There is no server wipe....ever.
That is one of the reasons we have played on official servers for the
past 7 years.

If you don't want to play on the current older official servers, then you
will have to wait until ncsoft launches a new server.

There was a rollback once. They lost 5 minutes of data right before the maintenance (someone pushed the save button too fast) :p

Mmhmm. I can only remember an actual rollback once -- maybe twice [But my mind is playing tricks I think -- too much to remember] but it wasn't even major. And what any of us mean by rollback means is anything really beyond a couple minutes.

There was a pragmatical issue back in the day that rollbacked characters by 30 seconds if they didn't log out in that time frame -- allowing people to abuse things like the enchant system. That was way way back though.

But you will never-ever see a server wipe on official servers.

there have been a few actually; several times they did rollbacks to wipe out high OE items which caused server crashes.

there used to be an exploit to drop items in the enchant window to find out if it would succeed/fail, and then quickly cancel the enchant.

this caused server instability for quite some time back in the early days of the game.

nowadays people just use 3rd party tools to do this.

I used to play here long time ago (C4) and with all this new updates (mostly the trully free bit) i decided to give it a new go.

i can see that GOD isnt live yet, so im asking if there will be any wipe when it does. (not that i care, cuz i have no idea of what my old account info is).
i would also like to know if there is any euro server now ready to play, because for what i've tryed so far naia makes constatly DC.

no wipe, and if you are getting DC's then it must be your isp problem

NCsoft West won't open any new servers located in Europe. They have just moved Naia back to NA. If they will open new servers all will be located in NA.

The one that is opening servers localized for EU is Russian company Innova. Most probably they will set servers near Russia as they use antibot program Frost that reads personal data on PC and is illegal in most countries/states.
They have no date when PTS or Live servers will be ready for customers to play on them.

GoD launches Nov30 on NCsoft West servers. There won't be any additional forum. They may open a new server, if Naia and Chronos will fill with new players up to server max capacity.
