This might have been said but i think it bears repeating....
I am pretty Livid about the goggles mask and hat being non-tradeable AND that each take 2 slots. The party mask is only one slot so i dont see why tha black mask should be 2. and as far as being non tradable thats just stupidity imo.

I got 3x riders goggles and today had many +14 werapons but whats the point to trade it for next goggles ? ... I fail it for +15 but its better than this non tradeable goggles lol

Even before this question, will our current scroll count be deleted during the 7/7 update ? It would be a shame to lose 794 scrolls before I can even use them (waiting till i get 1k of scrolls).
To all GM's: Make drop rate much more frequent and you bypass the problem with bots making all the money from selling the stuff (everyone can get many from grinding), you also bypass the amount of adena people drop into purchasing the items in general. I know this probably was set up as an adena sink, but the scrolls are selling for less than what you set up from NPC. So no adena going back into sink, but into bot and other players pockets. But probably more bots. Also the rewards brackets are horrible for the enchant rate. Most players now don't need all the enchant scrolls (unless they were Blessed Enchanted Scrolls). The really new players could use them, but they can get them pretty easily now as well. But I think if the drop rate was much much more, then nobody would complain that much. Everyone is trying to get over +13 and not being able to, while spending a lot of adena not being sinked, and while getting really nothing. Now I technically can't complain, I've gotten to +15 about 7 times, turned in 5 times, and blown up trying for +16, and +17. But I've also spent a lot of adena because the drop rate is horrible, probably have been through over 1500 scrolls. But the enchant rate is horribly hard getting to that high level and the rewards for anything below aren't even worth stopping. So everyone needing hats, S items, or trying to hit S80 have to keep going. Not saying the S weapons and S80 stuff should be easy to get, just make the rewards a little more frequent. The idea of vita pops or buff juices (like cocktails or something of that nature) would make it more rewarding. But enchanting over and over and over and over for nothing gets repetitive and infuriating. Our events should be rewarding and fun and most of us aren't getting all of this. The lucky few who get to +22 will say it's great, but most won't get there and we know this. But let us get something out of the event besides D and C grade enchants. The kind of which we no longer really need and worth value has severly declined. The lack of dedication to the game events and suggestions by the people here seem to direct the game on the decline and we the players love the game. We just need a little more love from the makers as well.
The rewards of this event are cool. but unlike other events
this one needs much luck(0.15% chance per weapon to get to +19 if the success rate for every level is 2/3)
I wasted 350 scrolls... reward? The best i could do is a +11 weapon and I'm still happy cause I had chances for an S weapon.
From me big thanks to ncsoft because I enjoyed a wonderful event in mid-summer.
So,has any one actually figured out the Enchant Rates for these staffs? Are they like actuall weapons,if they are I feel like doing some major weapon enchants lol,if they arn't beh never mind lol.

I have been enchanting since event has started and been pretty lucky,only got to +15 as my highest,but did it twice,and if that is the actuall enchant rates,I need to try enchanting actuall weapons after this event. Thing i was wondering about is the enchant Rates,if any one has figured em out yet.
I've gotten 3 to 14 or 15 and then blew all of them trying to go higher. I did get a Shadow Item Black Mask from 7 this morning though, didn't wanna have nothing to show from the event even if it's temporary >.>
Pretty fun event I think. The only changes I would want are quicker enchant times and getting rid of the lower enchant scrolls and replacing them with buff pots or vita pots.
I'm getting my A duals again when BS of Mammon shows up later today and I'm scared of trying to get SA after blowing so many staves going to 4 this morning. Someone hold and comfort me!
Why can't NC ever get important event information right?
The event will run from June 30th, 2009 until July 7th, 2009. From July 7th until July 14th, no more event enchant scrolls will drop but you will still be able to purchase scrolls from Master Yogi and turn in any remaining event items. All event items (scrolls and staffs) will be deleted during the weekly server maintenance on July 14th.
This isn't correct is it? Because Yogi tells you the event is over and no more scrolls can be bought. I wish I hadn't sold off all my scrolls already, because now the price on them will sky rocket.
Lyzira, do you know if the event npc will still be around after July 14th to sell Yogi Staff (not the scrolls) and allow us to trade in for items?
Because I still have quite an amount to click off, and I doubt I'll be able to finish clicking them by Tuesday.

NC plz wake up soon... this quest is good i one way.. the bots don't have the best chances..
i like the idear with the 6 hours thing...
The Enchantment chance need to be higher... When you make it no trade/sell even't the bot's won't win this event, GOOD
And plz drop all the crap EAD/EWD/EAC/EWC make som nice event a prices insted no trade able.. Hats / mask's / belt's / cloak's / with B-rez, B-soe. And alot of Vitality pops they get ppl more active...
In that case the players who get is real players..
The event with stone's was allso good.. fire/water/earth........ And the chance for a getting S and S80 armor+weap is 100% nice....
Hope ppl from NC-soft think about this.... D and C item is OUT in event's (in my case allso B)

With the prices falling to 15k and below for the scrolls, it's possible to make profit from this event, but no human have can click that many scrolls. I did 1500 myself, took me like 1,5 hours just hot-keying + dragging. No human can endure more than this, so I (and most others probably) will just use the 24 free ones from now on. By all means, you can get lucky if you just don't turn it in for the crap awards, but the ones really profiting from this event are the bots and the scroll resellers (for the bots).
Yesterday someone in Aden (on Teon) got a +20 Yogi Staff and posted it in white chat... well now he has red 14 soul cry... I wanna have the same luck... :(
:DI wanted to cry..oh boo hoo...got 75m selling scrolls. hit +15 for an S tat necklace, and just moments ago..on the last day of event mind you. I just nailed a +16 for the top 76 LS. By the way, now I need to sell it..lol. That was on Bartz.
My second server I nailed +15 not once..but 4 different times to land 2 tat earrings and 2 tat necklaces..on Teon.
oh poor me and this lame ol event... :D:eek::cool:

Master Yogi will not be around after maintenance on the 14th. You have less than 24 hours to get everything enchanted and turned in!
All the same, I always try to find something positive and take advantage as possible.
As a casual player, whether the soulless profit or not, I have some chance to get "more than I had before" with all of these events....so of course they are worth trying.
I basically tried about 35 staffs.
I was able to get a few to +10 where they blew up.
I ended up selling a few hundred scrolls and getting a Tat Ring at +15 and a couple sets of riding goggles.
I probably only made a few million selling scrolls--but as I said, it was adena I didn't have before, so no worries.
I did : 271 staffs, 981 overenchants, 1794 scrolls.
For rewards, I took :
4 "+15" : 1 Tateossian Necklace, 2 Tateossian Earrings, 1 Tateossian Ring
2 "+7" : 1 Shadow Top Hat, 1 Shadow Rider Googles
1 "+5" : 2 Fireworks, 1 Large Firework
1 "+4" : 1 Firework
(the last two were to finish my last scrolls :p)
Almost 1,000 overenchants, that's quite a lot and I'm far from the expected 67% chance of success. So basically, if it was programmed to be 2/3, the variations are very large and the random number generator is very bad.
Anyway, with 73.2% chance of success, the theorical chances to go to +X were...
+4 - 73.2%
+5 - 53.6%
+6 - 39.2%
+7 - 28.7%
+8 - 21.0%
+9 - 15.4%
+10 - 11.3% (around 1 on 10)
+11 - 8.2%
+12 - 6.0%
+13 - 4.4%

That's, of course if you don't stop to take a reward at a previous tier. And it doesn't mean that every 500 attempts you should get a S80 Weapon. Also, it's not 500 scrolls but 500 staffs. Oh, suddenly, a light! I understand why this event was stupid! :eek:

This event just confirms my suspicions. If everyone else has had 75% then I have to let someone else do my enchanting for me.
The sample of 1784 OE's is big enough for statistical inference to be accurate within a margin of error of √(0.67(1-0.67)/1784) = ~1.1%
This means that these numbers can not be explained away by "bad luck".
I can think of several reasons for my results:
1. There's a trick to enchanting. Dancing naked, praying to paagrio, licking a frogs back, or something even less appealing.
2. L2God/GM/NcSoft hates me and has cursed my account with permanent bad luck.
3. Local lag/ping or network issues interfers with korean pseudo random. If you happen to live in the wrong place, tough luck.
I tend to think the 2nd one is most likely. Either way I /fail @ L2.
There was an event where if you failed going higher you get a random item that is 3x lower. This would have been nice for this event after all the clicking. Fail at +14 and you get a random prize from +11 and below. Base prize of fire works, lol.

First, licking a frog's back, if you enjoy it, is illegal in 49 states and most of the countries of the EU. It is an old tradition in Kentucky.
Second, I have a long standing over-enchant "procedure" that almost always works! First, you say the magic phrase near the burning bush, you talk to the invisible horseman....no wait....um....you turn counterclockwise (or was that clockwise?) 6.5 times though you MUST start facing south-southEAST, you put your right foot in, you put your right foot out, you put your right foot in, and you shake it all about.....
I promise this will work as well for you as it does for me!
