eta: Pdef is not at least loosely based on CON anymore ? CON and MEN are listed both as factors for Mdef... must be typo.
Thank you!

I was wondering would common items be converted into unidentified items or will it apply to anything sold/dropped in shops starting from the point of the update?

The Vitality system changes looks interesting, but how will vitality be recovered? Will it depend on picking up vitality herbs?
Thankyou so much!

Its great to have them in black & white, and all your efforts are very appreciated!
Thanks :) It actually took me quite a while to get the formating right considering the amount of information.

I'm personally very excited by this update. So what's your favorite note?

Mine is: Clan Advent (level 5 clan skill): Increases P. Atk. and P. Def. of clan members by 3% and their HP/MP Recovery bonuses by 2 when the clan leader logs in. Level 1 effect is applied at the time of the clan leader's login, and the level increases every 10 minutes up to level 5.

PS: I'll try to answer your questions tomorrow
There is a typo for the fighter dwarf wit stat. It says 87, and it should be 37.
Excellent work Cryo. Do extend my compliment to everyone involved in the translation! :)
Interesting. Thanks.
In section 4 on Items it says that there are no R-grade Two-handed blunts.
There are no R-Grade or higher two-handed blunt weapons, and dual blunt weapons have been added.

Yet, in the Improved Enchant System and new Hero Weapons there are two-handed blunts mentioned.
Magical Two-handed Blunt Weapons - Increases M. Atk., M. Critical Damage and Casting Spd.
Infinity Retributer - Magical Two-Handed Blunt

Does this mean that there are R-grade two-handed blunts, just that all of them are mage weapons?

Change in the quests undertaken together by the Clan Academy apprentice and sponsor:

Additions:

Level 40+: Follow Me

Apprentice: Exp., SP, Academy Circlet
Sponsor: 300 Individual Fame points
Clan: 100 Clan Reputation points

Level 40+: Follow Me

Apprentice: Exp., SP, Mentor Ring
Sponsor: 2,000 Individual Fame points
Clan: 1,000 Clan Reputation points

Is the second quest suppose to be the level 70+ Come to me?

With people staying in the academy until third class change, was there a change in the number of people that can be in it. Or is it still limited to 20 academy members?
If you are a Titan and you decide to awaken to a Healer would you still be an orc Cryo?

or is it still not decided. I didnt see an answer in the patch notes.

When you use the stone of destiny to change your Titan main to a healer, you will remain as an Orc with Orc Mage basic stat, but with cardinal skills. If you want to know more, read in the post Kamael classes in GoD; I have posted a translation on how stone of destiny works :)
All learned transformations will be deleted? Also subclass transformations will be removed too?

+1

It's indeed a very very good and exciting work
First time I see that with Lineage 2
You won a customer again, me :D
is officially that clan wars are totally destroyed
time to quit
Thanks - but seems the latest PTS changes did not make it into this translation (have not checked everything, but since the changes to the race skills are not in the patch notes, I guess that the ton of other changes of the current PTS round are not in there, either). So take care when reading the patch notes, quite a lot of things have already been changed again.
Wizard has 4 skills with fear effect. Considering 3 mages in party PVP will start with 6 attemps to fear enemy bishop in 2 seconds and 6 attempts to mass fear the enemy party members.. will be mad fun :)

Yes, the changes are strange. On the one hand you have restrictions like "after a clan war, you cannot re-declare on the same clan again for 3 weeks" and "you can declare on a max of 5 other clans", but it also seems that you no longer need to have both sides declare war on each other. It will be enough if one side declares, then there's a 3 day waiting period, and then there WILL be a two-sided war for at least one week, even if the other side does not wish to have a two-sided war. I predict a lot of griefing by top pvp clans who need some more people to kill during their 3 week waiting time for another round with their usual enemies.
I'm looking forward to a lot of the changes. There isn't a whole lot I dislike. However, I can see how bigger clans may dislike the changes to the war system but on the other hand, smaller clans with "light" pvp may appreciate the change...Maybe we'll see a lot more non war full exp loss pvp between the larger clans? Interesting changes... Love the new party matching system. Let's see if our community uses it too :P

Hmmm... MI ftw? Oh nvm, rarely anyone plays a pp  there's also going to be clan cleanse if you read the pts notes.

Ofc feared bishop is able to cast anything ;) Or the clan cleanse is on enhanters/sumoners?

Hence, the MI. You thought the Mi is for the MA/BD/SwS/HP!?! O.o
Players cannot choose a secondary occupation group that is the same as the class for which the fourth class transfer was completed.

Its about subclass, but... If i have as main SD and AL as sub and I want to after 4th transfer q be summoner (be a summoner instead of SD), is it possible?

You can't awaken to Summoner on your main if your sub is AL but with the update going live, you can make use of the "Class Change Certificates" and change your AL sub to another class. Then use the stone of destiny on your main (SD) and awaken to summoner. I suppose this should work.
Why give back Enchanter bufs?

Change in the buffs available from the Olympiad Manager. The new list is as follows:
Horn Melody, Drum Melody, Pipe Organ Melody, Guitar Melody, Harp Melody, Lute Melody, Knight's Harmony, Warrior's Harmony, Wizard's Harmony. Melody skills can be stacked while Harmony skills cannot.

this is unfair
Why not to choose/available: heal, mage nuke, dager letal, arcer skils...

Well, you could do dual main class. But if you really don't want the play the SD anymore, you would use have to do what SinGS said; change AL sub to something else that doesn't contradict with the new subclass restriction, then use Stone of Destiny to change your SD main to AL. Lucky for you, human classes (skills) are the only ones that can be obtained so you will still have AL skills. However, you will stay as a Dark Elf with the new DE base mage stat.
I'm lil bit sad cause it's first patch note

btw any info about get the translation of the patch note of the new pts ?

Here's my guess: in the past lineage lost a lot of players due to the high amount of farm required for playing this game, so the 'core' of l2 was composed by those 'factors' which in general was account/adena buyer. Since GoD is an attempt on resurrecting l2, the company thought that 'destroying' the old war system was a wise choose, cause all those pro factors represent something lesser than 500 players, which won't quit entirely just cause of war changes, and all the rest of the old and newcoming population will be able to enjoy the new areas/quest/exp farm without having a lot of troubles. I guess now all the 9v9 will be forced to take place into arenas like coliseum instead of the open fields, and the loosing side of the moment will simply be happy of having a technical excuse to not fight. And don't forget that focus will be on reaching the highest level and equip as soon as possible, which will requires an heavy weekly instance schedule plus exp (kinda like with hellbound update, with the difference that ppl will not have to make mass pvp to hold the spot, and i agree that this is a big loss, but at same time makes lowbies able to stay next to an high group without having so much troubles)

Yes i know now:) Ty for clarify

Every awakened enchanter will be able to learn MI.
9. Vitality System

... Vitality is now issued to each account instead of each character. All characters of an account created in the same server share Vitality points.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

In the Korean patch notes it says:
기존 캐ë¦*í„° 별로 지급했던 활ë*¥ì´ 계ì*• 단위로 변경되었다. 동일 서버에 생성된 캐ë¦*터들은 활ë*¥ 포인트를 ê³µìœ*한다.

What I have marked in bold font means something very different from "an account created in the same server". Is this a translation error or has this been recently changed in Korea?

Cryo, please check MYSTERYouse's translation as well as the ensuing discussion here:
http://boards.rochand.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11&start=340#p1865
(continues on the following page of the thread)
Thx a lot for infos Cryo.

I heard that passive skill Death Vison of DE race was changed on 2nd PTS stage to something called Acceleration (google translation). Plz could you check if it's true and if yes translate the accurate translation for the new skill. ty.
@Cryo

1) Congratulations for the work to all involved. As you can see community already loves it :)

2) I would like to point out that on the new CON description, M. Def probably needs to be replaced by P. Def.

3) There is a big question concerning enchanters and what statistics they will have. Initially NC assigned them as mages, but we got screenshots from Korean PTS where they have figther statistics. Also, in Korean patch notes the enchanter passives indicated to increase STR but on your translation here indicate to increase INT. Also in new patch notes (part 2) the restriction of using skills only when equipped with dual swords/blunts was removed (maybe in order to use magic weapons too?). Can you please shed any light on the issue (mainly if enchanters get mage or fighter statistics) because this is one of the most controvertial issues.

Thx in advance.
every awakened enchanter will be able to learn mi.

mi = ?
Looks like not the whole patch notes were translated. For example, where are our 7 Holy Pomanders for lvl 76+ healers?

mi = ?
Mystic Immunity
This Mystic Immunity skills has like <1 min reuse or sth? Otherwise it's useless against 3 mages fearing everything on their path...

I dont understand how best ranged dps class in the game got 4 fear skills.. Seriously Koreans need to learn how the pvp is going on or just rly disable it in L2.

Killing mage grp nowadays perma feared bishop is just a nightmare and they introduce such ****.
On another issue. The Olympiad games requirements are these:

"Change in the entry requirements and point reward conditions for the Olympiad:

Previous: Level 75+ Noblesse characters who have completed the third class transfer
New: Level 85+ Noblesse characters who have Awakened"
Competing in Olympiads can be done with any of the awakened dual class or the original "main" must be used?
I dont understand how best ranged dps class in the game got 4 fear skills.. Seriously Koreans need to learn how the pvp is going on or just rly disable it in L2.

Isn't it what they're doing with the clan wars changes? From what I read, it's pretty much dead.
How do the subclass skills work now? Is it still the same subskils as before but instead of chosing mdef/pdef you get to choose one of these? :

Sub - P. Atk. / M. Atk. increase
Increases P. Atk. by 5 and M. Atk. by 10.
Sub - P. Def. / M. Def. increase
Increases P. Def. by 15 and M. Def. by 15.
Sub - Atk. Spd. / Casting Spd. increase
Increases Atk. Spd. and Casting Spd. by 10.
Sub - Critical Rate increase
Increases P. Critical Rate and M. Critical Rate by 1.
Sub - Critical Damage increase
Increases physical and magical critical damage by 10.
Sub - Physical Attribute Resistance increase
Increases resistance to physical attributes by 5.
Sub - Mental Attribute Resistance increase
Increases resistance to mental attributes by 5.
Sub - Physical Ability increase
Increases Max CP by 200, Max HP by 100, and Max MP by 50.
Sub - MP Cost / reuse Time decrease
Decreases the MP cost and reuse time of skills by 1%.
Thx for posting the data even if it's only of the first part of the Korean PTS and right now the 2nd is well in progress :)

As Andreas pointed out the enchanters don't get INT boosts but STR and several minor changes have been made to every class as well armor set bonus since then.

A lot has already been discussed here: http://boards.rochand.com/viewforum.php?f=11

for those curious to the latest korean notes:

THX Draecke
Patch notes are outdated, several skills have been changed. Like the Dark Elf Passives and the Dwarf Passives.
Mandatory clan war is excellent.

A lot of CC , magical immunity and cleansing are being added. Interesting to see how it plays out since the classes also have AOE CC out the wazoo.

I see the healers have 4 buffs to give us basically haste, death whisper etc... Then enchanters have mostly dances and some more buffs?

Does anyone know what skills the summoner pets have? I chose a pony summoner because the 79 pet was great for pvp. I am hoping the cat and mage pets continue to do damage and provide stun/Great AoE nuke.

There seems to be ALOT of cancel skills and mass cleanse.

Summoners have party recharge? Mass cleanse on all their summons? DoTs for targets, AoE banish, AoE root, Aerial hold, cancel/cleanse cubic... The class seems very strong without even factoring the pets in yet. So, if anyone knows how the pets are in GoD, please share with the class. I don't want to be a WoW warlock or aion summoner. I want to be a L2 summoner where my summon is king.
lol at the new clan war system. i see how it could be nice, but a 1 week penalty after a war ends and requiring 100% xp to declare seems like it will make the carebears cry and never pvp.
lol at the new clan war system. i see how it could be nice, but a 1 week penalty after a war ends and requiring 100% xp to declare seems like it will make the carebears cry and never pvp.

Carebears just have to declare defeat and they're safe for 3 weeks. Only the cowards who currently declare back just for sieges will cry.
WHat does it acctually mean it requires 100% xp?
WHat does it acctually mean it requires 100% xp?

I read that as broken English that meant you lose 100% xp on death in a clan war.

If it's "you lose one level to declare war", then we'd just get around that requirement by using a lowbie.
WHat does it acctually mean it requires 100% xp?

From what I understand, during the war when the members of the clan who declared war are killed, they take full xp loss, like for a PvE death.
Funny thing is that clan skills are available for everyone of specific rank and requires FAME to be used :)

Also 8 heroes instead of 30+ will make olympiad rly not a factor anymore.

Interesting thig is also the Campaign. Wonder how it will be performed..

About wars... well, PVP clans are mostly those which were botted to 85.100% so would be interesting to see how they are PVP oriented when it's full death penalty :)
Yes the 100% xp loss means there is no more reduced XP loss in a two way war between warring clans.

The reason this was done was:

1) You can no longer delevel after awakening.
2) Clan Wars now reward winning clans with Fame and Rep when the war is resolved so they have increased value. Fame and Rep are now used to cast new active clan skills like Clan Invincibility or Clan Guardian (depending on your clan rank) which restores cp/hp/mp for the whole clan.
Every awakened enchanter will be able to learn MI.

The thing is when they will be able to learn it, or do you seriously think that all awakened enchanters are going to be the same at 85? o.O

Also, Angel's Hand (Iss Enchanter MI) doesn't even last as long as PP's MI

A skill list of what PP will be learning after Awakening:
http://www.inven.co.kr/board/powerbbs.php?come_idx=383&query=view&p=1&my=&category=&sort=PID&orderby=&where=&name=&subject=&content=&keyword=&sterm=&iskin=&l=1370

PP is trading PoF for Drum Melody at 85 (PoF+CC effect). Doesn't seem like CC needs to be traded in. Hm.... double CC? :O nomnomnomnom

A list of Awakened DC skills:

Thx to Rochand forum :)
On this ...

Change in rules for subclass selection:

When selecting a subclass, players cannot select an occupation group to which their main class belongs.
Players cannot choose a secondary occupation group that is the same as the class for which the fourth class transfer was completed.
E.g.) If the main class is Duelist, then Dreadnought, Duelist, Titan, Grand Khavatari or Maestro cannot be chosen.

Is this only moving forward. Because recently I took a character and did sub to main from Dualist to GK. So my subs are now Dualist, Dready, Adventurer. Are my 2 subs getting deleted?
My question is this..

If a char is 85 and 100% and he does the awakening quest.

After the quest he will be 85 lvl and 0% or at the same amount of exp he was before?
Is this only moving forward. Because recently I took a character and did sub to main from Dualist to GK. So my subs are now Dualist, Dready, Adventurer. Are my 2 subs getting deleted?

nope but as dualist & dready share the same warior type as your GK you will not be able to unlock them as an awakened sub aka only the Adventurer will be eligible for unlock to lvl 99 and share same race/subclass skills as your main.
I think that is only a rule about which subclass you can choose as your unlocked subclass (i.e. the one which can lvl higher than 80). So in your case, you would only be able to choose the adventurer, because it is not the same category as your main. Or you would need to use one of the "free subclass exchange" tickets and change one of the duelist/dread subs to something else which would be a valid sub.
From what I understand, during the war when the members of the clan who declared war are killed, they take full xp loss, like for a PvE death.

the person who declared the war loses the exp. thats the only exp loss.

now, as most clans go, they dont hand out war rights to everyone only a select few. will be interesting to see if hardcore clans use clan leader to declare war or disposable alts.

That doesn't have any sense. I'm sure it concerns the clan members, not one character.
What abou subclass certification?
All actual sub skills will be deleted (passives & triggers )ang get only those passives?

I'd like to know this bc i have recently finished my first enchanter sub to get celestial. Now i was planning to sub as a knigth.
If I undesrtand conrectly it doesent matter wich kind of sub u take anymore.

Am I right? (I'd love to sub an archer or a mage sub)
eta: Pdef is not at least loosely based on CON anymore ? CON and MEN are listed both as factors for Mdef... must be typo.

Fixed. It was resistance to Mental Attacks.

Thank you!

The Vitality system changes looks interesting, but how will vitality be recovered? Will it depend on picking up vitality herbs?

Common items will be converted to Unidentified items at the time of the update.
As far as I know the only way to recover vitality is by using vitality-related items.

There is a typo for the fighter dwarf wit stat. It says 87, and it should be 37.

Fixed

Does this mean that there are R-grade two-handed blunts, just that all of them are mage weapons?

Is the second quest suppose to be the level 70+ Come to me?

With people staying in the academy until third class change, was there a change in the number of people that can be in it. Or is it still limited to 20 academy members?

I'm not really sure about the Dual Blunt and Academy questions, I'll try to find out. I've fixed the academy quest in the patch notes.

If you are a Titan and you decide to awaken to a Healer would you still be an orc Cryo?

Yes you would still be an orc with mystic stats.

All learned transformations will be deleted? Also subclass transformations will be removed too?

I don't think so? Where did you see that?

Thanks - but seems the latest PTS changes did not make it into this translation (have not checked everything, but since the changes to the race skills are not in the patch notes, I guess that the ton of other changes of the current PTS round are not in there, either). So take care when reading the patch notes, quite a lot of things have already been changed again.

btw any info about get the translation of the patch note of the new pts ?

The latest PTS patch notes are still being translated, they were released only a few days ago. We will release them as soon as we can. While there is probably a lot of changes regarding skills and classes, most of the other information posted here should still be accurate.

What I have marked in bold font means something very different from "an account created in the same server". Is this a translation error or has this been recently changed in Korea?

As far as I know it is by account by server. I'll try to have that confirmed as soon as I can.

lol at the new clan war system. i see how it could be nice, but a 1 week penalty after a war ends and requiring 100% xp to declare seems like it will make the carebears cry and never pvp.

As someone else pointed out, the 100% xp is what you lose if you get killed during a clan war, you don't lose xp for declaring a war. I agree that the translation was a bit misleading.

I'll try to continue answering your questions but please note that I am overwhelmed with work at the moment so please bear with me if I take a while to answer. :)
Saw no mention of vorpal armor becoming S80: so vorpal remains S84?
Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer all those questions! :)
And what about changes in PK(player killing) system? Korean developers make serous changes
i posted this in my clans forum but people seem to not find any apropriate answers.
lets try here and wait for more inapropriate or not even given answer ...

-------------------
there is a lot of stuff that is totally unclear and doesnt seem to be fully thought through.

it seems the info is far from completed.

mage dwarf stats? huh? dwarves cannot awaken into any mage related class?
What exactly happens if one uses the "Stone of Destiny" ? is that why dwarves also have magician stats shown? will they stay dwarf healer with dwarf mage stats and dwarven racial skill? wouldnt that be an unneccessary overhead of exceptional condition which is only given the characters meeting the requirements on update and after becoming a relict which is not accessible anymore, or does the same apply to the dual subclass? (I.E mainclass is a dwarf and i dual subclass wynn summoner, is it still a dwarf that has dwarven mage stats?)

party matching system? very very vague information, seems to be abusable referring to the buffs you can get by replacing a boxed? can people request for a sepcific party? can a partyleader request a specific queued player?

war system lol? we need a lvl 1 char to declare then i dont wanna lose 100% xp. how ******* stupid is that? up to a max of 5 offensively declared wars i ask why? are koreans really that carebear O_O
in what way was a change necessary? and what the hell did the developers and authors smoke as they were writing the specification for the new clan war system?

there is no info about the relation of the iss enchanter to basic profession. will i as dominator have mage stats, or is the iss enchanter overriding my inital profession and i become a fighter? (espeically because the dual mastery effect is based on STR!)

in what way does the olympiad token rewards change? still the current steps and max reward is 76k tokens for being in top 10 (hero reward exluded)?

are people informed BEFORE they awaken which ones are replced?
"When a character Awakens, most previously learned skills are replaced by new skills. The character receives SP and a certain quantity of Essence of the Giants according to the level of skill enchantement."
some skills may not be highly enchanted before a player awakens and therefore wastes the possibility of using previous normal giants codes to increase the outcome of essences gained by starting the awaken process.
It has been said in interviews by korean developers that the awakened classes develop differently up to lvl 99 this is especially interesting for the dominator and doomcryer profession they will be one at end but dominators (so it has been said) will receive their playstyle related awakened skills "earlier"
so i can expect to be mainly a debuffer directly after awakening while bladedancers/swordsingers get the melee attack skills and song related buff type spells first?

what happens to existing items will they become unidentified? for example an currently existing Imperial Crusader set. if so does that apply to weapons aswell? or are they "bound" or "standard" by default (especially referring to already existing special abilities)?

the active clan skills seem to be designed for clanleaders only especially the two level 11 clan active skills can actually only used by the clan leader.
in respect of the increased responsibility of the clan leader why does he have to sacrifice his own income of personal fame points for that? doesnt he enough suffer from his lazy members enough already ? :P

Clan academy:
* Previous: 190 to 650 points
* New: 290 to 2,000 points
this seems to be a very disrespectful increase of reward especially for clans which main income relies on this system to proceed the development o ftheir clan.
Have you ever added up the total clan reputation a clan needs from level 5 basic to level 11 with all possible skills and squadskills?
in case you didnt here it is:
359.300 CRP for all clan skills
293.200 CRP for all squad skills up to level 3 PER CLAN UNIT
2 Guards + 4 knights + Mainclan results in 7 x 293.200 CRP
190.000 CRP for clan level ups up to 11
50.000 CRP Expanding 2 guards and 4 knights
40.000 CRP upgrading all royal guards and knights
summa sumarum from level 5 basic to level 11 fully built its:
2.691.700 i repeat in words: two million six hundred ninety one thousand and seven hundred clan reputation points.
wow thats only 1345 level 76 characters including 3rd class transfer and we are done :)
lets assume an active legit player needs 1 week for a character from level 1 to 76 since he has a lot of adena and has always top gear and also 1 or 2 boxed accounts and no real life work since academy can only hold a maximum 20 characters at once thats a total of 40.000 CRP per week
thats only 67,2925 weeks to finish skilled people will see that this is more than a year, and the 20 people playing these characters will probably die unfortunately during the process since they did not follow the hint "you have been playing for an extended period of time, please consider taking a break".

i am bored to continue actually.
why does nc soft release an update named "high five" which should symbloize and angel halo above their head because they finally listened to the communities wishes just to release the next update that is reverting a huge part of the while development process of 7 years INCLUDING the player suggested long waited and needed improvements?

i dont get it, lineage II is dead, hail Lineage II,5

PS Grammar errors and typos are made on purpose to increase the fun in reading.
1. Calm down.

They added in multiple ways to get more clan rep points too. While in academy there are two quests to do that will give the clan an addition 1,100 points per academy toon.

Also for every 10 graduates you get a bonus of 1,000 CRP.

So say you have 10 graduates this week it.

It is 2,000 x 10 = 20,000 + 1,100 x 10 = 31,100 + 1000. So in total it is actually 32,100 from academy toons. Now if you do 20 a week that doubles to 64,200 a week which is 20,000 over what you assumed.

Also a big thing is fame, before you would get 2450 a siege, now you get 24,500 a siege. But of course there is the issue of clan donation be up to 10,000 so there is very little difference there.

However, you now get 1 CRP for each member for your clan ever 5 minutes they are siege grounds at a fort, siege, or tw.

So every siege that is a bonus of 24 CRP for each member at the siege. 10 members 240 crp, 20 members 480 crp etc.

For fort it 12 CRP per siege so 120 or 240. Also you can do a fort ever 4 hours so if you have 10 clan members on average defending or attacking a fort all day you 720 points a day nevermind the 120 points a siege for the balistas, or blood oath turn ins.

Also we do not know the bonus for winning a Clan war in rep points or if the losing clan losing the those points or what now.

PS by just doing the 20 toons a week your math is horribly off. It would be 43.2 weeks at 62,400 points a week. So even if you do nothing but alts it would only take you 43.2 weeks for a full maxed out clan.

Come next update a lot more clans will be maxed out then are now, in fact there are very few maxed out clans now expect maybe Nova on Chronus.
i am perfectly calm, the update has not been released and and so far my accounts have not been cancelled :P

i am only referring to the relation between "now needed effort input" combined with "now increased reward" to the previous ones.

during the last double exp event i finished an academy character ~3 hours after its creation. easy gained 650 points with few effort.

the added sources of CRP doesnt seem to be noticeable, lets assume you go on siege with 50 people from your clan and stay the whole 2 hours you gain 1200 CRP, nice but just an addition.
lets assume these 50 people would have done 1 academy characters now each within 2 weeks and in respect of the time lets double the amount of CRP (castle siege period)
you can do the math yourself.

unless the gain of CRP has not been changed when donating fame (which is not mentioned) for CRP the increase is zero, since all gains have been multiplied by 10 and the cost aswell.

as i said i am referring to clan which main income of CRP is through academy.
those path has been made way harder as it was before.
what looks like an improvement is just a bigger gap between small clans and powerful clans.

i am just pointing at issues which are mentioned but not properly/fully specified, too much room for "guesses".

the issues you picked to reply to is actually the only one which contains a bit of rage :)
apart from the war system, looks like a lollipop babydoll system to me.
one of the huge pluses of l2 was always that pvp in agreement has no rules, now its restricted i simply ask why? the reasons given seem to be an excuse to me to hide the real origins for these changes, but again why?

who cares if a clan that declared war on you is inactve but sill in the list, if i declare war to a clan and that clan doesnt reply its my decision to keep it up to prevent my member from losing full percent because those guys decide on THEIR own when to jump into pvp with my guys or not, which is, what a coincidence, only when they are not inferior.
one addition makes sense though, once cancelled its cancelled, once declared back its mutual but why only for 3 weeks with a break of one week? that makes totally no sense.
why not just remove open field pvp and go world of warcraft carebear style and implement instanced battlefields as much as i hate this game i must say: better full carebear than a restricted middle path that dissatifies everyone.

seriously.
this system has worked for 7 years without any trouble.

havent you learned in school? never change a running system?
I note that the word 'Spoil' does not appear in the PTS patch notes. Fortune Seekers are to become Daggers, but it does not appear that Daggers are to become Spoilers. Othell Rogue specifically lacks any spoil skills. The highest level spoil skill for FS would be lvl 83 Lucky Strike. It appeared in High Five that Spoilers would be more popular, needed in Dragon Valley and the Lair. Now it looks like spoilers might be of no use at all after lvl 85.

On a lighter note. Only Dwarves, all dwarves, can craft R grade soul shot, R grade spirit shots and R grade blessed spirit shots.
The very next line says that recipes will be available, if rarely, that will let everyone else craft these too.

The notes on C and D dual sword requirements indicate that possibly all the parts we sold when NPC's took over that craft market, and the recipes we deleted from our recipe books may suddenly have a value. Too little too late though, and with the fast leveling to 80 or 85, D to A grade gear will still be what NPC's sell.

On clan wars, I would expect to see the big clans wanting CRP and fame to war small weaker clans or even their own alt clans. No point in warring another big PvP clan.. they might actually win.

Then again, all this could be changed long before we see Goddess on our PTS.

regardless of how shoddy you consider the rules to be its still better than faction/racial based warring which is present in every other game out there. L2 is still unique.

dare i say the day the game does into the "followers of shilen vs followers of einhasad" race/faction wars is the day L2 becomes not unique or special but just like every other pvp mmo and fps mmo.
I'm confused about the subclass skills being reset. Will we still be able to learn the divine transformations and triggerable skills like counter-UD? The "improved" certified skills that are listed don't seem nearly as good as most of the ones we have now.
I note that the word 'Spoil' does not appear in the PTS patch notes. Fortune Seekers are to become Daggers, but it does not appear that Daggers are to become Spoilers. Othell Rogue specifically lacks any spoil skills.

It has been said by developers that rogues will have a "steal" skill equal to spoil. I gues the skill Plunder (Seizes an item from a target.) is the answer.
I see that for Olympiad buffs there is a Lute Melody, but I didn't find it in Iss Enchanter skills!
Check below Harp Melody.

"Lute Melody: Increases the Atk. Spd. and Casting Spd. of a party member and gives it Vampiric Rage effect for a certain period of time. Requires dual swords or dual blunt weapons to be equipped."
In point 9:

Players are limited to five vitality items (recovering, maintaining, replenishing items, etc.) each week.

What do you mean by this exactly ?
1. do we only get to use the pots we have now 5 times per week ?
Or
2. can we BUY 5 pots per week from vita manager ?

Also a lil important note for the PTS maybe:

Allow players to awaken 7 times, so we can clearly see what all the 7 types of classes can before we pick 1 on the live servers for real .
i think it means you can use existing vitality items only 5 times per week.

also, wow @ 3 things: VR works on ranged, reflect damage works on ranged, and a skill has been added to replenish some MP when the player kills a mob...

crazy XD
No more Festival of Darkness? I guess I'd better start participating to get that Butterfly Hairpin. Anyone have room for one more?

And I see that quests related to class changes are being deleted. I wonder what that means.....
HJH: We have carefully considered the future of Dwarf classes. We would like to break the cycle of Dwarves only being used as a crafting class. Our hope is to get the Dwarves more involved in the action of the game.
After looking at dwarf stats I think devs were trolling.
I'm not really sure about the Dual Blunt and Academy questions, I'll try to find out. I've fixed the academy quest in the patch notes.

Not Dual Blunts, but Two-Handed Blunts.
Thank you very much for answering my questions cryo!

Very interesting update, but I guess we will have to wait and see any new additional PTS changes in Korea.
do dual swords get any kind of SA since other weapons now get 2 SAs?
yes check the link I posted before from Rochand as it has all that info there..

btw all classes had some changes done in 2nd PTS round which are not listed here yet.. enchanters for example can also now use swords & blunts besides dual swords/dual blunts etc..
Thanks :) It actually took me quite a while to get the formating right considering the amount of information.

I'm personally very excited by this update. So what's your favorite note?

Characters with servitors can now also summon pets.

You cant possibly understand how happy that makes every summoner out there.

Anyawy, gonna lvl up that wolf. :>
i posted this in my clans forum but people seem to not find any apropriate answers.
lets try here and wait for more inapropriate or not even given answer ...

Dwarf mage stats are there for dwarves who choose to use their Stone of Destiny

war system lol? we need a lvl 1 char to declare then i dont wanna lose 100% xp. how ******* stupid is that? up to a max of 5 offensively declared wars i ask why? are koreans really that carebear O_O
in what way was a change necessary? and what the hell did the developers and authors smoke as they were writing the specification for the new clan war system?

Yay!! I love the new war system.

there is no info about the relation of the iss enchanter to basic profession. will i as dominator have mage stats, or is the iss enchanter overriding my inital profession and i become a fighter? (espeically because the dual mastery effect is based on STR!)

All enchanters will get fighter stats. The patch notes are mistranslated and all enchanter skills give STR instead of INT

are people informed BEFORE they awaken which ones are replced?

You don't automatically lose all your skills. Upon awakening, all you skills are reset to 0 enchant and you are rewarded with a ton of SP and Giant Essences proportional to both the ammount of skills enchanted and how high they were enchanted. You are then given the option to start forgetting your skills in exchange of the new ones.

what happens to existing items will they become unidentified? for example an currently existing Imperial Crusader set. if so does that apply to weapons aswell? or are they "bound" or "standard" by default (especially referring to already existing special abilities)?

All items will be "standard". Common items will all be turned into 'Unidentified" state.
Nowadays, warsmith and overlord cannot be started on subs. Will be any change here?

Dwarfs can craft items of R-Grade or higher, regardless of their class.
Level 85+ characters who have completed their fourth class transfer automatically acquire the following skills:

Dwarfs: Create Item Skill Level 11.
All races: Create Common Item Skill Level 10.

So I will change to healer (for example), but I will be still dwarf. Can I craft items then?

Edit: One more question: I have now skill Earthquake. If I will awake to Tyr Warrior, it disapears? Of course if I will not "update" it for other 85+ skill.
1) Thanks :)
2) It was Mental Attacks, I fixed it.
3) I don't have the answer right now, we'll have to wait the 2nd PTS patch notes.

Sorry to bug you again, but I think CON is not to resist mental attacks, rather physical abnormal state (stun, poison, bleed, knockdown, etc). Can you please check? :o

PS: As for my comment regarding enchanters, it seems that it was already answered by the update of the official GoD site.
Cryo thanks the translation!

Sounds like this update will the update what for the Lineage 2 was really need.

So many really good features will release in this game what are missed or wasn't workout enough until now.

I think a part of this updates increase the fun of EU/NA players at firstly.

Like, the vitality system. While in another regions peoples could buy for really life money vitality restore items, seems this won't be available to them anymore. Because the vitality won't work anymore as a Heal Point bar what you can restore or maintenance with different potions or bonuses.

Really nice to see too, how the developers give new and much better reason why the players have to pvp much more times as now.
The new clan war system give reason to more and much more active clan wars, make a really race between the clans what is the better.
And of course, doesn't let to players/clans to become carebear who never want PVP, by the automatically clan war start they have to PVP, because they aren't on safe place nowhere anymore, they can change to be untagged, but they loose tons of useful bonus them!

And the idea of increase to clan war XP loose from 10% to 100% was great too! Higher bet, higher fun!

I can't wait to play with the Goddess of Destruction!:)
Nice job!
It's shame that 70% of new locations are instanced dungeons. =/
Only Dwarfs can craft R-Grade Soulshots, Spiritshots and Blessed Spiritshots.
Addition of recipes to allow other players to craft R-Grade Soulshots, Spiritshots and Blessed Spiritshots with normal crafting skill[...]

Well, which one is it?
Nice job!
It's shame that 70% of new locations are instanced dungeons. =/
Wars are dead anyway.
In section 4 on Items it says that there are no R-grade Two-handed blunts.

Yet, in the Improved Enchant System and new Hero Weapons there are two-handed blunts mentioned.

Does this mean that there are R-grade two-handed blunts, just that all of them are mage weapons?

Means that there are only Mage Staffs but nomore Fighter 2h Blunts.

New war system seems kinda strange. If I understand it right any clan can a) grief other clans for min 1 week and even get rewards for it and b) farm personal fame with altclans?

Any idea what happens with Anakim xforms if they close the raid? I heard somewhere they will be craftable but didnt see anything mentioned in the patchnotes.

If you chose to pull a sub (say Pala) will you only have the option to awaken it as a Knight or will you get the chance to chose a random class again like for your main? (I guess it doesnt matter since you can chose any subs anyway after the update but might still be interesting to know.)
A question... I know that e.g. if an orc mystic uses stones of destiny to awaken as a tank, they will have orc fighter stat and phoenix knight skills with orc appearance. The question is are they going to stay as orc mystic appearance or will they have orc fighter appearance?
Looks like Summoners > all

Orc Mystic appearance.

Anakhim gone for the moment. No crafting sealbooks. lawl

Your subs can only awaken to their class. If you dont use your subclass change certificates, the sub will be stuck as what it is.

No, you can't use the Stone of Destiny on your sub because it disappears once your main awakens, whether your main used it or not.
You don't automatically lose all your skills. Upon awakening, all you skills are reset to 0 enchant.
You are then given the option to start forgetting your skills in exchange of the new ones.

This implies you can keep at least some of your 1st/2nd/3rd class skills all the way after awakening.

Now, look here: do you see any of those skills left?
http://plasmon.rghost.ru/9365371.image

It's just an awakened lvl 85, mind me.

Nobody said you couldnt keep them. The people from korea stated that awakening is optional, and, after awakening, it is up to you whether or not you trade your skills, or some of them at least.

The person from that image chose to trade everything.

EDIT: Lookie there. I can see 2nd class Cancel, and Sleeping Cloud; and 3rd class Elemental Assault , and Blizzard!

Indeed, the new wars are now a thing to farm and no longer a way to PvP everywhere long time enemies.

Perhaps it's because the sps in that SS is only lvl 85, and you can only trade in a certain number of skills to get new ones after each lvl?
what I like to know is, with the change of class quests deleted.. how is it going to affect players to be able to change their classes when they reach the levels needed for them? I mean is there going to be a new Quest system to allow players to change their classes? or is there going to be a NPC standing by to grant us our class changes?

I'm just trying to get a full understanding of the deleted quests mainly the change class quests, and how it's going to affect the game.
Got a Question:

Right now, the 10% XP a pet takes from you are the base Mob XP, means before Vit/blessing/whatever is applied.

Example:

Mob gives 1000 XP
Pet gets 100 XP from that mob
You get 900 XP x Vitality (300% at vit 4, means 2700) x Nevits x Whatever = ALOT more than usual, and way out of any relation to the XP you pet gets.

That means if you have full vit and Nevits, you outlevel you pet rather fast on lower levels.

Is that going to be changed? Will you pet finally also benefit from your Vitality and other XP bonuses?
Got a Question:

Who told you that nonsense???

A pet always takes a fixed percentage from your xp. The higher your vitality the faster the pet levels.

Err, are you sure? From what i could see, Pets dont care about your vitality and stuff. If they would, then my Kooka would have outleveled me during 25-30 easily, but it didnt. Was was far behind me, without any chances of ever catching up.

Even with 0 vit you'd out level the bird
Are vesper noble items s80 aswell?
all current s84 will be s80 then..
all current s84 will be s80 then..
According to the patchnotes posted only Vesper will be turned s80 (this is pretty explicit).
my Kooka would have outleveled me during 25-30 easily, but it didnt. Was was far behind me, without any chances of ever catching up.

If you're talking about a baby kooka, you will outlevel it in any case. If you want it to level faster, you need to xp it with a high level toon that gets tons of xp per kill.

Once you get a grown pet, it will level much faster due to taking 30% from your xp (more or less depending on the level difference; and I think fenrirs can take more than a half) and outlevel you eventually.
With Vit>0 it will happen sooner.

I think is best what I can say :)
Can you check and tell: IT IS JUST MISTYPE ?
This Mystic Immunity skills has like <1 min reuse or sth? Otherwise it's useless against 3 mages fearing everything on their path...

I dont understand how best ranged dps class in the game got 4 fear skills.. Seriously Koreans need to learn how the pvp is going on or just rly disable it in L2.

Killing mage grp nowadays perma feared bishop is just a nightmare and they introduce such ****.
There will be introduced dimnishing returns on physical/magical debuffs that decrease the chance of consecutive debuffs landing on you.
More on this probably in next translated patch notes :)

Sorry to bug you again, but I think CON is not to resist mental attacks, rather physical abnormal state (stun, poison, bleed, knockdown, etc). Can you please check? :o
Yup, and also why both WIT and MEN increase MDEF? Since CON has probably resistance to physical attacks then either WIT or MEN has resistance to mental attacks, and MDEF is currently affected by MEN.

You forgot to take your pills man.

Anyway, your rather strange text made me remember something: From all those Korean Videos and stuff i saw about GOD, it seems like that the patch notes we got are rather incomplete. Do they really just lack quite a bunch of stuff? IF so, when do they get updated? :)
Does anybody know if the birthday potions that give 3 4hr vit4 will still work in GOD?

Awesome, can't wait for the tree pvp on castle fields!
Perhaps I am just not very educated about GoD; it is completely possible that I am overseeing something simple. However, it appears to me that Inspectors require more work to get leveled but, with the Enchanter awakening, become the exact same class as a different but easier to achieve Enchanter. As a straight forward question... What reason does a player have to take the extra time to level up an Inspector/Judicator when they could level up a BD/SwS and get the same exact stats? Is there any other reason to level up an Inspector instead of just racial skills?

Once again, racial stats will not be the same for each enchanter, they will be dependant on the race that you had before awakening (look at stats table for each race in patch notes).
But yes, only racial skills and stats will differ and kamaels will still be restricted in subclass choices. And currently you can only awaken to a different class on main, not on subs.
Korean devs want to retain kamael subclass restrictions but in exchange they want to make them "superior" in PVP:mercifool: Now that Kamaels are losing all their uniqueness in classes and weapons will you allow them to choose classes from other races as subclasses?
HJH: Kamaels will not be able to subclass as other races. However, Kamaels will maintain the uniqueness with their PvP superiority.
As for racial abilities, the PVP damage bonus is currently only 1% and MP consumption -5%, debuff resistance buff lasts only 20s (it may of course change). Silence/fear resist is nice, and final transformations (but still only last 5 minutes...), and stats but I wouldn't call it "superior" :P And being restricted in subclass choices is a disadvantage.
So it's just a matter of preference.

It isnt harder to level than a BD or SwS sub :o

On another note, would be interesting to know if and which old and new buffs stack. Like would it make sense to keep songs or dances or Judi buffs and put an additional Enchanter in party for the new buffs?
I have two questions concerning the GoD update:

1) Will the new subclass skills replace the old ones or are they an addition? The old 75 level subclass bonus will still remain?

2) Will a player be able to compete in Olympiads with his dual class as well? The text Cyo posted says:

"Change in the entry requirements and point reward conditions for the Olympiad:

Previous: Level 75+ Noblesse characters who have completed the third class transfer
New: Level 85+ Noblesse characters who have Awakened"
It is not clear if dual class is allowed or not.
LOl ofc you cant go on dual sub for oly only your main class as it is now.
Croy, tell me, will we keep our Vit pots pre GOD once GOD is life, or will they be removed and new Vit pots will be given out via events?
And currently you can only awaken to a different class on main, not on subs..

Maybe I am not understanding correctly, but doesn't this mean that Judicators are impossible to awaken? Don't they have to be a subclass?
I'm sorry bur for what I did read, we will be able to change our subclasses yes. If they're above level 70.
ALL CHARACTERS WILL GET AN AMOUNT OF SUBCLASS-CHANGE-CERTIFICATES EQUAL TO THE NUMBER OF SUBS THEY HAVE AT THE TIME OF THE UPDATE!

There, do you people get it now?

Not if the Subclass Skills are being revamped too.
Not if the Subclass Skills are being revamped too.

As well as, a lot of people have subclasses in the same archetype as their main or subclass. Such as fighters subs - warlord, tyrant, gladi, destroyer etc... And enchanters subs - warcryer, bladedancer, swordsinger etc...
The Goddess of Destruction Korean PTS Patch Notes have been posted here (http://boards.lineage2.com/showthread.php?t=216369).

Feel free to use this thread to discuss!

Clan Wars

Clan wars have been standardized and no longer occur endlessly without any purpose or result. All war information including Mutually Declared / Declared On / Declared War is reset, and clan wars will now proceed as follows.

Declaring War

War can be declared by clans of level 3 or higher and with at least 15 clan members, and the clans declared on must also satisfy the same requirements.
A clan can declare war on up to 5 clans. However, there is no limit on how many times a clan can be declared on by other clans.
Declaring war can be done by "/DeclareWar [Clan Name]" or using the "Declare War" option on the Clan window.
After declaring war, there is a preparation period of 3 days (72 hours). The clan war starts automatically after 3 days, but if the opposing clan also declares war during the preparation period, the clan war starts immediately.
Current clan war information can be checked by using the commands /DeclaredList, /DeclaredOnList and /ClanWarList. War information can also be checked on the Clan window.
The declaring clan can retract the war declaration during the 3-day preparation period.

Progress of Clan War
The character that declares the Clan War loses 100% Exp. if he/she is killed by an opposing clan member. The same also applies during a Mutually Declared war.
After declaring war, same normal field rules apply during the 3-day preparation period before the Clan War begins. Therefore, if a clan member strikes an unrelated player during this period the clan member's name becomes purple, and killing an opponent that does not retaliate gives the clan member chaotic disposition (PK).
Killing an unretaliating character of normal disposition during a Clan War (Mutually Declared) has no effect on Reputation (previously Karma) or PK count. However, PvP count increases.
Even during a Clan War, attacking an opposing clan member requires forced attack, which turns the attacker's name purple.
The war situation can be checked using the War Information option on the Clan Action window. The war situation is displayed as Dominating / Superior / Evenly Matched / Inferior / Overwhelmed.

Discerning Friend from Foe
Each member of the declared-on clan is displayed with an enemy mark which is visible only to members of the declaring clan.
During the 3-day period after the war declaration, enemy characters bear a declaration symbol in the middle of their name (a single sword).
When the Clan War begins, enemy characters bear a war symbol in the middle of their name (two crossed swords).

End of Clan War and Outcome
A Clan War ends automatically 3 weeks (21 days) after it starts and the outcome is then calculated.
The outcome of a Clan War is influenced by the kill and death counts of clan members from both sides.
After a Clan War ends, neither clan can declare war on each other for a week.
A clan can declare defeat to the opposing clan a week (7 days) after the Clan War starts. Declaring defeat can be done with "/DeclareDefeat [Clan Name]" or using the "Declare Defeat" option on the Clan Action window.
A clan cannot declare war on a clan to which it has declared defeat within the last 3 weeks (21 days), and neither can war be declared upon it by this opposing clan.
The Clan War ends when a clan declares defeat, and is recorded as a win by the opposing clan.

While a Castle Siege is in progress, the rules for Castle Siege take precedence.

I have some concern over the forced nature of the Clan War system. While I acknowledge that L2 is a PVP game, this removes any semblance of choice from a clan; will the clan have the choice not to PVP, or will they be forced into a war after the waiting period?

I like that the wars expire three weeks later, but I seriously dislike the fact that any clan, no matter the size or level, can declare a war upon a much smaller / less-active / "different" clan just for kicks.

This screams "Exploit" and "Griefing" to me, and could force players who do not focus completely on the PVP aspect to either leave their clan, participate in imbalanced PVP, or leave the game.

Please, if you can, relay to the developers to allow choice in this matter.

I think people are not getting what the patch notes mean.

From my point of view it is something like:

Clan A declares on Clan B.

Situation 1: Clan B does not want to respond. 3 Days after the declaration of Clan A pass the one sided war starts. Clan B cannot respond in the next 3 weeks to the war.

(this to end the answer the 'war -> kill 1 -> stop war' system from some clans)

Situation 2: Clan B wants to answer. It responds in the 3 day limit and the 2-sided war starts as soon as it responds.

Note that this can also be me not reading it right, but this system seems far more logical to me ^^
From what I understand it is:

-Clan A declares on Clan B.
-Clan B accepts, clan war starts at once
-Clan B doesn't accept. 3 days go by with rules of one-way war.
-After the 3 days, two sided war begins.
-After one week from the start of war, any of the 2 clans can surrender to the other. In that case war can be re-declared for 3 weeks.
From what I understand it is:

-Clan A declares on Clan B.
-Clan B accepts, clan war starts at once
-Clan B doesn't accept. 3 days go by with rules of one-way war.
-After the 3 days, two sided war begins.

This is also how I understand the translated patch notes. And it is a bit stupid, because what it will end up as is:

big clan A and big clan B (who usually so far always had a two-sided war) have their first war in GoD, it ends automatically after 3 weeks and the two clans cannot redeclare on each other for one week. They maybe just have some pvp anyway, but since they also want something else to do, they declare on random other clans just for the fun of it and then automatically get a two-sided war with them so that they do not go red when they go one-shot some lowbies. It's a bit against what L2 always was about - yes, you can kill people whenever you want, but there are consequences (going red). Now with this new system, you are free to grief any smaller/less powerful clan you like without consequences. The only limiting factor is that you can only declare on five other clans at a time.

Yes, I think you understand well, may still will be changes on it, but it will about same how you told it.

The new clan war system will be much more realistic as before or as at another games.

Let me tell some real life examples why I think this system will be realistic.

We are in the World War II. Germany rushed Poland and France, nobody didn't ask the leaders of Poland and France, that they want war or not, after they tried defend their countries but the German military forces was too strong and gave up the war.

You just will can study PVP if you fight against strong enemies!!
Not need to be carebear! This game is about the PVP we will get instances too where the peoples who fear from the PVP can spend their times, but if they want conquer some open instanced area where they make farm/quest/xp/boss need to fight!
This WAR System will end up in a huge grief/slave situation for the existing pve clans.
Maybe it works in Korea, but our thinking here is totally different.

I don't know if I would interpret it this way. Look at this:
Killing an unretaliating character of normal disposition during a Clan War (Mutually Declared) has no effect on Reputation (previously Karma) or PK count. However, PvP count increases.
It does not say if killing a character in a clan war which was not mutually declared gives rise to karma. If so, then it's just a 1-sided war like it is now.
It seems people are still seeing wars in comparison to what we have now. But you have to forget the war as we have now. Wars won't be to PvP freely outside of battlefields. It's a new stupid thing to farm, just like KE.

Hints:
- You can't maintain a continuous war with your enemies
- There are more and more instances
- There's a reward for winning a war

The first conclusion should be "ok war is dead, we'll war alt clans to get the rewards". Not "omg will it be used to grief carebears?"

They probably want to push players to make wars to get a reward, but instead they kill the wars of players who already were using it and didn't need a reward other than CRP and PVP count.
The new WAR system will work for Koreans from what i heared, but dont think we are ruoff etc. will like it.
Already hate all the instanced zones ><
When does the subclass restriction come into effect:

Say my main is a nuker and my sub is an archer. I want my MAIN NUKER to awaken as an ARCHER. Can I do that right away with no problems? Then the SUB ARCHER would just not be able to awaken as archer at 85?

Or would I have to change sub to a healer, then awaken main as archer, then level sub to 85 as healer and then awaken as nuker?

What about you awaken your archer as an archer, and you awaken your nuker to whatever you wanted to awaken your archer (ie not an archer)?

I agree with Spudnik, you're trying to make it more complicated that what it really is, making it sound... absent minded?

That means starting GoD at 80.100 instead of 85.100. The question is legitimate and will affect many people. Everyone who enjoys playing their sub more than their main but doesn't want to lose 16 billion xp.

Simple question: When does the subclass restriction come into effect? When your main awakens or when your sub awakens?

Restriciton comes in effect when you try to awaken your sub (can't awaken a sub before awakening main). The thing is that mains and subs will get a way to do class change. So practically, you can have any combination you like (apart from restrictions).
So far I undestand this new war system..
Yes.. big clans can declare war to any clan they want (max of 5 wars at a time)... so what they stop them to declare to smaller clan to just one shot them?

Well... that small clans have 5 active wars too... If you dont want to be at war with a big pvp clan... small clans need to have active clan wars...

IMHO It all depends on the perspective you look at it. This new systems just brings more pvp to everybody, even to those clans who dont like wars.

That's not totally correct. You can DECLARE a max of 5 wars, but you can have infinite wars declared against *you*.
Trying to understand these status:

An Elf fighter have less wit and men and more int then a human?? How come this is possible?

Human and elf will have the same con??

weird.

Elf

Increases Atk. Spd. and Casting Spd., and also Spd. when not in combat..

So if in engage combat ill loose all the bonus??

At my understanding the speed is isolate, so you will only lose the speed bonus when in combat

if you would lose it all the sentence would be
....atk. spd., casting spd and speed when not in combat
If the kamaels can't awake into a different class, how they put them here as a healer?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtJ_exodvGQ&feature=related

I don't understand, if they say that kamaels can't awake into another class.
All 76+ characters (at the time GoD goes live) get a Stone of Destiny. It lets them turn into any class.
The update issues all characters who are level 70 or above with a single "Stone of Destiny." A character that has both "Stone of Destiny" and "Pact of Righteous Path" can Awaken into a different class.

E.g.: A Maestro normally Awakens as a Tyrr Warrior, but with both "Stone of Destiny" and "Pact of Righteous Path" it is possible to Awaken as a Sigel Knight, Othell Rogue, Yul Archer, Feoh Wizard, Iss Enchanter, Wynn Summoner or Aeore Healer.
The "Stone of Destiny" disappears even if you Awaken as your designated class.

so all 70+ chars automatically get a "stone of destiny" ?
i alrdy read that we cant awaken as a class we have as subclass if that is correct .
my question would be : for example a Dwarf awakens as "Aeore Healer" , would that make any difference in olympiad ? the dwarf would be going in there as Healer and compete for Hero Healer correct ?

How are we gona be able to change our subclass to another class in order to get the awaken to the class done that we currently have as Subclass ?
Clan war question. Lets say you have 5 wars up, will this mean that no other clan can declare on you ? Cause if they can and you cant declare back:(
so all 70+ chars automatically get a "stone of destiny" ?

Correct - according to the patch notes, everybody who is lvl 70 on the day GoD goes live will get a stone of destiny (which then can be used when that character reaches 85 and does the awakening quest). Everybody who is NOT lvl 70 on the day GoD arrives will not have the chance to awaken to whatever class he wants.

my question would be : for example a Dwarf awakens as "Aeore Healer" , would that make any difference in olympiad ? the dwarf would be going in there as Healer and compete for Hero Healer correct ? Correct. That dwarf then would be a healer main, and so would compete for healer hero. With dwarf mystic race stats, awakened healer skills and the 2nd/3rd class skills of a human cardinal.

How are we gona be able to change our subclass to another class in order to get the awaken to the class done that we currently have as Subclass ?You will receive subclass change certificates (one for every subclass you have). These can be used to change a subclass to another sub (whatever you want, of course with the usual subclass restriction) of the same level. So if you have a lvl 80 healer sub, you can change it to a lvl 80 dagger sub.

Also important to note: The "awaken to anything you want" only works for the main class, not for an unlocked subclass. You can only unlock a subclass (and then go to 85 and to the awakening quest) if you have already a main class which did the awakening quest. And as soon as your main class is awakened, you lose the stone of destiny item (even if you did not choose a different class for your main). So it is impossible to choose a different awakening class for your sub (e.g. "I will make my 85 SD into an enchanter, but I later want to make my nuker sub into an awakened warrior")
Clan war question. Lets say you have 5 wars up, will this mean that no other clan can declare on you ? Cause if they can and you cant declare back:(
each clan can declare 5 wars against other clans, if all declare back you'll have 5 2way-wars at max.
If now another (6th) clan declares war, you can't declare back because you have already 5 wars up imho
That means starting GoD at 80.100 instead of 85.100. The question is legitimate and will affect many people. Everyone who enjoys playing their sub more than their main but doesn't want to lose 16 billion xp.

Currently, you're not able to play that sub that you enjoy more because it's stuck at 80, and with GoD it opens the possibility to play it and enjoy it and you speak about losing XP?
Not only you don't lose anything, but it will be even faster to go from 81 to 85. You will have less time to enjoy your class, I know, but I think you can cope with it.
If the kamaels can't awake into a different class, how they put them here as a healer?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtJ_exodvGQ&feature=related

I don't understand, if they say that kamaels can't awake into another class.

Kamaels can awaken to any other class on main class.

Kamaels can only have Trickster, DB, SB and Judi as subclass and they can awaken one of them into Archer, Warrior, Wizard or Enchanter respectively.
There will be subclass change scrolls available but Kamaels are restricted to choosing only those 4 kamael classes as subs. And in "Dev Q/A" thread we got a confirmation that these restrictions will remain in GoD.

So i.e. Kamael dual Tank/Healer combo is impossible to make, but Tank/Wizard or Healer/Wizard is ok (if you unlock Soul Hound sub).

14. Seven Signs

King Amadeo of Aden has closed off the Catacombs and Necropolis, where only deathly aura remains after they were completely stripped of power by Shilen. The effects of the seals of Avarice, Gnosis and Strife no longer apply.

With the closure of Seven Signs, the following changes have been put in place:
Fixed the maximum tax rate of the castle at 15%.
Elite mercenaries, previously hired and posted by obtaining Seals of Strife, can no longer be hired or posted.
The siege function management cost is no longer affected by seals.
Players can no longer enter the Festival of Darkness and the Dimensional Gap.
The Blacksmith of Mammon and Merchants of Mammon move randomly among the 11 villages.
The jobs of "Dusk Priestess" and "Priest of Dawn" are taken over by the "Priest of Mammon," who offers different items for purchase.
The Priest of Mammon travels with the Blacksmith of Mammon and Merchant of Mammon.
Functions which needed ancient Adena can now be carried out with just Adena.
Anakim/Lilith raids are no longer available.
Scrolls of Ancient Magic that could be obtained from the Catacombs and Necropolis are now dropped by field monsters.
Seal Stones offered to priests are paid for in Ancient Adena.
Red/Blue/Green Seal Stones currently in possession can be exchanged for Adena with the Priest of Mammon.

I got some questions about 7 seals exclusive items (if i missed somthing, please let me know)

What about the two fashion that drop from boxes into festival of darkness :

Buterfly Hairpin
Scar

Should we consider they'll never be availiable again ? Are those items avaliable from the Priest of Mammon ?

Should we see Analkim / Lilith transformation scrolls from events or it's a permament deletion ?

From what I understand a clan can declare 5 wars but can be declared (and accept) without limit. I am not certain what will happen if, after starting their five 2-way wars, they refuse a sixth declaration (from another clan). Will the 2-way war start regardless?

I don't understand why you people try to over complicate anything.

Engaging into a mutual War (Two sided) also means Declaring War.
It doesn't matter how many clan declare war on you, you can just declare back OR initial declare war up to 5 times.

if a sixt clan declares war on you did already engage into 5 you can't declare back.

This measure should enforce people to think for a moment before starting wars, not just randomly declaring war on anyone to reap the benefits.

So before a big clan can go grief low pve Clans, they might want to think about what could happen to them if they can't get in a two side war with the biggest enemy for the next weeks.
This certainly could spice up the pvp branch.

Of course i could be wrong :D
Yes you are wrong because everybody will just farm alt clans as always in L2 history when a stupid reward was added to a PvP thing.
Strange, people 'farmed' alt clans even before Fame and Clan Points. Just for easy Kills.
Anything else you want to get corrected?

I see they replaced a DE race skill, with one that removes debuffs. It's not like I already have a cubic which does that.
I noticed that they are removing the quest to remove your PK count... so I take it the only way to do it is now with fame... did I read that wrong?
not sure if that is the only way. But i do know its something like 10x easier to get fame

Question for Cyro: the sword/blunt aspect of the 2nd point applies to both fighter & mage weapons or only mage as someone else claimed in a different topic here ?
Thanks again Cryo for all the time your are spending for us :)
Question for Cyro: the sword/blunt aspect of the 2nd point applies to both fighter & mage weapons or only mage as someone else claimed in a different topic here ?

I would assume that it applies to all sword/blunts. So far all game masteries apply to type of weapon, not it's use (which of course has sense). I am pretty sure that dual blunt mastery applies to magic dual blunts as well.
not sure if that is the only way. But i do know its something like 10x easier to get fame

You mean in the next update it is easier to get fame?

1 - if yes.. but the costs will go up 10x when using fame

2 - if no... I can level a sin eater in less than one buff round.
not 10x more expensive

you earn 10x as much so yes easier to get
X10 more easy , but X10 more usefull.

All new active skill that we get with clan need fame to be used.

1. i'm sure youre well aware, sws can sing with anything but BD can only dance with duals... so removing the weapon req to do hybrid buffs is the point of #1.

2. as a corollary if they removed the req from all skills it would leave warriors able to use bows for power attacks (and be crazy imba). so to the dagger classes, warrior classes they have added requirements to attack skills (not self buffs).

which, to me, makes a lot of sense.

The quoted paragraph from the patch notes is ONLY about the enchanter class. It has nothing to do with warriors or dagger classes, neither the "remove all weapon requirements" nor the "added weapon requirements" part. So they removed all weapon requirements from enchanters and at the same time added weapon requirements for the enchanters.
does GoD update the lineage 2 interface? are their graphical optimizations so that it doesnt lag so much?
the errors you describe in your other posts suggest that your fonts might not be displaying properly, and is shifted. for example the sell shop interface, the title of the shop underneath the -<sell>---- line is shifted down a pixel. i'm not sure what causes this but i know there was an extensive discussion about it a while ago; its related somewhat to your machine if i recall properly. i'll see if i can delve the depths of the forum to find you a link... but i make no promises.

Question:

From the Summoner part of this patch:
Fixed an issue where the master's attack/defense was not being applied properly to the servitor.

What exactly does that mean? Do Servitors stats now scale with the Summoners stats? Because if that is the case, it would now start to make sense to get Light armor and a big a** weapon. ;)

In short:

All the good things get taken away. The main rule with NC seems to be that if most of the playerbase is enjoying something, you rip it away.

Necros get turned into neutered wizards who can't really do their job of summoning - instead of getting multiple servitors.

Bladedancers and Swordsingers get nerfed even more upon Awakening.

Other classes get thrown together in not-so-good ways.

Olympiad gets taken away from non-powergrinders, along with the items with it.

New content is largely targeted to 85+, with no acceleration of 1-85 XP.

How about just cutting 1-75 out, since that part of the game is more or less devalued into worthlessness? It'd cut the fluff and increase the population that gets to have a realistic stab at GoD.

-Necros were never summoners. They were mages with a summon.
-Most BD/SwS I talked to disagree with you. They get buffs/debuffs apart form their songs/dances.
-Most of the community seem to like the GoD.
-Olympiads are being less easy to farm.
-Exp requirements become less for all levels

Honestly, did you even bother to read the patch notes?
-Most of the community seem to like the GoD.

I only hear neutral (don't care that much) opinions and negative ones from player discussions. If for you it seems that most of the community like it, then I think you have a biased perception of it all. Some players are happy about the new equipments which look cool, but the most positive I heard ingame was "I'm waiting to see it, because it's really strange".

not to be mean but the above is wrong..

- all Necro's I talked to hate what's about to happen to their class
- more then 50% of all bd/sws will reroll/quit when this takes place that much they "like" the upcoming change and I think I was very clear on my position on it as well aka it's beyond lame imo.
- please say you're referring to the Korean player community as even a lot of the posters on Rochand will dis agree with you here (Laby, Myst & me to name a few). edit: Polls on the NA official forum means nothing unless you think ~200ppl voting reflects the 5+k player base.
- Nothing will change in OLY, the power farmers of now will still be farming in GoD.. those chars are all 85 100% for a long time with stacked gear most of us can only dream off.. so what honestly you thought would change there ? besides destroying one of the few solid ways of income of the poor noble players ?

the only correct thing is the reduction in xp requirement but xp was never really an issue these days imo ?

maybe you were trying to keep a positive spin on the upcoming changes but fact is the more we find out the more ppl don't see this as L2 anymore and well we pay to play L2..
As far as oly most of the Farmers will quit because they wont be able to sign but 3 days a week. Its also 8 classes so the oly will be balanced no longer will for example EE kill every one like before.
Bah! Dont pay attention to Necros QQing! They have been all butthurt ever since Anchor was changed to not to be the "I win" button.

hope you did notice the 2nd & 3rd place ranking of each of those 8th classes
Thats a good change it means ppl have something to fight for in oly not just feed. Also since there is only 8 heros you not going to get whats happeing now ppl feeding boxed chrs for hero because ppl dont play that class.

This update makes the game more balanced for oly and pvp. They made every class needed for party. Most of the people who cry about the update are the ones who just wants to Own every one in game.

What is your global knowledge about Heroes, Olympiad & PvP ?
Some people already log on only for Olympiads, so they will do the same, but only 3 days (it's not something which will bother them, since it's the same for everyone, 3 days) and they will have more time for something else.

Every class needed for party, once again what do you know about GoD we don't know ? Check Korean PTS Video and look parties for PvP, they are not so mixed.

And you will be surprised, most of people who "cry" as you say it are not people who are LOOKING to own every one ingame. It's quite the contrary

Thats good let them log for 3 days and we wont have to see them rest of week. Since only 8 heros and both sides I am sure will get few heros it will mean pvp wont be effected as much as it is now.

Yes some ppl wont like it because they losing there class like sws/bd/ee/se.
Anybody know something about the Vitality restore or maintenance items?

Can we use the currently items or we will get new one?

Because I have many of them (like more hundreds of different vitality items), I not really used them, but if I won't be able to use them after the GD I would use up them now.

LF answer:)

If I may...

This means that, when GoD goes live, it will be the only time a race can awaken to a main class that is not normally tied to a race.

For example, when GoD goes live, a dwarf can choose to awaken as a main healer, or an elf can choose to awaken as main warrior, or a kamael can choose to awaken as a main summoner. Please note that I am referring to main class, not the secondary main class.

Essentially, if anyone wants to see a certain race awaken as a different main class (e.g. a kamael summoner main class), now is the time to level one to 70 before the update applies.

Is this correct?
Bah! Dont pay attention to Necros QQing! They have been all butthurt ever since Anchor was changed to not to be the "I win" button.

Then explain the dagger classes being nerfed similarly then un-nerfed. If you have any consistency to your argument, take away their Hide and nerf their Bluff. Or give back Necromancers their good Anchor - which was harder to land than your "easy button" reference.

If you want to blame anyone for nerfing the Necromancer, it's all the Korea side complaints - them qq'ing about necros for being what daggers are today.

Besides, I've taken out plenty of folks without it - just that everyone wants to jump on an effective mage class with an extra bit of HP on the side.

Yes.
Pffffff about nerfing over and over necros and keep adding skills on daggers(but NOONE complains about aliens daggers).

So far, every constant party in big clans i know misses at least 1-2 of their strongest members and most have problem to find replacements in supports since people started quit game by the time GOD infos came out and they still sell their gear and keep quiting.Irony is,most of them arent nukers but daggers/archers/supports.
I really dont know who will be left to play..
same is happening at ITT side but who cares right :)

-necros may not like the upcoming update, but that doesn't change the fact that they are not summoners.
-the statement that "50% of BD/SwS will reroll" is obviously based on personal discussions. Not sure how I can comment on that.
-Of course I reffer to that poll. The people that voted were 101 and until I see a poll with more people voting "I don't like GoD", I will keep saying "the community likes GoD". To that end, I believe I am more justifed thinking that they like it than you claiming that it isn't so.
-as for Olympiads, one can only hope. They reduced the maximum number of matches per week to 55 and the classes are now less in numbers. Getting hero will be really hard against all those stacked toons, but getting more victories vs. lower opponents may be easier for some classes that had no chance in the past.
According to the patchnotes posted only Vesper will be turned s80 (this is pretty explicit).

fyi mid s84 listed as s80..

btw how hard is it to add the mamon merchants weapon exchange logic to this so we're able to exchange our current weapons to one that we can actually use upon awakening ??

if not then some of us can't even afford to awaken as we'll be stuck with weapons we can't sell (market is horrible) and no way to use due to mastery limitations on 4th class..

- doesn't chance the fact they're being forced to a complete different play style
- that's feedback from over 30 different bd/sws that I personally know and have in clan (lvl11 max members + alt clan as well + 78ppl on friendlist)
- still that number is to low to really reflect anything, all eastern players for example post on Goha.Ru not here and sentiments there is quite different.
- oly really wont change much but w/e you're ignoring the fact it has made un accessible as income source for the not awakened noble chars.. like the market situation wasn't bad enough yet..

honestly we could argue these points till our eyes bleed, not going to bother with that as imo everyone has a right to his/her opinion and time will tell how it all pans out.

I rather focus atm on the things we can still influence to make the fall out less heavy as again so many big chances affecting over so many different areas will be felt.

While this poll would be a great victory for an election, for a free expansion of the game it's dramatically worrying. When adding something to a game, the goal isn't 50% + 1 person of satisfaction. Otherwise you can find a new job.

the idea of our multibillioned gear becoming useless in one night and the different elements in new awakened classes scares me too. Those changes seem too big and too many to me to get implent in 1 update.I can only see having GOD but people walk dressed on vesper and hunt in the old areas still.

Hmmm does that mean that u can use only R+ when u awaken?
if not then some of us can't even afford to awaken as we'll be stuck with weapons we can't sell (market is horrible) and no way to use due to mastery limitations on 4th class..

What class would that be?
how many sws u know with duals ? almost all use either cancel dagger sa haste/focus or a sword.. sws don't get masteries for their main weapons right now.

doubt many dc/ol/judi/pp use duals now as well actually.. unless enchanters get masteries for all the weapon types they use now this update will hurt them..

these were the most obvious examples that I can think of but if other classes see the same kind of problem for theirs by all means chime in :)
Why do you keep complain about these duals for enchanters ? They can equip almost all wpn to use their new skills (myself tested), blunt, dual blunt, sword, dual sword for sure works. So sws will keep their sword + dagger for cancel when 0 MP.

That is the most obvious example because that is the ONLY example, and the example is wrong.
That an sws with an dagger would NOT awaken because he dosent have duals are just lol.

There is plenty of reasons why some players don't link GD,but there is no point making up facts just to make your view better.

but no skill masteries right ? and are you sure all skills works as 2nd patch notes does state some skills were limited to only certain weapon types i.e. not daggers ?

you're missing the point I'm trying to make: for an enchanter to be good at his new class he will need to replace a lot of his current gear which seeing how many enchanters there are + the bad market as it is will means chances are they might not even be able to sell their old gear..

read again my post I never said they couldn't awaken, I said look at the financial consequences for them which is why I made some suggestions here:
http://boards.lineage2.com/showthread.php?t=216503
afaik, for enchanters they only made it so you cant use bows and polearms. but this raises another question - is the current nerf against these weapons (for all mystics) lifted in GoD ?
If I have Dc 85 and sub PP 80 and i want to awaiking like rogue class is possible?
yes then you will be an awakened orc dagger class with 80 pp sub np
but no skill masteries right ? and are you sure all skills works as 2nd patch notes does state some skills were limited to only certain weapon types i.e. not daggers ?

Mastery only for dual sword and dual blunts. But you can use the skills with normal sword/blunt one handed also.
guess we need pts to see how much of a difference the lack of certain masteries will make
If I have Dc 85 and sub PP 80 and i want to awaiking like rogue class is possible?

yes, but you will have orc stats and orc race abilities ... and those are maybe less optimal for a rogue (compared to the other races).

Yes, but you will be a Dagger with high evasion and the Undying Will ability
Just to ask , is there another change for pets intended? Making them capable of going 99 is good and all , but then they'd be the same after lvl 70 (65 for kooka) except for heal/recharge...Maybe make them increase the buff duration by 30 seconds for each 5 lvls? Thus making them give 4 minute buffs at 99 seems reasonable enough :) .

EDIT : sounds perfectly "fair" to remove the DE's self ress , but add orcs with invulnerability skill....
dunno when developers will realise the "night time skill" is totally worthless.
Hi all

Is that true? all sub skill deleted, sub transformation to? or only class specifi skills?

Which nuker will be the best after god update?
Hi all

All current sub class skills will be deleted and you get to choose from the new ones they provide. I don't know about the lvl 80 sub class transformations but they're useless anyway.
All awakened mages will have the same skill set after trading their old skills for the new ones.
The only differences are the basic stats and racial skills.
as all nukers will be the same arch class upon awakening what you're really asking is which race will be best.. atm the discussion is between dark elf/light elf due to mc crit rate vs matt power.. check their race skills + base stats
SinGS:so that mean i make a bad step, i was choice sk for ud skill and after god update its disappear,i have already a wc sub and its 75 right now, only that sub its worth to not delete it.

great :D i'm happy to i choice STS :D

As I understand it all subs give the same subskills at level 65 70 75 80 as you can see in the patchnotes they are generic, like boost cast speed or boost critrate.
And each time you take the skills you increase its level much like you increase with level 65 and 70 subskills now.
I dont want a lineage like aion or wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dunno , havent seen it in action ^^
for learning those sub skills need to complete transform quest?
With the Stone of Destiny and the Subclass Change Certificates, is it possible to switch a main class and a subclass (e.g. Gladiator/Bladedancer -> Enchanter/Gladiator)?

I know it's a stupid question, but I thought it would be better to ask than to assume, since we all know what happens when you "assume" things.

Considering you debuff bar, it would :P
Cryo's translation:
The update issues all characters who are level 70 or above with a single "Stone of Destiny."

Google's translation:
Updating more than 76 levels to the character of a dog shall be a stone of destiny.

Which one is it? 70 or 76?

And if it's 76, does the character have to complete the third class change?
Hahaha, I love how google translator translates XD

Yatta http://gametsg.yatta.com.tw/lineage2/index.php?view=article&articleid=323503&viewboard=1 translated KR L2 wiki and say it's 76 also. Need Cryo to reconfirm that.
=D i like this one too

Can I get rare item from unindentified item of B-S grade? (They are in shop).
Can I get rare item from unindentified item of B-S grade? (They are in shop).

you get either a plain item which can't be traded, or you get a normal item. under R grade you can't get Blessed type item from store bought items.

you craft masterwork, still.
And R-grade items from raid bosses/mobs will be unindentified too?
yes, all drops are unidentified.
You must talk to Cain to identify them.
stay awhile and listen!

Hello,

I am still a bit confused about awakening system, dual main and rest of subclasses restrictions. Would it be possible to chose any of 3 subclasses to be dual-main class if restrictions allow it? Does the dual main class restriction apply only between awakened main and the one sub being selected as dual main, or I will be not able to awake main if any of existing subs is in conflict with it?

My scenario is:
I have Storm Screamer / Soultaker / Duelist / Cardinal
I would like to awake main (StS) to Feoh Wizard, but keep Soultaker as an sub and chose either Duelist or Cardinal as dual-main class? Would that be somehow possible pls?
yes that will be fine as the sub you want to awaken isn't a mage class like your main so np ?

Search is your friend. If you cant figure it out, im sure someone can explain search to you if you ask nicely.

Asking the same question everyone else has already asked, is not being very constructive.
from what i understand of the existing translations, the only choice that is presented is to dual class from the duelist or caridnal sub in this case. from the information presented about the new subclass rules it appears to me the soultaker sub may actually be deleted, or cancelled forcibly.

i can't rightly say whether or not your soultaker sub will be affected, however making a dual class with any combination of mage/tank/healer is definitely in the cards.

The basic stats for each race have been changed to reduce the gap between the different races:
Fighter Human Elf Dark Elf Orc Dwarf Kamael
STR 88 82 92 88 87 88
DEX 55 61 56 50 53 57
CON 82 82 77 87 85 80
INT 39 41 42 37 39 43
WIT 39 38 39 38 37 36
MEN 38 37 35 41 40 37

Mystic Human Elf Dark Elf Orc Dwarf Kamael
STR 38 36 39 40 40 40
DEX 27 32 30 23 24 28
CON 41 38 37 43 42 38
INT 79 74 85 77 82 82
WIT 78 84 77 74 72 78
MEN 78 77 73 84 81 75

What about Transformations? Will be stats in transform changed accordingly?

That's why I brought up my example of switching a main class with a subclass (Duelist/Bladedancer -> Enchanter/Gladiator).

What will the system say/do if you want to use the Stone of Destiny and awaken the Duelist as an Enchanter but have a Bladedancer subclass (which falls under the Enchanter class)? It would kind of suck if the Bladedancer subclass is, say, 79, then the system forcibly deletes it, then you can choose the Gladiator subclass but have to start at level 40.

But, I guess it doesn't matter since Redneck said it's possible.
