My level 56 PP & Great Wolf are looking for places to level?!?
I don't need herb drops.
I currently have battle armour & dual swords.
I tried EV, but it's to easy for me & everything is dark blue.
Any idea's?
Thanks
At 56 top EV should be green still. It doesn't get blue until like 60.
I would move to the top of EV and the Elder mobs. If not, Frozen Lab seems to be a good place, or so it seems. I hate it there cause it's too bright :D
There are rooms in Apostate that should be white/yellow, and maybe even pink, to you. I wouldn't do them with only Heal/Battle Heal for support, though, and no VR. You will have some MP Problems.
I would not do the Tigers in Forsaken Plains. They stun, and you have no Resist Shock. I think some of the Orcs around them also Stun. Stun is bad.
I would do the part with the Orc Archers and Shaman mixed in with the Gargoyles. There are a few areas of them, separated by what looks like walls :) Do those.
EV is bad at 56+, IMO, I have tried it on Warlock. It's brain dead easy, but it's starting to have too many low mobs, unfortunately...
Valley of Saints is bad with no good heals, and some of the mobs have rathre high evasion. Wolf that level doesn't have the best Accuracy. LOTs of Bleed, Uncurable Poison, Nukes, Backstabs, etc. Mobs are Social Agro, also, and some split (Blade, Wailing, Punishment of Splendor) or Warp (Claw, Fang, Alliance of Splendor) into Stun MOBs.
Beast farm may also be good for you at that level with Great Wolf.
You Wolf may have top equipment, so you may do okay in VoS, but I would wait until 60 of so - personally. My summoner was not pleased when I went hunt there (he's 58, so level 60 Kai and Major Heal/Cure/etc. for summon). I will wait until 60 to go there on EE with Wolf.
Another good place to keep an eye on for the next few levels, is Giant Cave. It's a dungeon and there are some good rooms you can solo in there. The respawn is nice :)
Me and my roomate are gonna try duoing there on Summoner/EE with Great Wolf when I get back from vacation.
TOI 1st floor is also doable, and should be white to yellow/pink. Mob density in those rooms is high, though, and they do stun a lot.
Forsaken Plains > Outlaw Forestst (both outdoor 1x HP mob areas) > Giant Cave (if you can handle a room there) > Apostate (ditto) > Beast Farm > VoS (can be difficult with your heals and the mob battle prowess/levels) > TOI 1st Floor (cause of stun/mob density)
Not having VR/Resist Shock coupled with Low-HP Heals and hardly any cures (Purify/Vitalize) makes some areas a lot harder than they are for, say, an SE/EE or Bishop at same level with same Pet.
I tried Frozen Lab lastnight - the gargoyles are white to me.
My wolf & I together are doing good damage & decent exp.
Plus, the spawn is really good...
If I get bored there (grinding on the same mob) or my eyes start to hurt (from all the bright white.) I now have several good places to move too.
Just wondering if anyone can convert the places that were suggested, into levels for me.
Just so I know when I should move from one place to another, depending on my level.
I would normally ask my clan, however they are more Euro based & not always on at the same time as me. :)

Oh darn. I always forget about Frozen Lab. I've only been there a couple of times. That place is good, also!
Outlaw Forest: 52 - White/Green at 56
Apostate: 54 - Start Up Front, move Back as you level
Forsaken Plains: 56 - Stun at Tigers
Beast Farm: 58 - For the Good Spot
Giant's Cave: 58 - Start Up Front, MOB Density = HIGH
TOI 1st Flr: 58 - MOB Density = HIGH, Stun
Valley of Saints: 60 - Poison, Uncurable Bleed, Backstab, Switch, Warpers, Splitters, Big Nukes/M.Crits
There are probably a couple other places, also, like Frozen Lab :)
My Summoners/ EE are not yet high enough to know of the other (higher-level) spots.
If you go deeper into frozen lab you should be able to find the steel golem groups, which are very good xp & die easily. The spiders near them are also sword weak. You should also pick up the quest Rafforty offers, complete the 1st one, then take the 2nd (ice merchants dream), you can trade the quest items for mats.
Are PPs a good class for levelling a wolf up with? My friend gave me a +10 Yaksa Mace which was gathering stoor in his WH as a gift for christmas and since i've always fancied levelling a wolf, I've been thinking about a class to do just that with, with this new weapon which'll come in handy no doubt. (Can obviously exchange at mammon for something else!) So yeah, what's PP like with wolf? Is there an even better class for levelling the wolf with?

Depends what characters you have already by way of support. Do you have a box buffer/healer already?
I raised my wolf on a BH and I lvld it exclusively in catas/necros by aoeing single rooms at a time, keeping the wolf at a safe distance. There were occasional instances where I had it attack a mob by accident and it got dropped in 3 hits, and it was already 5x. From 15-54 don't even try to have it assist you, it is far too weak, even with the highest armor/weapon combo.
Once its 55 and you have decent gear for it, its good to go for just about any class (on similar lvl mobs of course). After I got mine to 66 on my BH, I started using the wolf on my TK and have been enjoying it since, the wolf is now 72 and close on its way to 73.

That thread isn't really relevant. A prophet has more efficient healing than a War Cryer, and a Prophet-buffed Great Wolf would be greater in stats and damage mitigation (due to resist buffs, in some areas) than a War Cryer buffed great Wolf.
War Cryers have greater personal DPS than a Prophet, but if you have ever played a Summoner you would know that the additional DPS was hardly needed to level at a very fast pace.
Prophet Heal > Chant of Life. VR is often overrated, and will hardly help you if you pull a train onto your wolf. Know this from experience with wolf (recent testing) and Kai/Cursed Man.
If a Prophet-buffed Cursed Man can solo IT with a Necro healing (pretty much same as Prophet Heal), then a Prophet with with a prophet-buffed Great Wolf should have no problems. I think a WC/Overlord with equivalent buffs would need some help breaking the room.
Resists, Zerk, and Holy Weapon start mattering more at higher levels, if you are looking to maximize XP gain. Both are more than adequate, but I dunno if I would classify one as being clearly better than the other, since some players will hate to melee with the summon (and prefer to play it as a Summoner, instead).
I've never tried a prophet with a wolf, but I know from experience with my WC that tanking with the wolf is no fun at all. Maybe it would be different with a prophet, but having the wolf tanking without VR and only low hp heals still sounds tough. Will the mp last and will you have time to do anything else than spam heals?
When I play my WC I'm wear heavy armor and tank with soulcry turned on. I try to avoid getting aggro on the wolf. I have a lot more pdef and can use drain to heal if I have to.
I think the combined damage output of the WC and the wolf is pretty hard to beat, especially if you're just going to stand there with the prophet and spam heals. But if you hate to melee then WC is clearly the wrong choice.

Yes, but WC Drain is such a huge waste of mana. That is fine, though. I do use it when I solo my OL, cause there is nothing else. I just hate using it... 170+ MP for a low damage drain (which = low heal coming back) makes me mad, Lol.
A Prophet heals much better than a WC. 450+ Heals for 52 Mana is okay. An SE is blowing 100+ Mana for 700'ish Heals that cast Slower. A Prophet should be able to do okay, unless they get overly-ambitious (cause it's hard to find a challenging place that doesn't really put a dent in you MP Bar or slow your XP to a crawl in such a setup). I personally hate trivial XP spots, unless on a fast-killing ranged class.
My EE can tank his Great Wolf in Catas using Greater Heals that heal for less than a Prophet Heal (due to skill level), so I am pretty sure a Prophet can have a Great Wolf Tank.
Put Top Gears on it. Buff Zerk, and then Buff Greater Shield to get back some of the P.Def (you really want the Atk Speed from Zerk). If you pick you areas nicely, you will be able to buff down mob dmg with resist buffs, and augment your Wolf's damage, in places where Undead's exist, by quite a bit. There are benefits to Prophets with a Wolf, just like there are benefits to War Cryers (VR). But, if you pick your spots nicely you will be able to level up quite fast with a Great Wolf (understanding the huge XP drain it is, since you have to level it) with no downtime and no problems with healing.
I have a thing against meleeing with Mystic classes. I hate it. That's why I did most of my levels on OL with it sitting in a corner to buff me while I killed with a nuker/sub.
I level my PP with my great wolf right now & it's awesome!
I next to never have to heal my wolf, because of where I hunt...
(the places mentioned in this thread)
I have full heavy Zubei armour on my PP, +7 BG dual samuari swords & my wolf has good gear. :)
My PP does decent damage alone, but when my wolf is fighting along side, easy, fast kills & I always have MP left over (after buffing both wolf and myself) for any spam heals needed.
By the end of my 20 minute round buffs. I have a full bar of MP ready to go for the next round.
I switch between playing on my PP & Nuker class, based on my vitality.
One thing I know, I like so much better on my PP v.s Nuker. When I'm soloing with my Nuker, I always have to teleport back to town to get re-buffed. With my PP I don't have to tele anywhere, I just buff on the spot & start again!
