Dunno if this is really the case, but isn't constantly bumping/creating similar threads against the forum rules?

He could be trying to tell you that so you wouldn't get hit with a wet noodle by the moderators (infractions).

One thread was saying patching server was back up, 1 thread was explaining to someone the time frame of maintenance, and 1 thread say I was sick of waiting.

Hey, I was just asking. I think there's a rule about that too. Making lots of threads on the same topic while we already have an active topic on the situation.
