Peculiarity in a L2 replay

I was bored the other day, tired of bots, so I decided to put up a "Wizard of Oz" style bot trap. You know, the bots follow the golden trail and are eventually led into certain death...

Anyways, I recorded everything and while I was watching the replay I noticed something... weird...

Few seconds before the end of the replay you can see an S Grader Dagger log in RIGHT ON TOP OF THE DEAD BOTS PILE :confused:

So Im a little puzzled cause... What are the odds of that happening?? Was he related to the bots?? And if so, how did he log in that spot?? Coincidence?

why are you allow to use this nick??

maybe you happened to pile the bots on a CH port spot, or something.

The bot guardian (enforcer) is always a dagger.

Every time I mess up with bots, this dagger enforcer come and rez all the bots and go red on me.... lol
The dagger you saw is da' pimp pretty much....

So use a 2nd account alt to kill the bots while your high level main waits around the corner. The bot enforcer shows and goes red on your alt, then you might get drops when you kill the red with your main.

That will hurt the bots more than their deaths.

P.S.: I'm not upset about he killing me. In fact, I didnt even see him when I was playing, he did not kill me. I just noticed him spawning there while I was reviewing the replay.

its possible he keeps that toon logged there to do exactly that.. kill anyone who messes with his bots.

But either way, this needs to be investigated, and those bots as well as whoever the owner was protecting them need to be banned.

Update: Just took a look at the sky out my window.. Haven't seen any pigs yet

Do clan hall ports take you so close to aggro mob groups?

I figured its possible he spawned on the other side of the pit, and started walking in.. And you only saw him appear when he got in range, as opposed to when he ported in

Actually, you can move the character in the replay and get closer... Just use the arrow keys. Hold them down in the direction you want to go and after a few seconds it will "force" the character to move. I did that and got close enough to see... At least it works for me... I saw him spawn on top of them bots

I don't know maybe I wasn't watching close enough, but I saw him spawn 1/2 way across the pit and start running towards you while you started walking up the ramp. Do you have all your NPC/PC range filters set to max? or ..?

Theres also another eternal bot group in ketra, and so in a lot of places... useless to report... dunno why they don't get banned. They also have a red dagger and once he dropped stuff.

I got all my limits maxed out
