Considering the launch date is 2 weeks away, the pts should start this week?
I think i recall Sace saying it will be about a 2 week pts then it will launch.
So can we expect the pts to start on wednesday with an extended maintenance? or will there be a special maintenance on a different day?
Can you imagine all the excitement that crossed the world... all the phone calls, chats, texts to friends about the release dates? All those so excited they couldn't control themselves for that split moment as they read that 30th of November is the date?!?

Why did you not either make the new website have direct links to our forums, lib, etc. or stop the forced redirect to it from the old links.
OMG, we are going to have **** arounds just to get to the forums and library until or even perhaps after the release of the free to play. again normally when a site comes up like that with a date its the release so im basing this off the other MMO's iv seen/played.
We should hear something about the PTS prob tomorrow if not this week
reason is bc GoD isnt out tell the 30th why would it take you to GoD client since your current client will auto update when GoD is released
This is a wrong system for users with limit usage bandwidth. We need an offline client to download and after update only the necesary files.
At more Europe ISPs there are a limit for example 20 gigas per month. Or if you are using a LTE 4G connexion 100 simetric megas there are a download limit too :(

Well so far the EU people iv played with have no issues, but I know there are providers that do this or starting to do this since now you can stream alot online, so either you hit your ca and deal with it or buy a higher cap... greedy providers lol.
Thus what they are doing with 4G on phones before it was unlimited now they charging for so many gigs, thank god Im grandfather in with unlimited =P

Also most likely that download button if for the L2 client it self not GoD since its not released the button will still be the same button even when GoD is released. Sorry again but once GoD goes lives your CURRENT L2 client will download the GoD patch so cant understand why your QQing about it. So all that button does is allow you to install the the l2 client just like the one on the current L2 site nothing new or nothing special will that button ever do, oh and it isnt broken

what it means is the Price gouging for L2 will stop, and we will get the PC Point system (to make L2 Truly Free)
we will not get GOD PTS; and i'll tell you why. people will be buying PC point items and finding out the code is borked. then we'll be shut down for 2 days while they patch the servers and introduce new bugs and unpatch old bugs (like every other time we get patches)
meantime there will be no PTS anouncement nor website info, nor l2.eu info.
don't you worry, we'll be in GoD sometime in 2012. thats "Soon"

There are three Exploration Packs to purchase: the Discovery Pack, the Adventure Pack, and the Destiny Pack. Question for marketing, but I'd imagine the purpose is so the main website doesn't trump the interviews. After all, news websites are a business, and the more hits they get the more ad revenue is possible for them. Thus, the more people going there for details (like, er, us), the better for the website. As far as NCSoft and the website go, its a win/win - NCSoft gets the news out, people talking more, and the website gets an exclusive plus the traffic that goes with it.
Its a "scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" type thing that's not uncommon for coverage.

Didn't we have like a 2-day PTS before Chronicle 3 or something? And the PTS wasn't even announced until about a day or so before the PTS started?
And didn't we also have PTSes during events before? I don't think that just because we have an event going right now, it precludes a PTS from happening during the event.

The bolded part is completely possible, considering that we're talking about NCSoft here.
This person has now been assigned the job of posting for the community. If it's not obvious this has left more unanswered questions, especially because he is not keeping up with checking the community. He also appears to be less active than all of the previous community representatives we have had active in releasing information here on the forums, he in my opinion does suck. :)
Also, because the goddess release site has a big shiny download button under the topic "Goddess of Destruction" many are left to assume they meant to have a working download for the newest game client. And because the clients up for download are much older than expected and others as well as myself expected to see a Goddess of Destruction download we can assume "it's broken"

2 - About rewards at key milestones: are they "delivered" right after the level up, or even toons being already of that same level will get them? Example: a toon being lv 60 when GD goes live will get lv 60's rewards or would it need to downlevel to 59 and hit 60 after GD release, in order to receive the rewards?

Ok bc there isnt a new client, the download link/button is for the L2 client it self. Even if it didnt forward you to the current download site and say to the a new download section then you hit install.... guess what it will give you the exact same client your playing right now since GoD doesnt go live tell 30th of Nov. Most likely that down load link will still lead to the same download pag once GoD goes live. The site it self says coming soon and has text saying the 30th of Nov so dont see how people assume that client download link will give them GoD
As many of you have noticed, we have been pretty busy in past weeks and unfortunately we haven’t been able to post any update about the PTS. Due to the release of Truly Free and other technical considerations, we will not have a Goddess of Destruction PTS. Korean PTS wasn't open for outsiders, ppl that got in did that with a fake Korean Social Security Number which is quite illegal and RU PTS well that was full with bugs and guess what I do not speak/read Russian..

It will affect 99% of the server, because you only need to be lvl 76 on your main when GoD goes live to get the stone of destiny, which allows you to choose any awakening class you want. You do not have to be max lvl.

thus why I said it will effect the higher lvl players none of the new players will care since it doesnt effect anyone low lvl
How shall we know if the class we wanna awaken fits to our playstyle?
Sure it will be great to end as lets say Dagger, just to see this class totally sucks w/o a chance to change the class again.....

and i'm sure the influx of new people won't be obvious for a short while.
i would have liked a pts, but i guess i could just wait on awakening until i get some answers, and possibly an english site describing the process without language translations(eta 6 months?).

I will feel sorry for the people who awaken right away and end up hating their class, if there is no way to change it. And the rest of us will delay awakening and try to learn from their mistakes. yay.
