Yes, credit is given at the bottom of the page, but for example, you have a wrong link to EllieBelly's site. Being it a wiki site, it could follow the normal wiki quotation schema, but it is really on you...
Stolen? We've made it very clear at the start that all the content was gathered from other sources and used as a means to help the community find all the information in one, easy to read, place (with all the proper credits given at the bottom). I really don't know how else to make that any clearer.

Please feel free to continue digging through all the sources individually. Each site has amazing details on what's to come (no doubt about that and kudos to them). It just takes a little bit of time and effort to sift through it all. We are simply helping to bring it all together making it easier for everyone in trying to find this info.

Noone owns the information, you can own original works, but that is about it and doesn't count in this manner as long as proper credit is given. Just like people from elliebelly.net take from other sources (like playforum)
This is to pass out the information to the greater L2 community and compile a unified place of information instead of shattering the information about on many different forums, that makes decent information quite hard to find sometime.
There's no claim to original research in this article and wikipedia style source information is too hard to maintain considering how shorthanded we are in staff, so there's general credits at the bottom. And sure, its not the most accurate piece of information there is out there, but its a great attempt by Jayla and her crew to create a single place to find Freya information and I applaud her for it.

it isnt as though you were "inventing" some intellectual property (like a thesis on why x is y) you were translating 2nd hand information from a source that may or may not also be inventing things.
intellectual property rights go out the window on the internet, too. you arent publishing new music so this property you speak of really is only freely distributable by NCsoft by legal right.

i just wonder how accessible it is; in honesty Stratics and EOGamer are sites that span many games. they have audiences with a broader collective, and power to advertize L2 on their other game's sites.
why have L2 info so isolated? i know you work hard on the information and your website has a high activity forum, but the only players seeing the information are die-hard L2 fans. a new player to the game cant find the info here, and i'd bet they would stumble on Stratics and EOGamer before they found Elliebelly.

But they can compliment each other greatly.

Well, intellectual property rights (which I'm not very fond of, but we have them now ...) don't care about it if someone is making a profit with his works, letting everyone see them for the good of mankind, or wanking to them in the darkness of his own bedroom. They're theirs, and unless you have a permission or licence to distribute them, you aren't allowed to.
EDIT: Just to be clear, facts cannot be copyrighted, only specific presentations of them can be (and then only when they are non-trivial; "listing all people with their phone numbers in Chicago sorted by their last name, then first name" is an example of trivial and thus non-copyrightable collection of facts). So take the facts from wherever you can and present them in your own words and formatting, and you're in the clear. But don't take other people's work and copy it verbatim.
Information compilations such as this falls under fair use as well when there's credits listed.
You're getting stuff confused here (or maybe your lawyer didn't explain properly :)). The "fair use" exception applies to intellectual property where there is a copyright assigned to someone. Facts don't need that exception, since they generally (IMPORTANT: seek legal advice from someone who's permitted to work as a lawyer in your jurisdiction for the exceptions as pertaining to you personally before you assume "generally = always") can't be copyrighted.
Information compilations generally (IMPORTANT: see above about "generally" not being "always") are copyrighted when there's a significant amount of work involved in creating the compilation, which for example is the case for an encyclopaedia or a dictionary. There, you are permitted under "fair use" exception to copy parts of the work as a quote (What is still considered as being just a "part"? Check with your lawyer. It varies wildly from place to place.), as you would with any other copyrighted work. If you want the whole deal, you have to write your own compilation of the same facts, with your own words and your own research behind it.

If you personally choose to not utilize our extensive network of scholars (we do far more than just translate) because you feel uncomfortable among high level players or people from Asia, that's absolutely OK. I'm not one for a fansite war, as I truly believe each has their own special offer to the community. However, I need to step in here as what you're saying is rather kinda silly as you're comparing apples to oranges. If you add up the views from all four pages of your forums, you get 876,412. This dates all the way back to 2008. The networked fansites can achieve this many L2 related pageviews in 3-6 months, and this is not including any forum activity.
I'm not trying to knock your forums in any shape or form as it is something to be proud of, but rather just pointing out that your forums are used in a different manner than the forums you're trying compare figures against.
I am not sure of the legal angles (if any) on this issue but what I feel is fair would be:
-If a site has some associates that make some work (tests, quests, translations, etc) in order to publish it to the specific site, then that should work should not be able to be reproduced without clear permision of the site
-If the work is done for anyone intrested, then it should be free for anyone to reproduce with just the proper credits.
