As many of you know, the L2 Galleria website's item description of the Vitality Replenishing Beverage in the Destiny Pack and Adventure Pack was incorrect for many days. By translation error, it specified that it "fully replenishes Vitality," but it has recently been corrected to say that it "partially replenishes Vitality." The in-game description will be corrected during the next weekly maintenance.
During the time that it displayed the wrong description, many players were mislead and purchased the packs expecting Vitality items of higher value and ability. As they discovered that the items did not give the Vitality reward they expected, these players now have rightful complaints, which we seek to amend.
Every player that purchased a Destiny Pack or Adventure Pack between November 23, 2011, and December 7, 2011 (before that day's maintenance), will be compensated with additional Vitality items:
Birthday Vitality Potion: For 4 hours, Vitality is recovered as you gain XP through hunting. Cannot be exchanged, dropped or shared via the Dimensional Merchant.
Players that bought the Destiny Pack (between the dates mentioned above) will receive 3 Birthday Vitality Potions.
Players that bought the Adventure Pack (between the dates mentioned above) will receive 1 Birthday Vitality Potion.
The Birthday Vitality Potion(s) will be inserted on Friday, December 9, 2011, into the Dimensional Warehouse on the same server as you received your Destiny or Adventure Pack on.* Be certain to log in with the character you want to give the potion(s) to before you retrieve it from the Dimensional Warehouse, as the potion is not tradable or sharable.
*Players that have requested a server switch for their Destiny or Adventure Pack will receive the Birthday Vitality Potion(s) on the server they are requesting the pack goes to. These players will not receive the compensation item(s) until after their server switch is complete.
I am happy you are doing something about this issue, however I was expecting to have extra full vitality while leveling up my new Shilen character. The sooner you act on this issue the better for all of us.
Now can you please investigate the cost of destiny pack or possible effect of vitality potion would restore full vitality after all. There are plenty of topics in regards to this issue.
First off thank you for the response. But the other part of this issue is the stuff we have stored for awhile that still say full vitality(revita- pops) for example. Those say full vitality and yet they do not restore to full. Or the birthday 4 hour that in 4 hrs you still cant fill it back up when it takes 1 hour to use it all.

Not at all, but vitality lasts longer at lower levels. The higher level I get, the less effective the vitality is. This is probably the case for most people.
What are these items your talking about? Bc if its like the Birthday cake and what not they shouldnt have changed from what the patch notes said
Items from before GoD (Vita pops which fully restored vit, as well as the christmas cakes which also fully restored vit) have been changed in functionality during the update. They now also only restore a tiny little bit of the vit bar. In fact, these items actually also had their description already changed to "PARTIALLY restores vitality", unlike the vit beverages which are in the destiny pack (those still say "fully restores" in the item description).
I am somewhat unhappy about this, because I saved up over 130 christmas cakes specifically to lvl my main now in GoD, and now these items are kinda pointless (when soloing, the tiny little bit of vit they restore does not even last ten minutes, and they have one hour cooldown and you can only use 5 per week...). Pretty much the only thing you can do which is worth it is to use one vit refill item before logging out for the day and then the next day, you start with a 30 minutes vit maintaining pot. But you can only do that two times per week...

True about the packs being designed for 85+ chars! The unbind scroll make all the money! So you get an R weapon pounch! Open it! There is X R weapon inside, unidentified! So, you don't have a scroll, what can you do? Sell the item to one who does have a scroll and you are set with some nice pretty adena :) Or, if you are lucky, u will have a R weapon pounch drop !
Anyway, someone need to seriously think to purchase a Destiny pack sooner then later ( if they have this in plan )! Why? Because those are "limited bonus items" and with NcSoft, you never know when they "disappear"! :)

This is an issue for a lot of us. I want my full vitality potions be give me full vitality since I was not warned that they would do less after GoD.

I think you still need to update the level 76 reward info at http://truly-free.lineage2.com/path as it's still listing a "fully restores" vit potion as part of the reward. I'm assuming that one should also be listed as "partly restores".
While checking the level 76 rewards, are they really giving grade A soul/spirit shots at level 76, when you're supposed to be moving up to S grade weapons? Seems a bit odd to give a 90 day S grade weapon, then give shots for the previous grade instead...

I'm appreciative of the company's prompt attention to this matter.
I'm also unwilling to purchase more packs that feature vitality-replenishing items that "partially" restore vitality, especially when I have dozens of cookies and other items that are now in the same category.
Please rework the shop to offer at least 1 hour pots equivalent to the PC vit buff if it isn't possible to reintroduce fully-replenishing items.
Truly Free is a great idea, but I am willing to purchase benefits equivalent to a premium account, as are other players. You just need to offer the product and keep the price remotely reasonable :P

This isnt a translation issue. This is you failing to test the product you deemed worthy of selling to your customers. I can't believe how badly you have botched your cash shop. The **** thing should be printing you money but as usual you let someone who never played lineage be in charge of it. Didnt you notice nobody wore the ones already available in game for the past 5 years? There are literally hundreds of permanet hats that you never let us have that you could be selling in your cash shop. Do you really think people are going to pay 20 dollars a month for a cosmetic item with a 10 second buff? There is absolutely no incentive to buying multiple packages of items when their single variation gives the same amount for the same cost. The final nail here is that most items arent tradable, which cuts off a lot of your playerbase who would purchase those items through proxy with adenas.What were you thinking when you did this? have you never seeen another game's cash shop in your entire lives? i find that hard to believe.

Have you even seen half the junk in most cash shops? GoD was just released and NcSoft said they will be adding more items to the shop this is just the basic stuff. Rapplez or what ever it called had almost nothing in its CS for the longest almost a yr or so and only had 1 job lol but you sure can keep lvling up but couldnt pick your 2nd or 3rd job at one point. Look at AL CS some of that stuff is timed and not all that great and cost 15+ USD same goes for SUN, FFly, Scion of Fate and plenty of other CS MMO. They start out with almost nothing and build up with great items.

Either way noone will pay for alittle bit of vit that doesnt last 5-10 minutes if that. Sace please let whoever needs to know that selling full vitality items is gonna be there best money maker. Also what does happen to all the vitality stuff we have saved for months and months for god that do nothing now there worthless. This isnt right and i know you are aware of that please do what you can to make this right. I also am aware you do not make bad things happen yet you take the brunt of the complaints. What about the Birthday vit potions, i saved my birthday box to use after GOD, But they count towards the 5 items. I would beleave all the items you get in the birthday box to be special items and should not count as part of the weekly 5 items.

I used a birthday 4hr buff and it took 2 of my spots up. Left with only 3 which will never get used. Heck with the way it is now you can have my 5 vit. options lol they will never get used.

It wasn't a "translation error": this issue has been discussed since the launch of GoD on Russian servers so you should be aware of it beforehand.

nobody is going to buy them anymore... whats going to happen next is,you will try to find other means to make money which means that you will sell really expensive vitality boxes or what ever you're going to call it in hopes that it will gain for all the loses with the vitality nerf idea..
when that happens,some desperate people will buy it,but the server will be half dead again.

Coincidently, the koreans are now in charge of this service after the majority of the ncwest lineage 2 team was fired last month. There is no playerside excuse for this cash shop. Certainly things will be added later. That should go without saying. But I want them added now.

We are trying to make the game better for both our interests, stop getting in our way with your red herrings. The standard set by unrelated companies is irrelevant. The failures of mmorpgs with a 5 dollar support budget are irrelevant. Put your old f2p baggage at the door. Like you said, this game has been f2p for a week. But it had 7 years of experience in p2p before that. The people in charge should know better. I'd rather not wait 3 years for the items I want, and if you knew anything about lineage 2, those kinds of delays can be very real when dealing with ncwest staff. Everyone remembers how long it took them to bring us the server transfers they promised us in beta.

Don't worry. The server just went up and I just checked my Dimensional warehouse and regular warehouse. I didn't receive the compensation they promised before maintenance. There's always broken promises with NCSoft.

As you can see, they are, with the extra vitality items, in the process of being finalized! They didn't say you will receive it this week! So let's hope they will .. finalized it as soon as possible?! Christmas is coming :)
I like how, despite NCWest doing something constructive about this issue, that there are people who are *still* unhappy and just want things done *their* way or specifically to sort out what they see as "their" issue.
As someone who bought a Destiny Pack in the expectation of full vitality replenishment I am quite happy with what has been offered to us by way of compensation.
The credited birthday vit buff potions will give my toon 12 hours of guaranteed vit on top of what I have to use each week plus a 3/4 recharg of my vit.

Didnt get any vitality pots untill now and still waiting. Magmeld server.;)... w8 w8 w8ing and checking every server restart on vit pot there is none. I can't reach maximum and lvl to 76 untill dec 14 to get my Stone of destiny... I will complain more please give me my pots or i became mad in theese forums:mad:!

Seems like every1 who bought Pack from IG Store didnt get any compensation item. Id like to know WHEN ul fix it, been waitin for days and no answers about it.
Why B-day pots are not excluded from other Vita items? I cant enjoy my B-day pack and B-day pots from destiny pack, just because i used some pots before.
I mean, who needs those buff potions when there are loads of 'fresh milk' and equivalents on the market.
In Russian servers shop, you can buy access to the Rim Kamaloka which is great solo exp available for free once per day. In NCwest servers that location is not available at all (unless i missed it) and there is no way to gain exp other than in overcrowded areas which give laughable amount of exp.
Unless they do something about it soon, i doubt many people who came back will stay, and that those who do stay will spend enough money in the shop which is the only source of income for NCwest now.
If you decided to take on the Innova Systems business model, why not offer the same features at least? Not neccessary the game breaking ones, but at least the ones that actually ease the grind for people. this is the thing people would actually pay for.
tl;dr: Implement payed Rim Kamaloka (1 time per day free) and Premium Accounts with monthly payment that gain double exp, and revenues will come.

I know many people that purchased the Destiny &/or Adventure pack before the maintenance on the 6th. None of them including myself have received the items in compensation. That, combined with the complaints of all the people in this thread clearly show that they were not given out to many, if any at all, of the players on Shilen and Magmeld.
It was determined today that the compensation insertions made before only went to accounts that purchased the Destiny or Adventure Pack through the L2 Galleria, not the L2 Store. We just now made an additional insertion of compensation potions to the accounts that purchased the Pack through the L2 Store.
