With this maintenance:
The Hero's Treasure Chest (http://boards.lineage2.com/showthread.php?t=214916) will be removed. The chest is a single item in your inventory or warehouse, when you may have received in May 2011 as a subscription bonus during the 7th Anniversary Celebration. Double-clicking on the purple chest icon will "open" the chest. The items inside the chest will not be removed from the game, but any unopened Hero's Treasure Chests will. If you have not opened your Hero's Treasure Chest yet, do so before this maintenance.
The Double XP & Drops Week (http://www.lineage2.com/archive/2011/08/double_xp_drops_1.html) event begins! Enjoy!
All characters' vitality will be refilled. A vitality refill will happen with every regular weekly maintenance until the live launch of Goddess of Destruction later this year.

Too bad maintinence today's. I menaget to get some small breake from everyday things cause i was sure maintinence was yesterday and i wanted to play but bah maintinence today. ****.

It is 12:00 GMT, the problem is just that during summer (DST), UK is using "British summer time", which effectively is GMT+1 (and Germany etc. are using GMT+2 instead of GMT+1). So if someone says "12pm GMT" right now and you're living in the UK, it is 1pm local time for you. Time zones are an unsolvable problem it seems, lots of people use the wrong time zone names (EST instead of EDT etc.) which then causes trouble when others look up the time on a "convert to your local time zone" website.

EST is currently right, since US East Coast has DST settings on.
But your are right, far too many people get Timezones wrong, especially US Citizens (when it comes to timezones outside their main territory) and people who spent most of their year on GMT/UTC zones...
I just wake up with a smile on my face "aaa so nice waether ouside.. Who cares... not me" I just wanted to play L2.. in my dark room. Today I was free to play Lineage 2 but WTF 14:00 o´clock (UTC + 01:00 Copenhagen, Paris Brussels , Madrid) OMFG... server was down... :(v sad sad :(:confused: now what I think I will play Aion that time :)
