Currently the links from the GoD site are for the High Five client. Will this be updated? I don't want to spend time downloading the old client and then a new one is released...
even if it isnt changed nov 30, the H5 client will update to GoD client without downloading the WHOLE thing, just the new content via the "check files" button.
I just don't want to download the old client now and they release the new one next week or so. The patcher will take a while to update the game so I'm thinking of the way to be most efficient.

Even after GoD goes live you will have to most likely still download everything and patch everything no matter what, most likely it will be the same client that you are downloading now..... also if you already have L2 installed the client will update to GoD dont think NcSoft will release a whole new client/launcher maybe with a new look but that also update once god goes live. Look at AION with all its updates you still have to download the same client/launcher and patch all the patches...... same would been said for WoW but since they make you pay for the expansion's that really cant be used as a example.
so downloading 10 now, and 5 later might be a bit easier to timeshare your family PC, no ?
Not necessarily, it all depends on how well the file is compressed (in addition to how much of the 10 GB is overlapped with the GoD update). As a point of reference, you have to download 6.1 GB in total in order to play on the Russian servers.

takes 7 hrs for you to download something o,O took me what 2 or 3 hrs to download everything for L2
