As we recently posted (http://boards.lineage2.com/showthread.php?t=210715), we will be merging all North American servers on October 5, 2010. We would like to give you, the community, the chance to name the new NA server. We will be accepting name nominations until Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 10:00 AM PDT. After the nominations have been gathered, we will put up a poll with the top picks for players to vote on. Name nominations must be part of the official Lineage II lore. For instance, names such as Darion or Valakas would be appropriate.

first of all if my Server gets named after some wannabe pro dude/chick that puts his name on here , me and my buddies will all quit and ncsoft gets 700 Dollars less every month .

I was in agreement here until I read re-naming it "Ketra"
If we are going down to one ... what an honor to a great L2 player who has passed away. I think Ketra Server would be awesome! I would be honored every day to log onto Ketra. :D

You're thinking Keta, the leader of Myrmidons. Not Ketra, the orc tribe.
We all know the koreans watched lord of the rings, and f'ed up the class balance line. Thats why these names are more fitting, they got all they're ideas for the game off of lord of the rings.
Someone posted my idea already, I guess great minds think alike ^^.
Since it's part of game lore that we have 2 top deities (Einhasad for order and creation, and Gran Kain for chaos and destruction), we should name the servers after them. My suggestion:
Gran Kain for NA
Einhasad for EU
(i would say just Kain for NA, but that name has been used before, however I am not against bringing it back :D )
Antharas for NA valakas for EU
Or Baium for NA and Frintezza for EU
Also you can put the names of the first clans ever created on our official servers the first clan from NA servers will give the name to NA server and the first clan from teon to EU server! I dont have a clue which clans are they btw, but it would be a good way to honor them too!
It sorta fits the whole merging aspect of this situation, a new name for a new land.

I'd like to submit what I suggested when the Kain/Lionna merger occurred, "Perios".
Though, seeing as how times have changed, I would also like to submit that the new server name be "Dusk".
The name of the chronicle usually should have something to do with the lore (not sure what high five has to do with the lore but....)
Remember that once upon a time there was the high 5 who brought an end to tyranny they were the mantis, the snake, the tigress, the....no wait that was kungfu panda nvm then... lol
