amethyst, sapphire, vital, cat's eye, blue cat's eye, opal.
Lvl 3 (leftovers): one of each above except for blue cat's eye. By the way, WTS lvl 3 jewels, they are all sealed.
I did not try to go to +5 at this time, maybe in the next promo I will. Trying to do so outside of promo is suicidal.

You need 30x cases to make 1x Lvl 4, (on that we agree).
Then you say you need 15x Lvl 4 to make 1x Lvl 5 = 30 x 15 = 450 cases = 48k Ncoin = Usd 200 x 3, (never tested this, seems high but ok; see note below)
By that each Lvl 5 costs Usd 600 or 48k Ncoin
1x Lvl 6 = 2x Lvl 5 = 2x Usd 600 = Usd 1,200 or 96k Ncoin
I don't see where the Usd 3,200 comes from though, that's 2.5 times higher than the above.
Having said that, even at the "low price" of Usd 1,200 per Lvl 6, the tag is extremely high for a single jewel. Consider then a set of 5x at Usd 6k or 6x at Usd 8.4k.
Note: Usd 200 or 16k Ncoin will get you 150 cases which then you have to open and trade with other players to get the cases of the jewel type you need (this is just for clarification). If you are aiming for a Red Cat's Eye, the cost will most likely be 4 to 5 times this for a Lvl 6, but all other gems should be achievable with above math. Not that I am saying ppl should try for them those numbers are simply madness... the exercise is just intended to figure out what it would cost.
A way to even the ******* gems out is either
1) Increase the success rate
2) Completely remove them from the game (best option, compensate players who bought packs/gems)
3) Sell 150packs for 50% of the price they have been going for, a wizard pack, a support pack, and a warriors pack, each only containing the gems you need
