Spezion, Teredor, Veridan, Kechi, Michaelo, Fortuna, Felicia, Isadora, Octavis, Istina, Balok, Barler, Antharas (instanced version).

The "Breath of Shilen" debuff has 5 stages:

Stage 1: Increases HP recovery. Duration: 10 minutes.
Stage 2: Increases Hp recovery, increases Dark resistance by 5, increases XP acquired while hunting. Duration: 10 minutes
Stage 3: Frequent deaths cause attributes to decrease significantly. Duration: 5 minutes
Stage 4: Stage 4: Frequent deaths cause attributes to decrease significantly. Duration: 5 minutes
Stage 5: Frequent deaths cause attributes to decrease significantly. Duration: 5 minutes

The "Breath of Shilen" effects of Stage 3 and above can be weakened to stage 2 through the "Newbie Guide" or "Adventurers' Guide" found in each village.
"Battlefield Death Syndrome" still applies in the same manner when a player gets killed on a battlefield.

PvP changes
Players can no longer lower the their PK count by using the quest "Repent Your Sins".
Players can only lower their PK count by using their Individual Fame at a "Reputation Manager" NPC.
New Reputation System:
"Karma" has been changed to "Reputation".
Players become Chaotic when their Reputation is negative.
Players become Lawful when their Reputation is positive, and their character names turn green.
Decrease in Reputation points
The reputation points of Chaotic / Normal characters decrease proportionally to their PK count.
Chaotic characters with a PK count of 31 or higher are given an item drop penalty, and augmented weapons are dropped without the augmentation.
When a Lawful character performs a PK, his/her reputation points decrease as following:
PK count of 30 or lower: Reputation becomes 0
PK count of 31 or higher: Reputation points decrease proportionally to the PK count
Increase of Reputation points
Chaotic characters can increase their Reputation points by gaining XP through hunting. However, the player obtains Reputation points only and XP or SP does not increase.
Chaotic characters do not gain any Reputation points when they are killed.
Reputation does not increase higher than 0 when points are increased by gaining Exp.
To achieve a Reputation higher than 0, players must kill other Chaotic characters to gain a fixed amount of Reputation points.
When killing the same chaotic character, players will receive Reputation points at a certain interval only.
Duel / Party Duel System
Fixed some typos on duel system's system messages.
Change in the starting location of party duel to suit the settings for 7-member parties.

Other changes

Skills obtainable from a Trainer NPC can now be learned from the [Learn Skill] tab of the Skill window.

Skills obtained from items or clan/subclass certified skills can be acquired as before.
The Divine Inspiration skill can now be learned from an item (a spellbook).
Forgotten Scrolls are now dropped by common monsters.

2. Awakening

Shilen's indirect intervention roused the leader of the Giants, "Hermuncus," who was sealed in Ye Sagira. Hermuncus promises the player the power to confront the Destruction in return for releasing him from the seal. The player can "Awaken" by receiving the Giant hero's power after finding and releasing Hermuncus, who is sealed in the Disconnected Labyrinth in the depths of Talking Island.
When a third class character reaches level 85, the ancient Giant King Hermuncus sends a message directly to the mind of the hero in the Material Plane, who can release him from his seal. The character can check the message on the dialog window.

The character who has the "Pact of Righteous Path" item can Awaken at the ancient Giant statue located in the "Reliquary of the Giants":
You can obtain the "Pact of Righteous Path" item by completing the "Seize Your Destiny" quest.
The Reliquary of the Giants, where the ancient Giant statues are located, can be reached freely through Gatekeeper Rachel in Talking Island Village.

When a character Awakens, all previously learned skills are replaced by new skills. The character receives SP and a certain quantity of Essence of the Giants according to the level of skill enchantement.

A character that received the power of the ancient Giant heroes Awakens, and obtains a chest that contains their powers:
Five 100,000,000 SP scrolls
A class-specific cloak
Two weapon attribute change crystals (S-Grade)
Five Elixirs of Blessing.

A main class that completes Awakening can start to use a new means of transport, "Jump." However, characters in a chaotic state cannot use Jump.

The update issues all characters who are level 76 or above with a single "Stone of Destiny." A character that has both "Stone of Destiny" and "Pact of Righteous Path" can Awaken into a different class.
E.g.: A Maestro normally Awakens as a Tyrr Warrior, but with both "Stone of Destiny" and "Pact of Righteous Path" it is possible to Awaken as a Sigel Knight, Othell Rogue, Yul Archer, Feoh Wizard, Iss Enchanter, Wynn Summoner or Aeore Healer.
The "Stone of Destiny" disappears even if you Awaken as your designated class.
The "Stone of Destiny" will only be granted once at the time of the update.

Classes available for Awakening are as follows:

Crystallization System

After the fourth class transfer, all classes can perform Crystallization.
Crystallizing an item of R-Grade or higher yields an R-Grade crystal, and there is also a chance of obtaining one of the following items:

R-Grade Enchant Scroll
Rare Soul Crystal Fragment
R-Grade item crafting material

Addition of a functionality on the UI that makes it easier to check items obtainable through Crystallization.

Soul Crystal System

Addition of Standard and rare Soul Crystals that can be added to R-Grade weapons:

Type
Soul Crystal Type
Standard
Red/Blue/Green Soul Crystal (R-Grade)Standard
Red/Blue/Green Soul Crystal (R95-Grade)Standard
Red/Blue/Green Soul Crystal (R99-Grade)Rare
Yellow/Teal/Purple Soul Crystal (R-Grade)Rare
Yellow/Teal/Purple Soul Crystal (R95-Grade)Rare
Yellow/Teal/Purple Soul Crystal (R99-Grade)
Weapons imbued with a special ability by using a rare Soul Crystal can have another special ability added.
R-Grade Soul Crystals can be purchased by collecting enough "Adventurer's Marks," which are obtained as rewards from certain instanced dungeons.
During Crystallization, there is a chance of obtaining a "Rare Soul Crystal Fragment." Ten of these fragments can be exchanged for a Rare Soul Crystal with a "Merchant of Mammon."
Bound items cannot be added with rare Soul Crystals, and it is also impossible to remove Soul Crystals.
Imbuing a weapon of R-Grade or higher with a special ability requires a "Gemstone - R-Grade," which can be purchased from a "Merchant of Mammon."

Craft System

Dwarfs can craft items of R-Grade or higher, regardless of their class.
Level 85+ characters who have completed their fourth class transfer automatically acquire the following skills:

Dwarfs: Create Item Skill Level 11.
All races: Create Common Item Skill Level 10.

All races can craft R-Grade belts, shirts, bracelets and elixirs.
Only Dwarfs can craft R-Grade Soulshots, Spiritshots and Blessed Spiritshots.
Addition of recipes to allow other players to craft R-Grade Soulshots, Spiritshots and Blessed Spiritshots with normal crafting skill. There is a low chance of obtaining recipes from the Adventurers' Guildsmen that appear in certain instanced dungeons by using Seals of Loyalty, Pledge, Sincerity or Spirit.
Conventional materials cannot be used to craft items of R-Grade or higher.
Players acquire "Unidentified" items by crafting weapons, armor or accessories of R-Grade or higher, and there is also a low chance of obtaining "Standard" or "Blessed" items.
The following materials required for crafting items of R-Grade or higher can be purchased from grocers in each village:

Crafting Solvent
Dualsword Craft Stamp - R-Grade.

Changes to the Elemental Attribute System

Addition of a system for changing the Elemental Attribute of S and S80-Grade weapons using "Attribute Change Crystal - S-Grade" that are obtainable after Awakening.
"Attribute Change Crystal - S-Grade" can only be acquired from the class-specific chests received after Awakening.
"Attribute Change Crystal - S-Grade" cannot be exchanged, dropped, destroyed, traded via Auction House, used to open a private store or mailed, but can be stored in a private warehouse.
An "Attribute Change Crystal - S-Grade" can be double-clicked to open the Attribute Change UI only when both the crystal and the weapon to change are in the inventory.
The attribute bestowed on the weapon may be changed to another by selecting one of the five attributes.
Attribute Change does not affect the enchantment, augmentation or attribute level of the weapon, and PvP weapons can also be changed.
Attribute Change cannot be used on bound weapons bestowed with an attribute.

Changes to Existing Items

S-Grade elixirs can now be used by characters who are level 84 or below.
Change of S84-Grade equipment to S80, enabling players to equip them from level 80. However, dual daggers can be equipped from level 81.
S80-Grade equipment also has varying set effects, depending on the number of pieces equipped.
The effects of S80-Grade PvP armor are applied separately from set armor effects, and require only the upper PvP armor to be equipped.
Change in all common items sold in shops or dropped by monsters to unidentified items.
Low S-Grade or lower (excluding Dynasty) unidentified items can be purchased from village traders.
Double-clicking an S-Grade or lower unidentified item gives a "Bound" or "Standard" item.
A bound weapon obtained from a C- to S-Grade unidentified item has a special ability chosen randomly from three available.
The randomly chosen special ability can be neither removed nor changed to another special ability.
Set armor effects of armor of S-Grade or lower still apply if a combination of "Bound" or "Standard" items of the same set are equipped.
Blacksmiths who can craft C-or D-Grade dual weapons can now craft C or D-Grade bound dual weapons.
Crafting bound dual weapons requires bound one-handed weapons and a small number of crystals.
Crafting the following C-Grade bound dual weapons requires bound one-handed weapons imbued with specific special abilities, and the crafted dual weapons do not have those special abilities:

Addition of R-Grade "Stone of Life" and "Accessory-type Stone of Life."
Addition of new R-Grade dyes that can be used by characters who have completed the fourth class transfer:

A bug where shoulder ornaments do not appear correctly when a male Dark Elf equips "Dynasty Leather Armor - Dagger Master," has been fixed.
Addition of no-Grade to R-Grade "Limitless Quiver" and "Limitless Bolt Container" which can be used endlessly.
Conventional arrows can still be used, but players can no longer obtain them by hunting monsters.

5. Subclass

Change in rules for subclass selection:

When selecting a subclass, players cannot select an occupation group to which their main class belongs.
Players cannot choose a secondary occupation group that is the same as the class for which the fourth class transfer was completed.
E.g.) If the main class is Duelist, then Dreadnought, Duelist, Titan, Grand Khavatari or Maestro cannot be chosen.

Addition of Subclass Master "Raina." Players must talk to "Raina" to create a new subclass or reset their subclass.

The previous subclass change function of NPCs has been deleted.
Subclass master "Raina" has been placed in Talking Island Village.

Addition of a new class changing option in the Character Info window (Alt+T) instead of allowing subclass change through an NPC. Players can change their subclass freely in all areas except certain areas.

The buff " Identity Crisis" is applied when a player changes subclass. The player goes through a period of identity crisis for 15 seconds, suffering reduced combat capabilities and being unable to use skills and items (except potions). The player cannot change their subclass while this buff is in effect.

"Class Change Certificates" equal to the number of subclasses generated at the time of the update will be issued to each player. Unlike Subclass Reset, a "Class Change Certificate" allows a player to change class while maintaining the current level. The basic rules are the same as Subclass Reset.

All skills are deleted and the player learns the skills of the new class.

One of the subclasses can be changed to a Dual Class:
Dual Class is obtained by completing the "Split Destiny" quest.
Level limit is changed from 80 to 99.
Dual Classes can also Awaken by completing the "Seize Your Destiny" quest.

All acquired subclass certified skills have been reset. All certificates players had have also been deleted.

Addition of Subclass Certifier "Tatum":
"Tatum" has been placed in Talking Island Village.
All previous subclass certification functions of Grand Masters have been deleted.

Both main class and subclass can receive the effects of subclass certified skills.

Clan Wars

Clan wars have been standardized and no longer occur endlessly without any purpose or result. All war information including Mutually Declared / Declared On / Declared War is reset, and clan wars will now proceed as follows.

Declaring War
War can be declared by clans of level 3 or higher and with at least 15 clan members, and the clans declared on must also satisfy the same requirements.
A clan can declare war on up to 5 clans. However, there is no limit on how many times a clan can be declared on by other clans.
Declaring war can be done by "/DeclareWar [Clan Name]" or using the "Declare War" option on the Clan window.
After declaring war, there is a preparation period of 3 days (72 hours). The clan war starts automatically after 3 days, but if the opposing clan also declares war during the preparation period, the clan war starts immediately.
Current clan war information can be checked by using the commands /DeclaredList, /DeclaredOnList and /ClanWarList. War information can also be checked on the Clan window.
The declaring clan can retract the war declaration during the 3-day preparation period.

Progress of Clan War
The character that declares the Clan War loses 100% Exp. if he/she is killed by an opposing clan member. The same also applies during a Mutually Declared war.
After declaring war, same normal field rules apply during the 3-day preparation period before the Clan War begins. Therefore, if a clan member strikes an unrelated player during this period the clan member's name becomes purple, and killing an opponent that does not retaliate gives the clan member chaotic disposition (PK).
Killing an unretaliating character of normal disposition during a Clan War (Mutually Declared) has no effect on Reputation (previously Karma) or PK count. However, PvP count increases.
Even during a Clan War, attacking an opposing clan member requires forced attack, which turns the attacker's name purple.
The war situation can be checked using the War Information option on the Clan Action window. The war situation is displayed as Dominating / Superior / Evenly Matched / Inferior / Overwhelmed.

Discerning Friend from Foe
Each member of the declared-on clan is displayed with an enemy mark which is visible only to members of the declaring clan.
During the 3-day period after the war declaration, enemy characters bear a declaration symbol in the middle of their name (a single sword).
When the Clan War begins, enemy characters bear a war symbol in the middle of their name (two crossed swords).

End of Clan War and Outcome
A Clan War ends automatically 3 weeks (21 days) after it starts and the outcome is then calculated.
The outcome of a Clan War is influenced by the kill and death counts of clan members from both sides.
After a Clan War ends, neither clan can declare war on each other for a week.
A clan can declare defeat to the opposing clan a week (7 days) after the Clan War starts. Declaring defeat can be done with "/DeclareDefeat [Clan Name]" or using the "Declare Defeat" option on the Clan Action window.
A clan cannot declare war on a clan to which it has declared defeat within the last 3 weeks (21 days), and neither can war be declared upon it by this opposing clan.
The Clan War ends when a clan declares defeat, and is recorded as a win by the opposing clan.

While a Castle Siege is in progress, the rules for Castle Siege take precedence.

To investigate the cause of the Heavenly Island's crash and excavate the Giants' relics, the King of Aden dispatched a team of renowned scholars across the continent to Talking Island. Since then, the growth and sophistication of Talking Island have been rapid, helped by the existence of a great museum. Ravaged terrains, mysterious ancient creatures, and demonic beasts spawned from the dead are just some of the dangers that threaten the life of any visitor. But the temptation of the Giants' relics buried beneath the ruins attracted many well-renowned scholars to the site, along with a host of mercenaries to guard them.

Recommended character level: Level 1-20
Type: Solo hunting zone

Players can try the "Kookaru" race while traveling to the Ye Sagira Ruins.

Labyrinth of Belis

Harnak, a king of the Giants in the past, suffered severely from a delusional jealousy of his queen Belis, caused by his obsession over her great beauty. His jealousy became so severe that he wouldn't even let other people see her. This eventually culminated in the construction of a labyrinth in which he imprisoned his wife. It was known as the "Labyrinth of Belis." At the moment, it is in the hands of a secretive organization that took over it.

Recommended character level: Level 19+
Type: Solo instanced dungeon
Hunting zone features:

The labyrinth is a part of the first class transfer quest, an instanced dungeon which players must clear with the help of an "Infiltration Officer."
The labyrinth can be entered by talking to "Sebion" in Exploration Zone 5 of the Ye Sagira Ruins (after having completed the relevant quest).
There is a unique way to clear each chamber, and players must satisfy the given requirements to proceed to the next chamber.
Players that fail to clear the instanced dungeon can seek help from the "Newbie Helper" at the entrance to the Labyrinth of Belis.

Harnak Underground Ruins

This place is regarded as the tomb of "Harnak," a great king of the Giants in the past. When Harnak learned that his queen, whom he had imprisoned in the labyrinth, was seduced by Gran Kain, he was overcome by wrath and murdered Belis in a rage. He then secluded himself somewhere deep underground, never to emerge again. Scholars are almost certain that this is where Harnak had spent the last of his days.

Recommended character level: Level 85-90
Type: Party hunting zone
Hunting zone features:

Harnak Underground Ruins comprises three floors with eight chambers on each floor.
Each chamber of Underground 2F and 3F has a seal, and players can remove the seal by using items obtained from hunting monsters.
Each time a seal is broken, the player receives additional buffs while "Noctum" and "Demonic Noctum" appear in the chamber.
When all chambers are cleared of "Noctums" and "Demonic Noctums," the raid monsters "Harnak's Wraith" and "Harnak's Evil Spirit" appear in the center of Underground 2F and 3F.
With the "Quest Zone System" in use, players can obtain additional rewards by staying in the zone to hunt, and the Quest Zone begins automatically when the party enters the Harnak Underground Ruins.
Players earn Contribution points when hunting monsters as a party, and receive additional points for hunting the key monsters of each chamber. Contribution points are tallied automatically.
The Quest Zone is reset every 3 hours, and players can receive the reward by reaching the Overall Contribution Target within the 3 hours. Highest contributors are given additional rewards.

Field of Dark Elven Village

Shilen's Fiend Monsters have overrun the field in front of Dark Elf Village.

Shilen's blood that rained down on the Material Plane sickened the continent. All the gatekeepers in the tower have been replaced by Senior Ivory Tower Wizards.

Recommended character level: Level 40-55
Type: Party hunting zone
Changes:

Addition of more level 50-55 monsters.
Addition of elevators for traveling between floors.
There are two new special monsters, "Accencio" and "Malicio."

"Accencio" is a monster that demands social actions from players.
"Malicio" teleports between specific areas when it sees a player.

Tower of Insolence

The rain of blood also fell on the tower of the foolhardy who dared to challenge the authority of the gods. The blood steeped through the tower walls to reach the corpses of high sorcerers that lay dormant inside the tower, and reanimated them with the life of the dead. It was first discovered a very long time ago by elementalists who could use magic of the highest order, but there was only a thin sliver of a gap that was barely enough to see what lies beyond.
However, the gap began to grow wider recently with the quickening of "Decaying Darkness Agahel," the Tenth Lord of Shilen inside Magmeld. The gap's existence was discovered by the Elven chieftain Asterios who was studying the Light Spirit Plane to revive the Mother Tree. Soon the interchange between dimensions became possible.

17. Campaigns

Campaign System

A campaign is a common quest carried out by everyone in the world and offers a range of experience.
Unlike most quests which require players to talk to a NPC directly to obtain a quest, the server announces the start of a campaign and players can choose to take part or not.
All characters in the server who meet the requirements for the given campaign are eligible to participate. Players can take part in the campaign by clicking the Campaign button displayed on the mini-map or the center of the screen and then pressing the Participate button.
When the target for the campaign is reached, every participant receives a reward, and high-ranking characters are given additional rewards depending on the campaign.
The campaign can start at any time during pre-designated hours and different campaigns may get under way in different servers at the same time.
The campaign target can vary according to the number of players in the server.
Tokens obtained from campaigns can be exchanged for items at the Royal Token Exchanger "Conrad" in Town of Aden.

18. Miscellaneous

Donation System for Rebuilding of Aden

It is time for everyone to unite their effort to rebuild the land of Aden, which was ravaged by the beastly fiends of Shilen. The people of Aden are in need of material assistance and warm helping hands. They need your help, now. Give them a ray of hope, so those suffering souls can find the strength to go on.

Association members have been dispatched to Talking Island Village and Giran Castle Town to aid in the rebuilding efforts. Daku can be found in Giran while Daki can be found in Talking Island.
Association NPCs give treasure chests in return for donations of various material items and crystals, and players can obtain a variety of items from those treasure chests.
Players must have plenty of material items in their inventory in order to donate for the cause of rebuilding Aden. Exchangeable treasure chests will not appear on the list if there are not enough material items to donate

Transformation

Item icon is now disabled when the player cannot use the transformation-specific item.
Change in the effect displayed during transformation / transformation cancelling.
Change in the appearance of the character sitting on a mount transformation.
Changed the base stats of all transformations to suit the changes to racial stats. However, please note that some transformations have independent stats that are different from the character's status.
Changed the skill name of the Mount skill used by Awakened classes.

Auction

Players can now obtain R-Grade or higher equipment and R-Grade consumables from auctions run by the "Item Broker."

Pets

Among Awakened classes, Wynn Summoners can summon multiple servitors at once:
Servitor information and actions can be checked by double-clicking the servitor as before.
The number of servitors that can be summoned at the same time vary according to the summon points assigned to the passive skill "Superior Summon Mastery."
Common commands and courses apply to all servitors at the same time, and specific skill commands are applied only to servitors that have specific skills.
Wynn Summoners can now use the skill "Summon Soul Shot" that has a chance of creating Beast Soulshots, Beast Spiritshots, and Blessed Beast Spiritshots used by their servitors.
Servitors no longer require any upkeep and can be kept until the summoner cancels the summon or the servitor is killed.
Change in the maximum level to which pets can evolve:
Previous: Level 86
New: Level 99
Characters with servitors can now also summon pets.
The system of transferring buffs from the master to the pet or servitor has been changed:

Type
Just Summoned
Master Receives buffs while summoned
Pet
Master's current buffs are transferred
Buffs not transferred
Servitor
Master's current buffs are transferred
Buffs received by the master are transferred

Deleted the "Attack" command from the "Siege Golem", and added the skill "Siege Punch" that allows the golem to attack all characters within range.
Added Pet Manager Ragraman on Talking Island.

Other Changes

Change in some of the terrains of Talking Island Village, Gludio Castle Town, Aden Castle Town, Giran Castle Town, Orc Village, Dwarven Village, Elven Village, Dark Elven Village and Kamael Village.
