Hey, I just thought i'd try and group all the new server channel into one thread.
Figured i'd start off with a couple of questions like:
Who is going?
What toon(s) are you gonna use on it?
Are you gonna level up a dwarf as your main? (If yes can i be your friend?)
And so on xD.
Basically just wanted to know who i could expect to see in the new server, what kinda experience everyone will have and see if there were any groups of players going to see if there was gonna be front runners for guilds and stuff for the first set of territory wars and castle seiges and the like.
Undecided. With the path to awakening gear will be easy enough to get for a while.
Would be alot of fun to be there from the beginning. I hope that Chronos can still build its population.
Just hope the rules are enforced from the beginning. Would be a pointless move if it will just be the same.

From what I remember reading the stone of destiny will be given out for a couple maintenance periods. Will they do that on this server? I understand its mainly for old players that dont like what there class will awaken to. Soooooo..Since everyone will be new here will there be a reason to give it on this server?

They didn't say it would be limited to only the 2 old servers, so yah i'm pretty sure they will do it for all the servers including Shilen.
@Spud: xD probably right but still, it'll be different then somoene being 85, top gear, couple of augmented weapons and fully elemented and so on... xD

Transfers will be allowed eventually. Just not right now. They did the same thing last time they created new servers.

On topic, I look forward to the new server as well. I am 85 on chronos but I imagine the competition for 85+ content will be too intense, at least for the first few weeks. With sieges occurring this weekend, I think the new server will be a very fun place to be. We haven't had a viable low player siege experience since prelude and this may very well be the last time anyone ever gets to experience it.

I think if I switch over Ill keep it to 1 account. Maybe make alot of new friends. Now I need to decide what I want to play. Have been enjoying my archers I just made.

Hence, I was wondering! Some people said that a spoiler or crafter is not worth it as before! But with the possibility to create blessed items, I think it might worth playing a crafter or a spoiler. Does anyone know what are the differences between a "Standard" item and a "Blessed" one? If it's kinda big, then .. I might play a spoiler ( for mats ) or a crafter ! :)

Well I'm personally going to play that server, no matter how hard the grind is because it's going to be awesome, probably the best experience of Lineage II so far hence you can count with me.
If you ask me you shouldn't need to worry about the population, it's going to reach one of the highest amount of people ever seen before. I've seen several big clans of private servers leaving their communities in order to start here.
I couldn't imagine how big sieges/raid bosses/epic raid bosses and all those events would be during the first months lol.
PS: i could only create a dwarf for spoiling/crafting xD
Doubt I'll be a level leader or care. I have a few different characters I want to play but mainly excited by a fresh start, server and new politics and WAR

None of the people i know are going to be going over to it so I'll be starting off solo probably looking to get into some clan of some sort, I'm sure there will be a fair few after a day or so xD.
I'll be making the move to Shilen, i think it will be nice to have a constant amount of players around your level looking to party/raid and have some fun. Thinking of making a Melee, archer, or mage havent decided yet.
It will be the same as any other of the other servers. Yes, you can multi box. But this isn't the best place to ask these kinda questions. Why don't you look around on the forums because those questions have been answered probably a dozen or so times...
Hey, what was idea to make new server with server time GMT-6. It means siege time 1:00 - 3:00 am European time. Manor 1:00 am, Olympiad time 0:00 - 6.00 am.

The server is a North American server. So it is set up to be for the north american time zones. If you want a EU timed server than you will have to do Naia or go to Innova. Innova now has the rights to EU lineage 2. So it would be a No-No for them to start making EU servers, as i'm sure that would violate the agreement they made with Innova.

ontopic - gonna play with a bunch of friends (around 7 ppl) hoping to join some major clan. Not sure about class yet cause I haven't checked the skill changes yet but probably I'll go for the one that is needed. Used to play both DDs and supports before and enjoyed them both (hate to support clueless DDs tho >.<)
mage/recharger .. duh. GOD is the mage chronicle I heard archers are gonna get counter critical so it's kinda OP...
I'm personally happy about the new server since it means Chronos won't be insanely crowded now like it would've been. Those who think the new server is going to be utopia are in for a surprise though. Enjoy your queues. :)
I plan to start fresh on the new content. Unsure on what I want to do as a first/main char. There are so many abbriviations in these threads that I have to research to understand. It has been a long time since 2004. :D

I hate Innova and I think its sux to go Naia to play with dinosaurs that farmed there 7 years.
But Im from Europe ... 8 hours different !!!!

I'm planning on playing on Shilen. I haven't played since Beta so I'd rather start fresh with everyone else rather than starting on an existing server.
I will most likely have a Dwarf as a main. My first character will be a Dwarf, most likely a Rogue, but I'm hoping to hit level 76+ by Dec 14th to get a Stone of Destiny as I'm not sure if I'd want to play either of their normal classes at end game. If I don't think I'll be able to reach lvl 76+ in time I might remake as a different race/class, so may not end up as a Dwarf. I still have a lot to learn about the classes but Dwarf is my favorite race from what I've seen, so I'm hoping to get a stone. :o

that really would be nice, but i dont expect anything, naia and the Innova servers will be there for eu players who want to siege etc. with eu times, and nc cant just open eu servers after outsourcing/selling the rights for eu servers to Innova and i find that understandable.

They never claimed it will be out 11/30 00:01am, so I don't think it's fair for you to hold it against them. All updates in the past were applied during server maintenance with extended downtime. I understand this upsets people from Europe since they may or may not get to play on this date. It even upsets me a bit (I was hoping they bring down the servers sooner) because I'm really excited about playing the new update! :D

Going F2P and releasing the new chronicle almost simultaneously.
A complete redesign of the new game experience, highlvl quests made more accessible, 14 levels worth of grinding added on, vitality remade...
God, they should have made a countdown ticker covering half that announcement website. If only.
