Int or M.atk?

Which is more important to have: more INT or more matk? Or are they both the same? I'm thinking of getting a Magic Power SA on my SoM, while decreasing the amount of INT and increasing my WIT on my sorc . Will curses and magic attacks land more often if I increase my Matk, or does more INT result in the succession of curses?

Int is the stat modifier that directly correlates with M Atk. Higher int = higher m atk and vise versa. I've little actual experience playing a sorc but I always thought that higher Int was the way to go. However I have heard that the Magic Power SA is terrible when compared to Acumen, especially on an A Grade weapon such as the SoM.

Curses land rates are indeed affected by higher m atk, it also makes your magic spells deal more damage.

This and this only

+3 Sword of Miracles Acumen

+3 Dark Crystal Robe

+4 int, +4 wit, -8men
+4 con, -4 str

Int boost is much more than mattk boost

+4 INT
Increases damage of magic attacks and success rate of curse spells.

+4 WIT
Increases chance of magic critical hits, casting speed, resistance to Hold, resistance to curses (such as HP degeneration, decreased HP recovery rate, increased skill re-use time, and decreased effect of heals).

+4 CON
Increases maximum HP and CP, HP recovery speed, weight limit, underwater breath gauge, shock resistance, and bleeding resistance.
in case you have to choose between m.attack and cast speed ....
wit boost or acumen sa is better than int boost/m.attack, because
damage from magic skills is squere quater related to yours m.attack. And acumen is directly related to yours cast speed.

I mean if you want to make twice more damage, you have to rise yours m.attack x4 times.
Thanks for all of your advice :D

Someone said that +Wit no longer effects Resist hold, resist Curse (I know it sais it does on the L2 website but I guess they have changed it...

Which sux because I was starting to buy more conservative tats for human fighter.
Yellow on top of sky blue, Lol.

Some people just love doing rediculously stupid things.

INT increases your M.Atk. It't about 5% per INT. WIT does the same for casting speed.

The stats are a really low effect on resistance towards debuffs. It's better to get the buffs and/or set bonuses if that is a concern.
