Yes the system sucks compared to before but having pked at low lvl and higher it does get easier to work off the karma. If you cant handle going red don't. NC Haven't hid anything about this system ti's been in the notes since day1 and no where have they stated they will change it if enough new players ***** and moan because they went red at level 12 and currently them areas are to crowed for them to insta wipe it like before.

NCKorea makes the game and the game remains as is, nobody can change the mechanics of it, not NCWest not Innova not anybody. This ISNT a private server where the game gets changed to fit whatever the customers want
And no I don't like the new pk system, I hate it. Much like other people have hated lots of changes through l2's 7 year history. But they can't change the game fundamentally whenever a bunch of people don't like something.

so 247 ppl are asking for a pk change when the total amount of players on ncsoft are more than 20k so the 0.9 of the total community are asking a company to rewrite the game mechanics just because you cant do a pvp now instead of a pk

I'll do this step by step, because apparently people from Retail have a hard time accepting facts and instead want to pretend that by simply being here longer, they definitely know everything there is to know;
Being here 4-5-6-7 years or whathaveyou is great, but it doesn't mean you know what's up with NCSoft. Lineage II has been a dead game for a long time. Your past 3-4-5 years have been ran with Lineage II NA/EU boasting a ridiculously small team. But now that the crowds are coming back, perhaps NCSoft can actually do something. Pull your head out of your ***, neither you nor I know exactly what NCSoft West can or can't do. Mad that my logic makes more sense than yours?
Secondly, this guy saying I'm from Innova is hilarious. Innova is a pile of ****. Never played there, never will.

Lineage 2 is made in Korea. Patches are made in Korea. If NCWest wants a fix for something they have to ask Korea for it. How do we know? CAUSE WE VE BEEN HERE BEFORE. We had bugs that remained awaiting a fix from Korea, we had issues that went unsolved because that's how the game was designed by Korea and that's how it has always been and that's how it stays. Hell we once had an event that had to be rerun because Korea couldn't fix it before the event ended.
Whether I or everybody else likes the system or not is irrelevant. I personally don't like it if it makes any difference to you. But that's the game Korea intended to make and unless they decide to change it that's the game we will be playing. And since Harmony (the update after GOD) just went live over there and the system has remained the same I can tell you with 100% certainty it will remain as is over here. NCWest can't and won't take liberties with the game, it's just how it is.

Where were you when NCSoft started a poll as to whether or not to add GameGuard to L2? What do you think the results of that poll was? We got GameGuard anyway.

Actually if you wanted worthy PvP then you wouldn't be racking up a ton of negative rep; so what I think you meant is, that you want to be able to pk lowbies with little to no repercussions because you can't handle the consequences of your actions. If oyu want to just gank people without having to worry about the consequences then go play a FPS.

Im going to assume your new to the MMO world.
1st off 99.99% of the patches and bug fix come frm NcKorea. NcWest has some tools but can only do tiny tweaks. Go to the AION forums people will give you the exact same answer that NcKorea are the ones running the game and NcWest basically host the games. NcWest does provide feedback but you hardly see any change.
Now to that poll thast a small and tiny amount of people that does not represent all of the L2 community nor will it ever. Anyone can make a poll but NcKorea will not change the system since its doing what its meant to be doing . They my tweak it here and there to better fine tune it but dont expect NcKorea to change anything. Ill give you example look at AION there ALOT of stuff in that game that clearly shows Korean influence and that they favor it more where as NA/EU didnt and hated some of the system but NcKorea still placed it into the game.
If it flopped or was going down hill in Korea and they see it cant really be fix but in the NA/EU its a huge hit then yes most likely NcKorea will look at NA/EU and what not.
Now if thats not good Ill point you to TERA made from BHS, TERA didnt do well in Korea bc it was WAY to West game play style. So Tera is now doing fine in Korea and Japan BUT BHS is now turning there eye to NA/EU and want it to be a bigger hit here and not have the issues it did with Korea. So ya one thing may work here but not in Korea or the other way around.....most gaming companys will and wont make 2 or 3 different versions of the game for that area... the most they allow there Host do is some minor tweaks to EXP and drops and maybe some different style of events but other then that they are copy of each other

NCwest is just hosting the game. They get updates, events and fixes from Korea. The only team that can make such major in consequences changes is one residing in NCsoft Korean headquarters. Do you think they will ever hear about this poll or care? There was huge disagreement with the class changes in GoD, some even managed to vent through Korean/Taiwanese friends on boards there. Nothing changed.
The next update for LineageII, Harmony is already done. We are far behind Koreans and can't influence on patches implemented before. As long this game and this publisher stays under NCsoft management the game content will be identical in each region.
I can't understand why you guys insist to change the game for "the sake of pvp". You will go red only when you are going to just kill someone and don't care, if he will pvp you or not. This is something for pve'rs when they want to claim xp spot badly or when someone annoys you.
It may disappoint you, but all regular players won't have any problems even at lv85-99. We will be too busy with clan wars in GoD to keep attention to some random not clanned guys :D There will be lots of pvp behind every corner and no one is going to be red ;)

Right now there are two very active threads about the Reputation System on the forum. The stickied thread (http://boards.lineage2.com/showthread.php?t=220797) in this section and the poll topic (http://boards.lineage2.com/showthread.php?t=220863) in the Game Suggestions section. Please post in the stickied thread, instead of creating new topics about the reputation system. Feedback from that thread has already been compiled and sent out. If anything does immediately change, we'll let you know.
